Had been wanting to try this spot for a while. First impression was cleaninless 10/10, the service was good and fast. The food was good, lacks a bit of taste probably because they dont salt it enough but they provide salt packets. The torta is BIG! They serve them with a side of radishes, grilled onions and a jalapeno pepper. Their side of sauces are spicy! .50 extra charge. They open early at 7am, which is a huge plus. Their menu was impressive, with tacos, tortas, fast food items and smoothies. Service super friendly. They said they phone and online orders. I'll be coming here a lot. It was my first time here, so wasn't sure what to order. They made suggestions and they gave me a taste of an Atole, which i was unaware about and it was delicious. This is a family owned and run business. The exterior of the truck Is clean which leads me to believe the inside is clean! Today I ordered two breakfast tacos. One was ham, egg and cheese and the other was bacon, egg and cheese, all made to order! I took mine to-go, although they do have a seating area that is shaded. Once home, I opened the bag to find two tacos, neatly wrapped in foil along with my salsa, napkins, salt and a sweet treat. The tacos were still piping hot! They were both really good but I think the bacon slipped in for the win. Why? Because it's bacon!! One taco would have been enough but I really wanted to try both. Not your average taco truck! Tacos,tortas, quesadillas, fruit trays, smoothies, you name it they have it. After ordering the chicken and carne asada tacos condensa I was completely satisfied. The flavors were unique. I came back the next day with a coworker and tried the suadero and it did not disappoint . My coworker ordered the torta traviesa, it was packed with meat . I also ordered a "Barbie" smoothie which is basically strawberry. It was refreshing , left me eager to try different flavors. The young girl who works the cash register is always smiling and welcoming . They have tap payment which is a bonus for me because I never carry cash. I ordered the Milanesa Torta ($14) to go. The first half was pretty good but the second half had the most leather (think cheap old left in the sun for years boots but worse) like meat that I have EVER tasted, it was inedible, so I threw it away. With so many food trucks/restaurants in Napa - business owners should be aware of the great importance of a first impression (many places don't even get a chance to make a first impression) look I get human error, maybe they didn't notice the cut of meat was garbage WAHTEVER but human nature doesn't much care as to WHY the meal was subpar and as such I doubt I will ever visit La Condesa Taqueria again. Places like this taco truck makes me wonder why I even bother with places that I have never tried at this point in my life. Maybe it's time to just stick to the tired and true and avoid being served crap. P.S. I was not given any hot sauce. read more

Good eats! This place is on Trancas near Napa Valley Car Wash. Fast and efficient service. I got two tacos, chorizo and steak. The chorizo was delicious and spicy! The meat was flavorful, nice tortillas and topped w a verde salsa. I will definitely come back for more of the chorizo. The tacos are $2 each. I also got a bean, rice and cheese burrito. They're adventurous, they make mango chutney tortas, as well as pecan milkshakes. However, it's their vegetarian vegetable burrito that's underrated. Encased in a whole wheat tortilla with brown rice, broccoli, carrots&cauliflower (the so-called "California blend") as well as guacamole&zucchini, it sounds dreary, if not dreadful. It is anything but. It's hearty, filling, and while their house salsa is fresh&spicy, adding hot sauce doesn't hurt, but enhances. A lunch (complete with drink) costs about $10. This is the first time I've eaten at this truck and it was tasty. I ordered a veggie sandwich, not totally sure of what to expect. It's was full of actual veggies! Broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, peas, etc...all held together by cheese. It was super flavorful, the bread was a bit limp, so I needed a fork. My daughters Tacos were also quite excellent, the meat was perfectly seasoned, and she asked for lettuce and tomato on it which was no big deal to them. Super nice and accommodating. The truck restaurant's owner Jose was happy to share information about the selections, how they are prepared and why specific ingredients are chosen. I knew it was going to be an amazing eating experience. I asked the young lady if they had pastor tortas, and she immediately said yes, I ordered one and proceeded to ask about the pink water, she said it was guava water, (oh, my favorite) I ordered one and she also hinted they had chocolate champorrado, and asked if I would like to try it, I said yes and she served it in a small plastic shot container..I sipped it slowly..ahh, sooo good! :) The torta was perfectly toasted and soft inside with the delicious pastor meat, grilled onions and other tasty condiments.
