I got one of the combo dishes mainly because it offered a variety of proteins and side dishes. I also saw several more items in the menu that I knew I wanted to try on my next visit. The food was delicious! I surprised myself by finishing the whole plate. I was also delighted to find La Cocina De Mary had atole. It's a traditional cold weather drink made with masa harina, milk, and spices. My tia made it when I was a kid, so there's fond memories.
