Really delicious food, friendly fast service and nice atmosphere. I'd forgotten how great Peruvian food is, since visiting this restaurant I find myself frequently hunting down Peruvian food while wandering this amazing rock we call earth!

Attractive, nicely appointed restaurant with friendly and efficient staff. Large menu with traditional Peruvian foods but also Japanese items (sushi, stir fry). I wasn't aware that a lot of Japanese moved to Peru in the 18th century and their culture is big there. We had Peruvian chicken which is outstanding. Rice and beans. Beans were bland but improved with spicy sauce provided. Sides of fried plantains were yummy. Fresh sliced avocado. Delicious papas huacaina with sauce. I asked for lime to squeeze on the avocado and was brought almost a whole sliced lime! Bill was $50 for all that food. Good value. Very nice restaurant which I would return to often if I lived here. Try it out!

Wow! Such very tasty flavors here! I had the Sudado de pescado (specially-seasoned fish fillet). The seasoning was very flavorful along with onion and tomatoes. This dish had a unique and slightly spicy taste that I thoroughly enjoyed. For dessert, I had the fantastic Passion Fruit Mousse. What a great balance of strong tartness with enough sweetness to savor every bite. The service is friendly and the restaurant has an interesting vibe.

Authentic Peruvian cuisine. Lomo saltado is our favorite. Beef or chicken with sautéed onions and peppers with a side of white rice and French fries or another side. Recommend the sweet plantains. Also try the fish ceviche for appetizer. Definitely one of our favorite places downtown.

Came here from lunch after our hike on our way home! It was Sunday so we were able to find free parking down the street and walk. The inside is a decent size with many seating options. We were seated at a booth. The workers were all very nice and attentive. The menu had lots of good options to choose from. I ordered the aji de gallina. It was very good! It was filling and a good price. The Peruvian sauce was yummy. I didn't love the chicken empanada. It just wasn't my favorite. Overall we had a nice meal and would love to try other entrees!

Excellent spot in the downtown area. Our group of five utilized the street parking and were immediately seated upon entering. The environment was welcoming. It reminds me of a well decorated diner, with a Peruvian flair. Once seated, we were given corn nuts with a spicy cilantro dipping sauce. We ended up getting an extra sauce because we wanted it with our meal. So delicious! We ordered two appetizers! The anticucho was exceptional. Two Peruvian friends both told us to order this. The Choritos à la Chalaca were also excellent! I could've eaten the two of those as my meal. Two people in our group ordered the Linguine Verde Con Bistec and loved it! I tried a noodle and loved the pesto flavor. Another in our group had the Lomo Saltado and loved it! I had the Tacu Tacu con lomo and was so impressed. Every aspect of it was delicious. The rice was excellent, too! We had four different desserts on our table and they definitely didn't disappoint. Our favorite was the donuts (picarones). I highly recommend going to this restaurant. Wonderful experience!

I had to show the before and after photos of my lunch to express how tasty it was. Frijol con seco is the first thing on the Traditional part of the menu. The only previous Peruvian food I had had was roasted chicken at another place so wanted to branch out. The meat and carrots were very tender and the rice topped with marinated onions was fantastic. I was with a party of 5. Our orders were taken promptly and food served quickly. Others ordered ceviche mixto, arroz con mariscos, and aji de gallina. All were well received.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Lynchburg. Made a reservation and had my table saved with no hassle, dining area has character and is near the kitchen in a different way that gives an interesting perspective, definitely felt more authentic as you could see the care when preparing a dish Two entrees, a drink, and dessert to go, on more expensive than an average restaurant but definitely cheaper and better value than anything on the steak house level. Drink didn't have a price but was still good, definitely had its share of alcohol in it. Would recommend for anyone as the service was quick and good as well, will visit again!

The food was delicious, absolutely amazing. Worth a try even if you don't know what your ordering. The seating is small but there is room for maybe two big parties. Most of the empty tables including mine were dirty with grease stains and crumbs. I would still go back or maybe order takeout.

Shrimp Causa

Really enjoyed this Peruvian food. Wait staff kind and informative. Casual atmosphere.

My wife and I finally got a chance to try inka grill and it was amazing. Food was fresh and taste amazing. The sauces are so darn good I wanted to take a gallon home. The service was excellent too!

Chocolucma

Wow, you need to spoil your tastebuds and try this unique and delightful restaurant out. I had multiple food orgsms... order these things: Shrimp Causa, the arroz con mariscos aka seafood paella (yummers!! Strong crunchy red onion, cilantro, creamy deliciousness), frickin pollo Inka (stuffed breaded chicken in creamy mushroom sauce) was the best thing I've tasted in a long time. SAVE ROOM or be a glutton and eat Dessert. We had the chocolutma which was a cold creamy chocolate mousse topped exotic fruit topping.

I have several issues but will start with the first one that really bothers me: 1. As I approached the restaurant I noticed this homeless man walking around the block with a walker. I was in Dish from 5 - 6:30 and this homeless man came in THREE times to go into the bathroom (he was not a customer). This was not only a huge turn off but IMO a sanitary issue of him going into the bathroom doing who knows what. I saw the expression on the waitress face like she did not know what to do. Was there a manager working? Is this how it is at every restaurant in town that they allow homeless people in to use the bathroom? Are there homeless shelters for people in town to provide care and feeding for them? 2. I ordered a glass of wine on the Happy Hour menu and it was weak, like water was added to it. 3. I ordered the Smoke Salmon encrusted in Puff Pastry and the puff pastry was not cooked all the way (it was clearly visible that it was not a golden brown but rather a pale yellow. I just hope my future experiences in this lovely town on much better than I experienced last night. And one more thing, I have stomach issues today, and all I can think of is the cooks using that bathroom where this homeless guys went in 3 times in 90 minutes. I question how this is not Board of Health Violation.

It's next to a small playground and new amphitheater, so I'm sure this place gets quite busy on weekends. We all enjoyed our lunches; just unfortunate that it took well over a half hour to receive them. Since we were traveling home to OH, we weren't too keen for a laid back lunch.

One person in our party said her salad had the best dressing she's ever had. The fried pickles were good. The shrimp was good. One bartender was good. Cons - We walked in and basically weren't sure what to do. There was a woman at we thought was a hostess stand, but she never said anything to us. We finally asked if we needed to check in with her to get seated. We did. But it was kind of weird. One bartender was awful. Never made eye contact. Wouldn't take any orders. Acted like she wanted to be anywhere else. I thought the Caesar salad was ok. It came with lacquered salmon. I would have loved the salmon, but not lacquered. It couldn't be made to order. Ok fine. I ordered it the way it was described. There was nothing lacquered about that salmon. It also was shredded on top of the salad and was maybe two ounces. That's ridiculous. Our server wasn't very helpful and not very attentive. I'm sure many people have had great experiences there, but I'm not sure I would take the time to go back.
