Tacos (Trips) - I'm super picky about these tacos because I like mine more on the crunchy side. The texture of these tacos were right in the middle of crunch with some softness to it. - Rating 4/4 Tacos (Asada & Pastor) - Both flavorful and cooked just right. - Rating 5/5 Torta (Milanesa) - Fairly large serving but has good flavor. - Rating 4/5 All tacos came in sets of 4. Place wasn't too bad. Had an order of tacos which came with 4. Got mixed 2/2 of camarones (shrimp) and bistec (steak). The shrimp tacos were a bit skimpy in terms of the toppings not the shrimp but it could of used more flavor. The bistec was yummy. Pretty expensive breakfast sandwich for such a bad neighborhood in Irvington. Also the person making my food got the order wrong and I was in a rush and didn't feel like waiting for them to make the missing part of the sandwich while letting the egg part get cold. Coffee cup was cute. I suggest these guys should lower the prices, the customers in the area don't deserve egg sandwiches that cost over $5 even if they manage to get the order right. Ordered delivery on Sunday night and was happy with my food and the service. I placed the order and even though yelp estimated that it would take a little over an hour my food arrived within 30 to 35 minutes, hot and fresh. I ordered the 2 pc chicken tenders with fries for my son and half a chicken with rice and beans. The kids meal brought enough fries to feed a village and I thought i had gotton a bargain for the price. The roasted chicken was seasoned really well and cooked to perfection. It was still juicy and not overcooked, or undercooked. The rice was flavorful and the beans were a nice touch to the meal. I also ordered a milk hot chocolate and it was sooooo good im thinking of ordering again just for the hot chocolate. It tasted awesome and it was still hot when it arrived. I love this restaurant. I always order from them at least once a week during my lunch break. The salads are great the tacos are great and I absolutely love their guacamole and chips. It was Cinco de Mayo so that was to be expected. 9:30p the driver called to say he's been at the restaurant waiting for 30 min. We called to let the restaurant know and they said 20 min more. Ok so at TEN FIFTEEN the food arrives. TEN FIFTEEN!!!! What we ordered: 2 chicken quesadillas (not too crazy...wanting to keep it simple), shrimp fajitas, guac, a chicken sandwich and fries. What we got: 2 nasty ass, DRY ass, flimsy ass, tortillas stuffed with some hard cold unrecognizable cheese and spicy chopped chicken BITS, NO SHRIMP FAJITAS, some basic guac with three of the same nasty ass, dry ass flimsy ass, tortillas - only fried, and the rest of what I mentioned earlier - too pissed to retype. Called the restaurant and of course there's no answer. The best part of the meal was the NON MEXICAN part!!! Total price: $91. THATS A REAL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN DINE IN RESTAURANT PRICE!!!! We would have been better off ordering from Taco Bell or even the food court in a mall. NEVER!!! AGAIN!!! This review is for the take-out experience. Shrimp tacos were delicious!!! But only when you add the salsa verde other than that, it was pretty average. Some of my coworkers had the burritos and quesadillas that apparently weren't good. The meats were placed on the side rather than mixed into the quesadilla, I mean what?!? Guacamole and chips were average. Salsa didn't come with chips!! Am I missing something. Never had I experienced this at other places. Delivery was quick and the food was still warm when it arrived but my rating was based on my overall experience with the food quality and it just wasn't there. read more

Stopped in on our way from New England to Virginia. Prices seem a little high but each order had four tacos instead of the typical three and all had a lot of filling. Interior of restaurant was attractive and the staff was friendly. Tacos were true Mexican style and the best we have had since moving from California. Honestly some of the best even compared to travels in Mexico. The tinga was spectacular. They did make a mistake and gave us chicen tacos rather than al pastor but even the chicken was good - not bland and dry like most places. I am looking forward to my next trip north! read more

This place has the best tacos I've ever eaten my whole life. I was shocked at how good they were. The flavor was amazing, the aromas, the spices were so delicious. I'm a first responder in the area and they were very supportive of us. It's not in the best area but it's worth the trip. The place is clean and professional. Not pleased with order at all and when I called the store itself to Rectify order he gave me bullshit answers like my salad was supposed to include jalapenos his answer was most people don't like them so they don't put them in there that is why you have special instructions and you read your menu carefully or you ask questions of what is in there to Omit if needed then the menu also said that it came with beans rice and tortillas none of that came when I question about that he said that the menu is wrong on Grub Hub Yelp and they don't send those things out did not offer me a refund partial or all told me he doesn't know what I can do I only got it refund after calling Yelp read more

I was really excited but they did not want to delivery my order sadly even though were in the same town and zip code! Horrible customer service. Walked in with a friend. They didn't have vegetarian options for me so I went next door to get food. Came back with food and never said anything to me. I waited more than five minutes for the food I did order and once I started eating the lady would not stop giving me dirty looks. I asked for a plate & her response was "you have a plate ", indicating my takeout tray. She had an attitude with me for the most of the time, until I finally asked if it was in regards to the food. They notified me that outside food wasn't allowed but would be allowed this one time. When receiving the bill, I noticed a charge for 1.50 labeled "Especial". When I asked what the charge was for the lady said "extra service charge for my plate" which had came with the fries I ordered from that place. Lie #1. When the man got involved he then explained it was because his policy was no outside food which I was unaware of. (I'm a waitress & I bring in outside food inside places often & never have encountered problems) Continued to argue with me that the charge wouldn't be removed and told me to leave.
