EXCEPTIONAL experience. The wait staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. They assured me my food would be handled properly due to an allergy. We loved this place! It's the cutest hip cafe I've seen in a long time. Love the detailed craftsman woodwork, the comfy booths, the ceiling!!!! It's in Neon Alley and across from the historical Union Station. Grateful the family saved this over the decades! This cafe sits in an historical building as well. So glad Pueblo saved these beautiful architectural gems!! I had the vegetable omelette. Coffee was good. Yummy potatoes. The green chili sauce is outstanding. Full of flavor. We went there on a recent Sunday and they were able to set up for a party of 8 of us. It was cozy with the other tables but we appreciated them making the arrangement for us. The food was excellent! We really enjoyed the enchiladas Tejanos with chorizo. I would order that again, though everything else looked so good I might have to try something different. Now the problem. We had a party of 8 and they were unable to do separate checks. They said they could split the bill evenly between 8 checks or however we divided it evenly but could not do actual separate checks. We had 2 couples and 4 singles. What a mess as we each tried to figure out our share of the bill with tax and tip (already included). For this reason, we would not go back with a group. However, we would strongly recommend if you can work with just one ticket for the table. read more

March 21, 2026, we ate a late breakfast at B Street. We ate outside, where our dog was welcome (the waitress even brought Milo a water bowl and treat). I had the B Street Burrito and my wife a cinnamon roll. The burrito was great (my wife enjoyed the cinnamon roll). It was enough food that I had the remainder of my burrito for dinner. The waitress was enthusiastic and friendly. the coffee was good enough to get a to-go cup. This was probably my 8th trip to B Street, over several years. I highly recommend. By the way, one of the coolest men's rooms I've experienced. read more

My father and I stopped in while traveling through Pueblo. The service was alright. We were seated fairly quickly. The inside environment is very loud with modern pop music playing through speakers. The noise and music was overwhelming. It gave a nightclub vibe in a Route 66 theme place. I ordered the 16.99 chicken fried steak and it was over seasoned with a heavy taste of pepper. The eggs were the same as the motel breakfast I had hours earlier. I made the stop/recommendation based off reviews. My father ordered the chicken and waffles but was given no syrup for the waffles. I had to make the request. I felt eager to pay the bill and leave the noisy overpriced place. I try to support local places but I feel I would had a better experience at Denny's off the freeway. (My shoes were sticky after leaving the restroom.) read more

Great little spot, everyone was nice, the plates came out quickly--even for our big groups--and the food? Amazing. Pueblo chile-forward, Mexican-inspired (but also crêpes? Please note, they close at 2 but the last table they will seat is at 1:30. They turned away several people who came in after us. They then cleaned and refilled the table condiments while we were eating. It felt a bit rushed. Overall, traditional good breakfast food. The cream cheese crepes were delicious. read more

I liked the location. The place was cozy. The staff were friendly. It wasn't a busy day when I ate there. But for some reason it took a very long time to get my food. When it finally arrived, it was almost at room temperature. I'm sure it would have tasted a lot better if it was hot. I might give them one more try when I return to Pueblo. read more

Mid. I searched the internet for "best burger near me" and chose B Street Cafe because it's local and in the historic area of town. Friendly service, but a dirty table. Excellent bun, but a pre-fab beef patty. Crispy "coated" looking fries, but the table ketchup and hot sauce bottles were nearly empty and had crusty old product beneath the caps. Stopped in for lunch at this local cafe which has a small dining area and does offer patio seating weather permitting. They stop serving breakfast at 11 and have the usual sandwiches, burgers, salads, and a few other offerings for lunch. My daughter had the BLT and I ordered the fish and chips which was one of their specialties. My husband ordered the guacamole bacon burger. The food was good but nothing really stood out that you cannot get other places. Our server was friendly and helpful. All in all it was a good experience and I might try this place for breakfast if I get the chance; just not sure if I would stop in again for lunch. read more

My wife had the Avocado Toast and I had the B Breakfast. Both were excellent. Staff was a 5 star also. Pleasant and helpful. Excellent variety of food on their menu. Delicious and cute! We had the breakfast burrito with green chili sauce and the chicken fried steak with the sausage gravy. Both were YUMMY! The gravy had tons of large chunks of sausage. The service at b street cafe was great, they were kind, attentive, and fast, & even though it was very loud and appeared chaotic the servers clearly worked like a well oiled machine. The food came out quickly and was really good, the hollandaise on my Benedict omelette was a little separated, and the lid on the herbs may have fallen off when they put them on top lol the burrito my husband got wasn't super hot, but overall the food was good. the servings were the perfect portion & decently priced, overall would recommend & would try again. read more

Food was great! Service was eh. We're road tripping with a group of 7 including 2 kids. This was our first stop before even checking in to our hotel after a 5 1/2 hour drive. So my kids were riled up and just happy to be out and get a bite to eat. But our servers rushed us out and didn't seem happy with our kids. Not a large space for our group, we felt cramped sitting in the middle of the place with two high chairs. And (we didn't know this then, but) apparently they close at 2pm, we literally sat down at like 1:15pm. So I felt like we were rushed out so employees could go home. They made some annoying comment when we asked them about a good place for desert that is kid friendly. The place they sent us to was NOT kid friendly at all (no place to sit down) and we ate our desert in our cars, lol. read more

This cafe is so charming! We stopped for a late brunch today and were seated right away. It is a pretty small dining area so I'd you have a larger group than 4 you might have to wait a bit. If the weather is move, there is also an outdoor patio area out front. When you walk in your eyes will immediately go to the gorgeous inlaid ceiling, the quaint antique dining room, and the bustling kitchen directly in the back. We had the Huevos Rancheros, Eggs Benedict, Fruit Crêpe, Veggie Omelette, and a side of their delicious Chile Verde. Everything was fantastic! This part of the historic downtown area is beautiful and fun to visit. The food is fabulous, the service is great! read more

This is a great choice as we traveled on I-25 and took a few minutes to journey into Pueblo. Street parking was perfect and just love the atmosphere inside. Came here for brunch Sunday morning. The actual setting is really cute tables outside with nice flowers. Wasn't very impressed with the food and it also took very long for the food to come out. I ordered the combo plate with pancake eggs and bacon. The eggs were very bland and overall just was lacking the wow factor. My friends got the Nutella pancakes which were good and eggs bacon and toast. Which also were okay but nothing that special. Not sure if we just ordered the wrong thing but all of us were not super impressed. read more

History

Established in 2011.

The B Street is currently operated by the Pueblo Union Depot. It began as the B Street Café under previous ownership, however has thrived in the past two years under its current ownership. It is decorated with historical pictures of the Union Avenue Historical District dating back to the 1800's. The high ceiling and high-backed booths with café curtains give it a unique privacy feeling even though its capacity is only 42 persons.

Meet the Business Owner: Tallie K.

Tallie manages the Pueblo Union Depot which is owned by her husband and brother in law, Joe and Jim. When the restaurant closed a couple years ago, the depot decided to reopen it under the depot management, but keep the B Street Café name. Tallie, along with the Operations Manager, Travis, handle all the day-to-day operations of the restaurant. Most days, you will find them during the busy lunch hour; Travis in the back making the salads and Tallie helping with hosting and clearing tables.

Made the trip out with a couple of my no good grown kids. Looks like they just added on a new dining room area. Later on a weekend night, not busy, we were seated right away...and then I felt like the waitresses must have been fighting about who would wait on us because more than five minutes later, was just about at the point where I was thinking about hitting the road, when someone finally came up and waited on our table. Not like the waitresses weren't waiting on other people, it's just no one was waiting on us. Anyway after that, the service was pretty good except at the end where it took awhile to get the check. Food was good. I got the chicken fried steak and it was pretty good. Breading didn't crack away from the steak, the sides were good, and the gravy was really good. Salad was simple but also really good. Others got the pub steak, and I think one of the burritos. All said the food was good. We all got some bread pudding to go which was really good later on. Other than the service blip, it was all good. Another place I would return to.

We have been hearing rumours about service issues. It was time to check it out. This is our experience: We walked in at early supper hour, The room was about 60% full. It seemed they might have been a bit short staffed. We went for their AYCE Friday fish feed. Upon inquiry, it turned out that the fish offered for AYCE is pollock, whereas that in their regular fish and chips menu offering is cod. We elected to have the fish and chips, which is actually a dollar less costly. They messed up the order, sadly. We received the pollock plate with two pieces. Turned out, our server must have grabbed the wrong plates, as the manager told us that our order sat on the counter for 30 minutes unclaimed. My wife had requested hash browns, but her plate came with fries, mine did also, despite having substituted a salad for them. The salad did come and was a decent size for a side salad. Strangely, since we got the 'AKCE' plate, which was supposed to have hushpuppies, we didn't receive those. The fish was well prepared, for what it was, but it was not cod. Coleslaw was included. I found it OK; Angelika didn't like it because it essentially had no dressing. We decided to have dessert. The mixed berry cobbler was passable. Crust was top only, nicely baked; the filling was kind of.... OK: standard canned or frozen pie filling. I ordered a chocolate malt. It was satisfactory. Plenty of it and had good chocolate and malt flavor. Our server, Erica, was pleasant, friendly and attentive, despite bringing the wrong plates. It seemed that she was probably handling too many tables, however. Service time from entry to receiving our meals was pretty standard, so no complaints about that. Upon paying, we happened to talk a bit with a woman who seemed to be the manager. She told us about the apparent error in our order. We mentioned that we are both veterans and she gave us their discount, plus comping some of the price of the meal, probably because of the error. We love Black Bear diner. We want to see our local restaurant succeed. So, give it a try, because they do seem to be working on meeting Black Bear's standards.

It's a shoot to see if they have food on hand. You never see a manager walking around. The manager doesn't know how to prepare for the day's food. Always shorthand. Recommended? No. Village Inn and Cracker Barrel has better food and you know the menu will be stocked. I'm done coming here. I'll continue going to the Springs location because I always know I'll get what I want to order.
