Best tacos in Whittier! I have been coming to this location for 5 years now they have some of the best Tacos in town. No fat, always lean protein. The quality is Grey de Tacos del pastor Fire. I definitely recommend trying them out. The burritos quesadillas. Mulita are so good as well. They have great seasoning and provide very friendly and fast service. I always love it too, because I can call in the order. Check them out.

THEIR PRICE IS SO LOW HORCHATA 3 dollars in todays economy plus its gas hell yeah! very worth it their service is really fast and the workers are really nice

We stopped here on our way back to SD based off the great reviews. It definitely lived up to the hype. My partner ordered a tripas taco and said it was crispy but soft, the perfect way to cook tripas. We both also had al pastor tacos & we agreed they were juicy and tender, perfect! Their dark red salsa is the perfect spice and amazing on the al pastor. The workers were both so accommodating and super friendly. Definitely stop by for some great authentic street tacos!

Parked in front of a liquor store, this place has a lot of character. Flashy lights are not all in your face but enough to get your attention. Flavors: Salt and seasoning is prominent Tacos: Pastor: hit and miss, sometimes the best thing you could ever eat, sometimes bland and too much fat Asada: used to be over-cooked and chopped, now super delicious and in thin slices Carnitas: Salty. But also hit and miss because it's sometimes over-cooked Suadero: Tasty, don't often get this Lengua: Perfect, moist and salted Chicken: Moist, salted, delicious Mulitas: Delicious, slightly oily. All meats are a good pairing. Quesadilla's: Also delicious and slightly oily, all meats are a good pairing Burritos: Rice, beans, and meat. Either they need to limit the amount of rice or add more meat. Something just seems off. Ask for: Pickled onions: Spicy and to die for, yummy alone or in addition to tacos, burritos, mulitas, and quesadillas Grilled onions and jalapeño: Oh so good, order it. Fresh onions and cilantro: Lacking in cilantro but enough to taste it Lemon, radish, and cucumber: Always a great pairing with an order Self serve: Salsa: *chef's kiss* Rojo, verde, and guacamole are delicious. Even if the meat is a little overdone, these salsa's work their magic and tacos are still delish. And if the meats perfect, the salsa and tacos are just heavenly. Drinks: Horchata and jamaica, both good choiceso

Asada and al pastor are really good. The tripa is not good at all. Good price, cash only place.

I went on a taco run yesterday to try to find the best taco in Whittier…read more Started off the run with a keto taco mixed with asada and al pastor and then a regular tripa taco. Keto taco - toasted/grilled cheese instead of a regular tortilla - needed to be done a little more on one side as the cheese wasn't quite toasty enough to stay in place to slightly resemble the shape of a taco. Bit hard to eat, covered my hands in grease. Asada tastes almost boiled, and this being my 2nd or 3rd time getting the Asada here, it consistently tastes like it was boiled and not grilled. Unsure of meat quality or preparation, but there are no grill marks and it's a bit chewy. Same with the al pastor. Tripa taco was bizarre. Strips of flat skin instead of the usual roundish, cylindrical shape of tripa (intestine). Usually a saltier, fattier meat than asada, which is my preference but the one here was lacking in flavor and the texture threw me off a bit. Tripa can be chewy - unless requested extra done, which is how I normally order it - but there was no saving this tripa. I think it needs to be sliced differently, the cuts made it inedible. Brother shared some of his chorizo taco and it was the better of the bunch. Red chorizo, TJ style, although it was also lacking a teeny bit in flavor... onions and cilantro to the rescue! Still, mediocre. Salsas were ok, nothing out of the ordinary. Don't think the tortillas were homemade. Service was fine, cashier takes your order, dude at the counter was chill and had a friendly attitude. Seating was limited. Mostly bar style seating but the majority was in front of a window and it had so much heat trapped from the glass that it was kind of uncomfortable. Other seats are too close to the bathroom. Good for a quick bite or just pick-up orders. Wouldn't plan a sit down/dine-in visit. Parking is scarce and has really small spots, wouldn't come if you're driving a pick-up truck or anything like that. Food was reasonably priced, which is good, however; the food was lacking so I would not return.

(See attached picture). This restaurant is in such an obscure location, I can't believe I was going to a Burrito Track across the street for so many years not knowing this place existed. Friendly staff and prompt service. The unfortunate negative is it's location and I'm referring to parking. There must be 8 business crammed into this lot. With a bar to the right and a laudermat on its left finding a parking spot is like winning the lotto. Now layer in one driveway and you have to make a 3 point turn just to navigate to leave. The short answer is I will absolutely go back to this place as long as there is a parking space to be had.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.
