I was looking for something local to eat and also didn't want to get out of the car because it's so cold. I decided on trying Tacos Mi Casa. The drive thru had several cars in front of me but I didn't mind because that meant other people liked it too. The menu you weren't able to see until you are at the window to order which gave a little anxiety because I like to look over all my options lol, but I found their website and had an idea. I ended up keeping it simple by ordering a carne asada burrito, and to my surprise it was only $5. That was a pleasant surprise. The burrito had a delectable ratio of meat, beans, rice, onions and cilantro. The meat was flavorful and I added the red salsa to it, personal preference. It was so good and even more awesome that it came in a nice little box for easy eating in the car. I was very happy with my lunch choice today. read more

The food is good if you want to wait 30-40 minutes for a order no matter how big it is and the 3 cars in front of you.If you try and doordash to pick up they will tell you "the order just came through" when you have been waiting 30+ minutes already and they charge 4.30 cents for one taco then they say "i don't know why it charged you that". Then they pack the salsas carelessly in the bag that spilt everywhere. read more

Every trip my friends and I take to Moses Lake, we stop her for lunch. Food is great. Their quesabirria tacos are delicious. For $6.99 you get two tacos. For an additional $1 you can get the consume. One of my friends always gets their carnitas 3 taco combo. Highly recommend. read more

Great lil' Mex cook shack. Efficient set-up, with a drive-thru on one side and a walk-up on the other. Tons of room in the parking lot to do either. This unassuming Mexican drive thru in the middle of a parking lot in Moses Lake happens to have the best quesabirria I've ever had. With cheese melted and crisped on the outside of the taco, a tortilla soaked in beef stew stuffed with tender meat- this was hands down the best dish I tried. Used to be really great but seems like they've let their popularity get the best of them especially at this location. The burritos are sloppy along with the customer service. The lady that looks to be in her 30's is terrible! I asked for 8 green sauces with no red sauce and she says "mijo! 8 green sauces?!?! Un dollar!" I said screw that I would like to know if the owner knew she was running a side business of selling her verde sauce for a dollar. Couple years later- still only give one green sauce out with my burrito order. Such a joke. If green sauce keeps your customers coming back then make a double batch of it in the morning, no need to be stingy with it. I am still a bit salty over spending a good amount of money plus a tip at a drive thru that served me a pineapple juice straight from the can. I tasted it right when I sipped it . I was also shocked to see my asada tacos covered in cotija cheese, grated. When I asked for white cheese on my tacos, I meant either mozzarella or the Mexican cheese I usually get with a plate that I order. Once I covered them in the salsa Verde it was better. I let three other people taste the juice "aqua fresca", and they experienced the same can taste as I did. Very very disappointed to pay so much for something I couldn't even drink. I've read great reviews and always see so many people lined up so I thought I'd give y'all a try. Can't say I will be back after this though. read more

We ate lightly this evening: my wife had the regular-sized asada burrito and I had the grande carnitas quesadilla on a crepe-like corn tortilla. The burrito looked small but turned out to be the right size; the quesadilla looked grande and fantastic. We shared halves and neither of us could decide which was better. The asada was the right chop and the flavor was strong and authentic. The guac/lettuce/tomato balanced out a good helping of carnitas, and the corn tortilla had a nice flake. read more

Having started as a taco truck business this family is doing a great job. They serve up the best Mexican food we have found in Moses Lake. Now it's nothing extravagant but all the basic favs and the guac is the freshest around. The Stratford location is definitely not as good as the one over by the library. The food is very good, but three times, the Stratford location has messed up my order. Carne Asada tacos instead of a cheese quezadilla, items completely left out, etc. I'll keep going for the food, but the service on Stratford needs to improve. Update...prices are creeping up and food isn't as good it used to be. $9.00 for a small sope and a medium agua... that's way too much. Portions seem smaller than they used to be. read more

Tacos Mi Casa is our favorite taqueria ever. The quality and preparation of their generous meat options will leave you coming back for more. White meat chicken, rich and flavorful carnitas, savory beef, and more. The corn tortillas are so fluffy and thick they could be a meal by themselves. Another plus is the price. When you drive by and see a line of Hispanic folks eating at a taqueria and the line is full you know that is the place to eat. Based off that alone we stopped in for lunch. The food took a little longer then expected to make but the end result was flavorful, moist and most importantly filling. Plus the cost you can't beat. Caveat emptor - I think only three places in the world offer truly outstanding Mexican food, and they rank as follows: 1) San Jose, CA, where density of Mexican restaurants per capita can go higher than 100% (there's literally a Mexican restaurant on the first floor of the building that's competing with another Mexican place on the second floor with a taqueria across the street and a burrito truck outside of the building), 2) Los Angeles, CA 3) country of Mexico. Tacos Mi Casa is a good effort, but with no fresh ingredients (local farm-grown tomatoes, organic avocados, hand-pressed tortillas) you're basically re-purchasing the ingredients from Wal-Mart and paying for the privilege of someone else re-assembling them into an edible format. It's not memorable, and is very unlikely to excite the taste buds on a third or fourth visit - just buy a microwaveable burrito from a local Safeway and call it a day. On the bright side, guacamole was decent, not enough garlic for my taste, but I find that most places don't have enough garlic for my taste. read more

I've driven by numerous times and meant to stop. Finally got the chance today. Pretty standard fair, at a decent price. They have daily specials like 2 burritos for $5 on Friday. There's also a Monday through Thursday "Taco Happy Hour" where all tacos are $1. Sorry I forgot the times. Service was good, and the young lady in the window was very nice. It's small, and only has outside seating. I think they started out of a truck then moved into the old coffee stand when that went under. They do have drive up service on one side (outdoor seating is on the opposite side). I had a couple tacos and a beef burrito. The taco was tasty, chopped beef. Pretty standard for these parts. I won't say it was amazing or anything, but it was good, and I will recommend. The burrito was full of meat, cheese, beans, rice and onions. It was a meal in itself. It seemed a little salty to me, but good just the same. They have all kinds of meats to choose from. Tongue, beef tripe, chorizo, pollo, barbacoa, pulled pork. I think next time I'll go with something a little more authentic like pork or barbacoa. they keep it pretty clean, and even with the close proximity to Stratford Rd it's not too annoying with the amount of traffic that rolls through here. The sauces they gave with it were a little different. The Verde was yummy but seemed a little weak. Nice mild-moderate heat to it. Not real strong flavor. The red sauce was relatively flavorless in my opinion. There was a chili heat to it, but other than that it seemed just kind of .. Blah. In all honesty to me it was more like a 3.5 out of 5. Thats a respectable 3.5 too. The good timely service and the fact that it past lunch hour and it was clean. Some places get kind of sloppy after a busy lunch hour. I'll be back to try some other things and give myself a better idea of what I really like about it. I will say it MUST be authentic. Wife had the Fajitas. This was a little jewel of a place to grab a quick bite. There are two picnic tables to sit out side and while there are no great views other than the parking lot. Definitely my favorite place in ML to get Mexican food. The portions are very filling for a low price, and I absolutely *love* the shredded pork. My husband I have been to the drive through location a few times and the #2 spot that they recently opened. The quality of the food was great at both places. The typical meal I get is a beef burrito, corn quesadilla with pulled pork and a couple of fish tacos. it is a huge amount of food for a cheap price, but I can never choose just one.
