I've seen them open early hours and late hours in different days of the week while driving in that area. My first two times I stopped in (one on a Monday around 3pm and once on a Friday around 6pm) the truck was there but nobody was manning it. The 3rd time I went I was able to finally get service and try this place out. This is a cash only food truck. So I'll put that out there early for the curious. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and my wife ordered a steak burrito. Neither of us ordered a beverage but they do sale cans of soda and bottles of Jarrittos. The food portions were very large and adequately priced at around $9-$11 a plate. Both my quesadilla and my wife's burrito had plenty of flavor and copious amount of cheese. I will pre warn those who may like spicy sauces or may only like stuff with a little kick. There salsa for the quesadilla was very spicy and hot. My wife had verde sauce and said it was even spicier then the salsa. So don't do what we did and go without a beverage. Get yourself a drink! Or if you don't like spicy or hot at all then stay away from the sauces. My only major complaint outside of the inconsistency on availability was we ordered these plates and we weren't given any utensils and they had none sitting out. The wife and I was dining on the small picnic table in front of the food truck. I did finally get the workers attention again and was able to get a plastic fork. However he said they had no knives. Which kinda shocked me and made eating our meals extremely difficult and extremely messy. Now to be fair there was a language barrier. So maybe he didn't understand what I was asking for. But I tried repeating myself several times and he clearly responded we do not provide that. All in all it was a solid experience. Food was pretty tasty. It could use some work with being more consistent and offering proper eating utensils. Also may want to look at a cost effective app or device like square to take credit cards. There is no excuse in this day and age not to accept cards as a form of payment. If I'm in the area and have cash and they are actually open I'll probably give them another visit to sample other items.

I'm a creature of habit and pretty much always order one lomo, one pastor, and one chorizo which is what I did here and they didn't miss. At these grocery stores they bring a bottle of red and bottle of green sauce and I like to try different combinations for different flavors and to see what I like best.

If I HAD to choose one over the other, I would lean towards preferring the pork. But they are both great, particularly with those toppings! And these tacos come stuffed to bursting! They are more fork-food than taco ready. But YUM do they taste great! And that is my only complaint: they come so FULL, and only in one shell (many places double up), that they tend to disintegrate after a bite or two. But hey, I can adapt. Gimmie a fork and I am good to go! They are certainly worth a shot, if you like SoCal style tacos/Mexican food.

He went around and took beverage orders from everyone and then brought the drinks to the tables. It really didn't take him long to finish up those steps. I know when he came back to get our food orders, it took me a long time to make up my mind! There were so many choices. I finally decided to get the Burrito Al Carbon with Grilled Chicken. I decided to not have rice, so I ordered black beans and refried beans. My husband ordered the Burrito Al Carbon with Steak, and he had rice and refried beans. Enrique did a really good job getting everyone's orders. It didn't really take very long for the food to start arriving. I went around the table and took some pictures. I don't think I could tell you what every one of the dishes were, but I'll do my best in the pictures to tell you what they were. We all really had a great time. Highly recommend this place!…read more The customer service is great and the food is excellent!! We ordered the chicken tinga tacos and grilled chicken taco salad. Both were sooooo good that we completely cleaned off the plates. If you like spicy food, then ask for the green spicy sauce - you won't regret it!! Can't wait to be back!
