This was my first time at this place! Bought a friend here to check this place out for lunch! Wow was I surprised by the lunch line! Gave me time to look at the menu! There was a variety of menu options! I ordered the first item on the menu... the 3 chicken taco combo! Real street food tacos are soft of course! The food took around 10 minutes to arrive, I figured because of the lunch crowd. It came piping hot...almost burnt my tongue! It was delicious especially with the accompanying lemon slices and the available "Christmas tree hot sauces" (Red & Green) The green sauce was a bit bland but the red sauce was exactly what we needed for that little extra! It was love at first bite! Absolutely delicious! Amazing! this is what I call authentic Mexican street food! I will be definitely coming back! The best Mexican food in Lynchburg by far! Shrimp quesadilla Is my favorite item. The fish burrito was light on tilapia, but otherwise tasty. Salsa verde is not chunky style, but had good flavor even though it is thin liquid. Rice was ok but the bean side dish with lime is a Must! They've got massive burritos, quesadillas, and tacos, as well as Jarritos to drink! I recommend the tacos al pastor as well as the tacos locos (it's got three different types of meat in it--SO good)! The best part about the place is probably not even the food but the management. The owners are incredibly nice and get everything to you very quickly. You know a taco place is legit when they have tongue on the menu. Granted it feels a bit too expensive when you come here but the authenticity and high quality of the stuff you're getting is worth it. Nothing beats lengua tacos and a mango jarritos. Man!! Lemme tell you. I'm out here in the middle of nowhere in Lynchburg and this little spot was right. They don't skimp out on the protein. I had 3 chicken tacos with more than enough chicken. One warning is that a lot of college students go there so the line was little bit long and the wait was a little long but they compensated with their food. I ate here tonight for the first time. It's the most authentic tacos you will find. No offense any of the other "Mexican" places in town. The tortillas were correct. The cheese was correct. The beef tongue was cooked perfectly. This is a great, authentic Mexican taco stand! The best bang for your buck is the "Taco Loco" they are cheap at ~$3 and FULL of 3 meats. There flavor can be further increased with their choices of red and/or green sauce and guacamole. They also have a variety of other meated tacos for a similar price. One of the best, if not the best taco joint in Lynchburg and you can't beat their prices especially with the high quality food they produce. The stand is located on Fort. Ave and is just that- a stand so there is limited parking in front but more parking to the side and behind the strip mall located right next it. There is also limited seating on the deck but this usually isn't a problem because the food is serviced fast and turnover for customers is quick. The time you do spend on the deck is quite pleasant though. Definitely a must stop for Tacos in Lynchburg! read more

I have passed by this place, attached to a gas station right near Perrymont for about a year and often said, "I need to try that place out" and it wasn't until my last week in Lynchburg that I finally stopped in. Yeah, it was good. I got three tacos - one of the locos, one with chorizo, and one carne. I got a few small things of red and green sauce and took it back to my hotel. Truly wonderful food. And I had a chance to chat with the guy who takes the orders (the owner maybe?) and he is super nice. Go and support the locals, eat really tasty food, and make new friends along the way.
