Stopped by on our way home from Raven Rock. The food here is very good. We both got street tacos and they tasted like real tacos. The salsa was great and our waiter was very nice. The only thing that stood out was the price was a little higher than 'low fare'. Was well worth it. I will be stopping by here every time we go to RRSP. We live locally and eat here almost every week. Their black beans are SO good. We order the Shrimp Quesadillas and Texas Fajitas. Both are so good we haven't tried other menu items. Super friendly staff and fast service. Their salsa is good but we always get the melted cheese to go with the chips. Delicious! read more

We went there Saturday evening for dinner. This place is about 40 minutes away and I normally would rarely drive 40 minutes for tacos, but I have sampled them before while passing through Lillington and know they are worth it. I have tried the beef steak, the carnitas, the chicken and the al pastor and I have decided that the tacos al pastor will be my meal when we go back. The meat is outstanding, and served on the best soft tortilla I have eaten since living out in Texas and New Mexico. It takes a while for service. They only have 4 tables outside and a few seats inside so you might wind up taking away your meal. read more

This place is legit. They serve delicious, authentic Mexican food in the custom of state of Oaxaca. I've tried the tacos, sopes, tortas, and tamales. I love how the tamales have their homemade mole in it. The al pastor is the best I've had. read more

There are Mexican joints everywhere it seems. There is no doubt that I would pick this place again over your average place that you find in every shopping center. I think it's priced accordingly to the quality. It's better and therefore a touch more expensive. Don't expect to sit at a table and have a waiter, not an option. Tacos Oaxaca serves the best Mexican food in the entire state! I grew up in Southern AZ and have been many times to Mexico, Honduras, and Venezuela. Oaxaca's food is as good if not better than many of the places I've eaten at home or abroad. read more

Amazing food! Very fresh and very authentic. We liked the red sauce and also enjoyed the salsa verde. I appreciated that they only have five or six menu options (maybe more?), but they were all done well. It was also useful to have pics and descriptions on the menu for those folks who aren't as familiar w some of the dishes. Small restaurant but they used their space really well. Nice outdoor seating area with lots of plants. Staff was also very nice and extremely accommodating. All of this made for an excellent lunch! read more

Really happy I found this little gem about a year ago. Been here a handful of times and I've always been pleased. I love their flour tortilla soft tacos. It comes with fresh pico, and good authentic taste. I have also tried the Texas Fajitas, although they're a little expensive, I like the combo of steak, shrimp and chicken! This is definitely the most authentic Mexican food I've had anywhere around the area, better than most places in Raleigh! Went to Oaxaca today and it was really good. Everything was really fresh and delicious! We got 4 tacos altogether; 2 vegetarian and 2 steak for around 9 dollars. Definitely will go back again if we are in the area! read more
