Tacos: Lengua (beef tongue) x2, Cabeza (beef cheeks) x2, Tripa (fried intestines), Suadero (rose meat) | $3 each
Cherylynn N.

Tacos with a side of attitude. But, hey where else can you get a meal for under $10 in hella bougie Yountville? Plus, dudes are entitled to have their MANstrual cycle days too. Just sayin'. If you're on a budget and/or you're still hungry after eating tweezified food, Tacos Garcia gotchu! They're taco truck parked in a deserted looking lot across from North Block Hotel and RH Restaurant. M E N U * Tacos ($3 each), burritos ($10-$13), and quesadillas ($7-$10) --Proteins: Asada (beef), suadero ("rose meat"), pastor (grilled pork), chorizo (sausage), cabeza (beef cheeks), tripa (fried intestines), lengua (beef tongue), pollo (chicken), carnitas (fried pork), and buche (pork stomach). Bottled drinks available. Cash only. T A C O S - $3 E A C H The tacos are served with warmed, double layer corn tortillas, cilantro+onions, grilled peppers, radish slices, and lemon wedges. They're topped with salsa roja (mild heat) and salsa verde (bright and tangy): http://tinyurl.com/2z7ruy6v * Lengua: Beef tongue x2 My go-to offal, the lengua was tender and beefy...not meltingly tender tho. * Cabaeza: Beef cheek x2 Rich, flavorful, and moist. * Tripa: Fried intestine They use small intestinal tubes (not honeycomb tripe) and you can taste the barnyard funk. I usually like tripa but wouldn't order this again. * Suadero: "Rose Meat" The beef cousin of carnitas, rich marbling, smooth, and tender. While the tacos were tasty and generously topped with protein, they were quite wet so have plenty of napkins ready. I was too scared to ask for extra so just went back to Bardessono to eat the rest. S E R V I C E Brusque and snarky... but I'm not there for red carpet service. No line or any customers on a Saturday evening so prompt service. A M B I A N C E Weathered food truck in an empty lot. No seating. P A R K I N G Street parking. Overall, pretty solid street tacos for the area. Def worth a visit if you're looking for cheap eats in Yountville. Just don't expect service with a smile and you're good.

Pescado Tacos & Lengua (Tongue )
Imelda R.

Only taco truck in Town of Yountville and it did not disappoint. We were only ones in line ( lucky for us ) which is not the norm. Ordered Tacos Pescado ( salmon ) and it was nicely seared with garlic tidbits. We also had the Taco Lengua ( tongue ) - loved it! Taco Trucks are fun to drive up, too. No seating so be prepared to stand by your car. It's all good!

Parked behind eating my tacos!

It may not be the best looking place but the food is legit and Mr. Garcia is both nice and funny. My family and I had a great meal and is probably the best street food from Napa to St. Elena. Muy rico todo!

Asada tacos - so good

I thought $4 taco is insane. But after one bite changed my mind. $4 taco is so worth it. Presentation, amount of the meat, the taste... everything was just exellent!

Our favorite food truck, in a land of many food trucks!

In the land of Michelin Stars, this humble food truck has remained a favorite for over 10 years. Well known to locals, our version sits in the parking lot of the Panchas Bar most days, offering the best burritos in the area. Lots of options on fillings and sizes, with drinks also available, you will see us walking home with a Tacos Garcia bag of burritos. It's casual, but quick and consistently great quality. A family favorite.

Tripas, buche, cabeza, lengua and suadero

Wow! After a day of wine tasting this place hits the spot. Each taco is $4 and amazingly delicious. Tacos are similar to the ones back home in SoCal. Each taco was stacked with meat and properly dressed with enough salsa. Service was fast and they're in a parking lot so you can have a mini tailgate. Would highly recommend coming here.

Food was fantastic!! Everything we got tasted delicious, will make a point of coming back. Make sure you bring cash!!

Hopefully this pic helps u find the truck

Always a stop when in Napa and visiting Yountville. SAME LOCATION!! There was some worry that they had moved since the bar sharing the same parking had closed. See the pic. We ordered the asada, cabeza, and the carnitas tacos. All are winners and u just can't go wrong. The lengua wasn't stocked as the prices of beef has gone up greatly. We love it here.

Pork taco on the left, beef tongue on the right...the middle one is beef something-else ‍. All three were delicious.

If you missed a chance to score lunch reservations on a busy day in Yountville, getting some tacos and burritos here is a great second choice! We ordered three tacos (and also paid for a burrito and another taco for family as well - all for $26) and we walked our yummy dishes over a picnic table next to the French Laundry gardens and enjoyed our food. They only take cash, so make sure you have some ready. There were also several people who came to pick up phone orders, so you can order ahead as well.

Icky avo and meat didn't test fresh

Our crew ate here 3 late nights in a row after Bortlerock. Craveable. Friendly service. Good prices. Try the el pastor.

Extremely rude guy at the cashier - the taste of the food is not worth it. You're better off going to a taco truck in Saint Helena

Tacos were delicious. I was surprised there wasn't a large line. My guess is that people don't know the truck is there.

Extremely rude staff, while taking the order. When we asked for extra napkins, he was like why do you need them for eating burrito

Is Tacos Garcia no longer at this location? I have tried to go twice, not there when it is supposed to be "open." Phone number goes straight to voicemail and message says mailbox is full.

We just ate there today for lunch. Shrimp tacos & shrimp burritos were delicious! The truck is at the park located north end of Yountville. Open everyday except Sunday.

We were a tipsy party of four on a beautiful Saturday afternoon. Having just left a wine tasting,…read morewe were famished and in need of substance. One of the guests in our party raved about the fried chicken here, so we opted for seats at the bar to order ala carte. We had the French onion dip and chips for appetizers, and it was absolutely divine. The dip was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, while the chips were exceptionally crisp without being greasy. It was one of those appetizers that disappeared from the table almost immediately. Of course, the star of the meal was the fried chicken. The coating was wonderfully crispy, and the meat inside was tender and juicy. Personally, I found the seasoning a touch mild, but a few dashes of hot sauce brought everything together beautifully. For context, my benchmark for fried chicken is Willie Mae's in New Orleans, which is high praise in itself. What really elevated the experience was the atmosphere and service. The bartenders were incredibly friendly, energetic, and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we sat down. Their enthusiasm added to the fun, relaxed vibe of the afternoon. Between the delicious food, warm hospitality, and perfect post-wine-tasting setting, we thoroughly enjoyed our lunch. This was the ideal casual Napa stop, and I would happily return on my next visit.

We visited Addendum on a Friday of a long holiday weekend during peak lunch hours. As expected,…read morethere was a huge crowd and a long, slow-moving line. The ordering process is simple--you place your order at one window, pick it up from another, and wait for your name to be called. When we reached the counter, the staff was fine, and we ordered the Three-Piece Fried Chicken, Shrimp Po' Boy, and a side of Coleslaw. We were told the wait would be 30-40 minutes. The waiting experience, however, was extremely frustrating. There is some outdoor seating, but I wish it were reserved for customers only. Many people were using the tables for their own picnics, leaving paying customers with nowhere to sit. A few more umbrellas would also make a huge difference, especially when you're waiting outside for 40+ minutes in the sun. Since we were hungry, we walked over to Burgers & Half Bottles, ordered lunch there, finished eating, and returned to Addendum. By then, about 45 minutes had passed, yet our order still wasn't ready. Around us, many other customers who had ordered at the same time were also still waiting. The pickup area became complete chaos. People crowded around the pickup window because there was no clear system or communication. Even the manager from the main restaurant came over to help, but the process never really improved. Several customers around us ended up cancelling their orders out of frustration. We finally received our food after **1 hour and 5 minutes**, and only because we stood right by the pickup window the entire time to make sure our name wasn't missed. Judging by the conversations around us, we weren't the only ones disappointed by the experience. As for the food, the **Three-Piece Fried Chicken** was definitely the highlight and the reason the restaurant is so well known. The chicken was juicy, crispy, and flavorful. It came with macaroni salad and cornbread, both of which were decent but nothing memorable. The **Shrimp Po' Boy** was underwhelming. The shrimp had a noticeable seafood smell, lacked seasoning, and tasted quite bland. The **coleslaw** was the biggest disappointment--it was overwhelmingly sour, almost like eating straight vinegar, and we ended up throwing it away. Overall, while the fried chicken was excellent, I'm not sure it's worth waiting over an hour in an unorganized system, especially with the limited seating and lack of communication. There are definitely improvements that could make the experience match the reputation.
