Really enjoyed the new Tacos Nayarit in Cayce! Tried the street tacos, chicken and steak. The chicken was a little too juicy for me but the flavors were hitting! Service was quick and easy. Restaurant was clean and provided good indoor and outdoor seating. The bowl was also really good! Looking forward to returning!

I've had food from their Percival Rd location and it's on point. This location, the ambiance is above and beyond very roomy lots of tables, a cute outside space as well as a bar. What put the nasty taste in my mouth was a few things. The first and most worrying point is the young lady behind the counter grabbed a bag of cooked rice that was in a gallon zip lock bag. Dumped it into the rice pan, but then took it to the grill where the person on the grill dumbed it all on there. Is this rice cooked early and stored? Was it cooked the day before? Where was it stored? Because the young lady didn't move far from the line. My second issue. I went back to the counter to order 2 tortillas. There was no option for a side of tortillas. You could only pay for an order of 4. I ended up paying for them because my granddaughter eats certain things. The same way they charge for a side of guacamole or cheese this should be an option. My last point is I noticed the manager walking around speaking with customers and he was selective with whom he chatted with and shared menu options with. With a new establishment it would be a best practice to greet everyone because we all paid to be there.

Y'all! Come see JC at Tacos Nayarit! The new location is 1100 Knox Abbot in Cayce. Our first time and won't be our last!!! Excellent margaritas and tacos birria! 10/10! Highly recommend. They are thinking of adding tequila and food tastings! Let them know you are interested.

Cayce is definitely lacking on dining options, needless to say, I was excited to see Tacos Nayarit open Summer 2025. Casual dining environment with ample indoor and outing seating making it a great option for small and large crowds. The dining area is vibrant and spacious and includes a large full size bar. There is no table service rather all orders are placed at the kitchen line. I wish the staff been a bit more welcoming and I would have benefited from some guidance on the ordering process. Nonetheless, I navigated my way through in-style. Diners choose from a variety of meal types (ie. Tacos, Tortas, Gorditas, and Quesadillas) and protein. I opted for the grilled Cameron gordita and absolutely loved it. Shrimp were perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the gordita was moist yet firm enough to hold the toppings. After choosing your preferred meal type diners, have the option of topping it with a variety of toppings from beans, queso, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, onions, sour cream, and avocado. I you want a little extra topping, be sure to ask that the topping be placed the side. The guacamole was delicious as were the assortment of toppings that I added to my Gordita. I also order a side of plantains- although it took a while for them to be prepared, the wait was totally worth it. Definitely would recommend and look forward to returning.

The remodeled interior is beautiful! I was skeptical of turning a former bank into a restaurant, but they did a great job. The food was just as good as I remember at the Percival Road location. The set up is similar to Chipotle on Moe's where you order at the counter and select the items on the line. However, the food is far superior! My only complaint is the plastic sporks. A beautiful restaurant like this should have proper utensils.

We were seated right away and greeted with chips and bean dip, which is delicious. They have a salsa bar with about 6 or more salsas people are able to choose from. The traditional salsa as well as the tomatillo salsa is my favorite. The ranch-style salsa is also one of my favorites. In addition to the salsas and bean dip, we also ordered queso, which is creamy and delicious. The grand margarita is amazing! Definitely will be my go to margarita here. They make it beautiful with the garnish. I ordered the chicken and steak fajitas. The chicken and steak were seasoned well, along with the vegetables, all of which were cooked to perfection. The rice and beans were delicious as well. I love how fresh everything is. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The parking can get tight, but it's totally worth the wonderful experience.

The parking lot was full (was able to park in the log of a a nearby business that was closed) but there's plenty of seating inside so even with the full lot, we were easily able to get a table. Our server greeted us straight away and brought water, chips, and bean dip. They also have a salsa bar where you can help yourself to salsa! For my cocktail, I got their oaxaca old fashioned. Which was a reposado twist on a traditional whiskey old fashioned. It was great! For a starter, in addition to chips, bean dip, and salsa, we ordered some of their queso, which was silky cheesy deliciousness. For my dinner, I got the #19--chile relleno, small cheese quesadilla, and mexican rice. The chile relleno was flavorful, delicious, and had just the right amount of heat. It had a lovely drizzle of their queso as well which was a nice addition. It was so good! The dining room is clean, brightly lit, and nicely decorated. Our server was friendly and attentive. Truly, a wonderful experience from beginning to end. Get to it!

Starting off with the chips, hand cut, and tasting very fresh with the salsa that was pretty ok. We tried the birria tacos which were fantastic. The consume was on point. We also tried the Real Mexico Enchiladas with rice and beans. The rice and beans were actually really good unlike most spots. Sopa was great. We also got to try the chicken finger plate for the kids and couldn't help but notice the chicken and fries were actually solid. All in all Real Mexico lives up to the hype and is a spot that I'd come back to next time I'm in the mood for any Mexican cravings.
