Picked up some tacos to-go while driving through town on a roadtrip and WOW! Possibly the best stop on our entire trip. My boyfriend got the carne asada tacos and I got the carnitas - both delightful!!! I would recommend this place to anyone. Great prices too. This place lives up to it's name! The street tacos (and burritos) are king! And make sure to top them with the awesome homemade salsas. Eat the spicy red at your own risk. It is delicious, but lava hot. Don't forget to order horchata to put the fire out ;) The ambiance is a bit divey, but remember you are there for the food. Biggest burrito I've ever had. When they say monster burrito they mean it! The restaurant was clean, service was prompt and friendly, the food was absolutely delicious with some great variety in choices of salsas, and the value beyond compare. Wife and I had a great lunch for less than $20. Will definitely eat here again anytime I am in Pueblo. read more

This is a quaint family owned place in an old dry goods store building. The ambiance is nothing special, but it's clean and the staff is friendly. The food is excellent. The "crispy" tacos feature pan-fried flatbread instead of Tostito-like corn chips--amazing! Get the street tacos, they're great regardless of the filling. The enchiladas are very different from the Tex-Mex that we're used to, but very flavorful and rich. We highly recommend Navarro's. read more

Great hole in the wall which we found by looking at other yelp reviews. Ambience is not their thing but who cares when their food is so incredibly fresh and transports you to nirvana? I had the special which I could request custom without sour cream, cheese, or beans. It was homemade long corn tortillas with chicken, cactus, and guacamole. Topped with 3 roasted jalapeños by special request. The entree was so delicious that I inhaled it and was so sad when I couldn't fit in any more. However I did manage to stuff 2 of those into me. My hubby had lingua , the other special which was prepared cubed in 3 tacos also served with beans, rice, and 3 toasted jalapeños also by special request. We got the spiciest sauce at the self serve area to the right of the cashier. That was likely made of habaneros. Oh yeah that's how we like our Mexican food! We then enjoyed our meals to the max. Some of the best Mexican food I've had in all of Colorado. I had the smothered burrito with carnitas plate, and my partner had 4 street tacos - barbacoa, al pastor, asada and carnitas, with the first two being his favorite. I liked my burrito because the carnitas were well prepared and the rice and bean sides were great. Even the chips were well done, and the salsas were tasty (my favorite was the "picoso" chile de árbol salsa). If I'm ever driving on I-25 in need of some good food, I'll definitely stop here again. read more

Tacos Navarro is a gem nestled away in the town of Pueblo. I passed through after a weekend of camping in New Mexico. I snagged the Street Tacos plate and got Carne Asada, Barbacoa, al Pastor, Carnitas, and Buche. All the meats were cooked perfectly! I garnished some of them with the home made salsa and the grilled jalapeño was full of flavor. I won't miss this place when I visit Pueblo again! read more

Being Mexican - American and also Texan I'm very picky when it comes to Mexican food but I found this spot through yelp when I had to do something in Pueblo and at first I was hesitant because the area was secluded and a bit sketchy The windows have like newspaper covering up some of it so yeah I thought about walking in but I did. For the money, this is one of the best places to grab an authentic street taco or burrito. They keep an exceptionally clean shop and the asada seasoning is outstanding. The tacos are smallish but at $1.50 you can have a variety or just load up on carne asada and you won't be disappointed. This place is Amazing! Gone are the days of the 1 dollar street taco. I do miss those days. But, this place has unheard of value in today's taco price crisis. Couple that with unparalleled taste and we have Pueblo's taco bailout in Tacos Navarro. My first visit there today was memorable. This little Gem is found at the end of a rundown old strip mall type building. I think every other building in this complex is vacant. Pulling up to the place, it looked beat up and rundown from the outside. I almost thought to look elsewhere to satisfy my taco craving but I had already drove from one side of the town to the other in search of a good Taco(previous attempt was closed due to some sort of remodel). Soon as I entered I was pleasantly surprised, it was extremely clean and had that sort of new age industrial feel to it but smelled like authentic home cooked Mexican food. The restaurant had 3 people in it 2 waiting to order and 1 waiting for food all socially distanced well above the 6 foot recommendation. I ordered the Tacos Illegal plate A delicious pairing of steak, bacon and ham. Here's the kicker, 5 tacos for $7.99. My usual taco place charges $2.50 per taco and aren't as tasty as these tacos are. I tried all three salsas and all were really good. None were to terribly hot but my favorite was the off color red one. Was told it's the hottest one they have. It was perfect. Staff super friendly and educated me about the menu when I asked questions. Definitely recommend this place. Don't be put off by the rough exterior. read more

The tortillas were soft but didn't break and the meat was extremely juicy and flavorful. Fresh cilantro, onion, and lime wedges made it the perfect plate of tacos.
