Tried Carne Asada and Pollo both yummy and they come with a small bean taco, that has a smattering of refrieds almost hard to taste bc it's pretty thin but appreciated. At $9.95 they are not nearly as filling as a burrito so it could be an expensive visit to fill up. They are quite cheesy, next time I'd ask for less so the smoky meat shines further. Wish they had whole beans to round out the plate, refrieds only. Didn't try the rice. Salsa Bar is awesome with pickled red onions and Ladles are labeled so you know whatcha pouring haha. Love love loveeee this place!! My boyfriend and I have been coming at least once a week for the last year. Staff is always friendly, dining area is clean and the salsa bar is delicious. We usually order the lunch special, 2 tacos and a big quesadillas for a great price. (You can chose what meat you'd like) Occasionally we'll get a Sonoran dog which is also incredible. My boyfriend loves the chicken tacos and I am loyal to the carne asada. Amazing mesquite flavor! Chips are great. We recommend mixing the hot salsa and pina salsa! Service is also very prompt! I don't think we've ever waited more than 10 mins for our food. But even if we did, it's worth the wait!! Can't recommend enough. Great work owners and staff!! You deserve all the awards!! read more

I didn't want to like it, but now I LOVE IT. This place is a small. hole in the wall restaurant off craycroft and it is amazing. The carne asada is cry good. The tacos I get are consistently amazing. Service is quick, it's an order at the counter place. I finally got a quesadilla and wow! I don't know what I was thinking sticking with the tacos alone. The food here is great. Good, fresh tasting food. Reasonable prices. Interior is nicer than exterior, small parking lot and easy to drive past if you don't know where to turn in. Order at the counter and they bring to food to your table. Food truck style and quality of tacos (that's a good thing) but with the bonus of being inside out of the heat with air conditioning. This little place is super cute! I loved the decor inside - very colorful - and the outside was fun too (kinda wish I took a pic). The staff was super friendly and helpful when I came in to place a to-go order. We tried a few different things. My boys had the carne asada quesadillas - they were a hit! And fun surprise: all quesadillas come with a bean taco! Big fans of the salsas too - lots of variety and all super cold and fresh, which I loved. I ordered the Sonoran hotdog, and honestly... didn't love it. Couldn't taste any jalapeño sauce, and the grilled onions were more like long strips and not very grilled. Just not my thing. Also tried the chicken bacon quesadilla - so good! It had green chile inside, which was such a nice touch. I'd totally get that again. Now I'm wishing they had a carne asada version with green chile - that would be perfect. My son tried the birria taco and said it had a really nice flavor, so adding that to the "get again" list too. They also sell desserts and homemade tortillas, which I didn't try this time but definitely will next visit. Great little salsa bar too - plenty of choices and everything was chilled just right. Quesadillas on Grant and Craycroft is a spot I used to visit often, and I recently decided to stop by again after several years. The carne asada is still flavorful, with a nice smoky taste and good texture to the beef. It's a little tricky getting in and out since it's right on a busy intersection, and the parking lot is tiny with only about five spots, which can make it a bit inconvenient. That said, while everything tasted fine, I find it harder to justify coming here as often. There are other nearby spots with quesadillas that are just as good and served in more generous portions. My biggest gripe is the salsa containers--SO TINY! Please get the standard size like every other restaurant in town. Still, if you're nearby and craving a solid carne asada quesadilla, this place is worth a try. read more

This place is delicious as always. I got the lunch combo. Two tacos and a quesadilla for $12 after tax and fees. I always add grilled onions and jalapeño to the cheese quesadilla. I got the Al pastor and carne asada. My favorite salsas are still the jalapeño and cilantro cream. It was delicious. I came 15 minutes before close and the cashier asked if I was dining in. I said no but it really stuck out to me that despite being about to close she offered that. Hospitality goes a long way. Two more groups came in after me and she remained courteous until I left at 7:55. For that alone I'd continue to support this business! read more

This place is awesome! Simple concept but complex flavors. We got several tacos, the Al Pastor Quesadilla and the Ribeye Quesadilla. The quesadillas cone with a bean taco... and let me tell you- if I wasn't so stuffed I would have wanted another one. Their refried beans is up there ... and I am generally very picky and don't care for beans. The quesadillas are cheesy which means they are going to be a bit greasy and regardless of what protein you get- sooo good. Service is super nice and quick. They have a fresh salsa bar where I discovered their Pina (pineapple) salsa... I could drink that as a dessert if it was permissible! They have fresh tortillas for sale as well as sodas and desserts. I had to get pick up and it was only there for a moment however, they have indoor seating at tables and a walk up register to order. They also have desserts to buy and a salsa station, which I love. Loved this place so so so much. I got a chorizo and a jaas taco. Both were excellent but also THE SALSAS. Will be dreaming of those -- they seriously need to be bottled and sold to locals. I couldn't wait to eat at this place. I just ordered a plain cheese quesadilla to see if I liked the tortillas and the cheese. I placed an order to go and I was really surprised when I got home. The menu says they cook these on a grill? Mine was definitely nuked in the microwave. I loved the tortillas and I think I liked the cheese. It was hard to tell because my quesadilla had about 1/18th of an inch of cheese and only was filled to about 3/4 of the center to the edges.
