I was in the neighborhood delivering packages (wearing a neon netted vest) and asked the older lady in the front if I could use the bathroom and let her know I was doing deliveries in the area. She seemed as if she didn't understand so I asked her if she understood what I was saying. She waved her hand toward the bathroom and said "okay". When I went to open the door it was locked. I said, "oh sorry" and then waited patiently. She comes out, I go in. As I'm leaving I say, "Thank you". When I'm almost to the door the young worker said, "you're not supposed to use the bathroom". I turned around and asked her to repeat herself. After I explained the earlier exchange with the lady that said I could use it she actually said I was lying. I told her I wasn't, but then explained to her that we all are working on the same side of servicing the community, we should be sticking together, and there is nothing wrong with allowing a delivery person to use the restroom. She continued to be argumentative and say I wasn't supposed to and that I was lying. This establishment was completely empty during the afternoon on a Friday. I have decided to leave this review because, as a black woman, I cannot be sure if her disrespect was racially motivated, especially in this social climate. I would never recommend someone patron a business that treats potential customers in such a classless and demeaning manner. It's unfortunate that she felt so comfortable being so disrespectful to a grown woman despite being addressed respectfully. The owner needs to sit her down and explain how the way she handled that was inappropriate and how split decisions can affect business. She definitely has some maturing to do. read more

Came here on a Sunday afternoon with my friend who suggested this spot. Parking on premise and had no issues getting a spot. Once we entered we got greeted by the host and got seated promptly. The place was pretty big inside and was not too loud. Ordered the tacos pollo ($14) which came in 4 and was pretty good. Also got the sopes carnitas ($15.10) which also came in 4 and was really filling and delicious. I like the sope better. The Coca Cola ($3.25) is the glass bottle type that you see at Mexican restaurants. The prices are a little high in my opinion - $11 for guac, $20 for 4 birria tacos. The other tacos are standard price, $3-4 per taco. You can mix and match the tacos you order. For guacamole and 10 tacos the bill was $70 after tip. The guacamole was so good! Very creamy. The birria tacos were probably the best out of all the tacos we ordered. Juicy tender beef and a very flavorful consommé broth to dip them in. You can get with or without cheese but we got cheese (recommend)! For the other tacos, we got Al pastor, chorizo, and shrimp. I've had some of the best birria in the Mexican food hub of Southern California and these are the most authentic in NJ. The four tacos are filled with perfectly tasty and tender beef, and they are served with a small bowl of consomme. The soup is thicker than what I've had in SoCal, but it's a well-balanced blend of savory, salty and spicy. The al pastor tacos were good too, though not nearly as delicious as the birria. Alla tacos are served with generous sides of salsas (red and green), pico de gallo, radish slices and limes. So surprising Bc Mexican food usually is seasoned the heck out of. The beef cut used to make the soup is like beef neck bones and beef end bones. It came with condiments to add but even that didn't impart anymore flavoring to the soup sadly. I also had the beef with shrimp that comes with salad and rice but they gave me rice and beans. There were more vegetables then beef. And two pieces of shrimp that good sized so that was ok. The taste for this dish was actually pretty good. Well seasoned. The cook was awake for this one. And the last dish I ordered was a quarter chicken. The chicken was ok. Skin was tasty. Chicken wasn't dry. But overall this was not a place I will go back to. I know times are difficult but small businesses need to do better if they want support. They can't serve food like this to get continued business. And all this cost me almost $45! The sad beef dish was 19.25! I don't mind paying but it gotta be good. And the hot sauces and tomatillo sauce they gave me was sad and tasteless. However, the dish they served was far spicier than the mild they said it was and when I sent it back, I was brought a new meal which while wasn't the best, it was at least edible. I've had better. But as we were leaving I checked the bill and the waitress charged me for the food that I had to return because it was not edible.
