Huge menu- seriously a spinal notebook full of every option. Our food was warm and as expected, no complaints. This is one of me and my husbands all time favorite places to eat at. The food and service are on point. I love their wall murals and decor. It makes me feel like I've taken a trip to another place and it's not so large it's lost that intimate feel to the environment. The food is delicious and tastes authentic. Not that bland stuff. If you've been contemplating trying them out. Give them a shot. They haven't disappointed us yet. read more

I've been here several times throughout the years. Every time the food is delish! But one thing is for sure, they have the best salsas anywhere. Now that it has become more popular I have to wait to get in; we waited around 5 minutes or so for someone to greet us, then another 10-15 to be seated. I liked that they have a QR code for the menu on the table, We were able to put in our order together with our drinks. And it is true they are a little slow, but I have noticed such as today that there were two servers and 15 tables all occupied (yes, I counted). The food it's worth the wait. I love the decorations, plants and paintings on the wall. I do wish they had more than 1 bathroom stall for the women's bathroom at least. But this is a small restaurant. Though small they have tables set up for a big group of people. They have a tiny bar with decent margaritas. They also have the Oaxaca classics such as the Tlayuda; a big slowly roasted tostada (maybe 15" in diameter, it looks like an average pizza) filled with your favorite toppings. The staff is usually friendly but they seemed rushed today. I gave it 4 stars because of the wait, however did I mention the food is worth it. read more

Very disappointing. I ordered carnitas tacos with beans and rice on the side with a horchata. It tasted. . . Wrong. Like old meat. The horchata didn't taste too good either. Charging $31 for our meals was insulting. My husband only had 3 tacos. We had to sit outside. There was no chips and salsa. I just wasn't happy with it and refused to eat it. Wish someone would have left an honest review about this place. The service was good, just a little slower getting the check to us than we would've liked. The staff weren't wearing masks or if they were they had them around their necks and not properly which is kind of upsetting for a food place. The cheese dip was extremely watery and spicy. The guacamole was good but seemed to be lacking something, it didn't have enough flavor and wasn't as good as we expected for the price. I got the chicken soup because I LOVE chicken tortilla soup but this was extremely disappointing. It was in a HUGE portion but had absolutely no flavor. My boyfriend got a quesadilla which was extremely bland as well. We will be going to Moe's or somewhere similar from now on. This was extremely overpriced for what we got. read more

This tiny little shack in the middle of no-where is spitting out super authentic street style Mexican food. It's impeccably clean inside and out and there is an outdoor seating area that smells of jasmine and rosemary. The menu was mostly in Spanish with English translation that includes gems like "friend pork" and "ground beer," so you know it's legit. Our entire meal for two people came out to less than $12. So aside from being fantastic, fresh food, it is also dirt cheap. This is the first Mexican joint we have found in the greater Fayetteville area turning out anything close to real, delicious Mexican food. We will be coming back again and again, despite the hour-plus drive to get there. read more

They were amazing they serve strawberries Horchata omg never had it 1st time experienced it. I'm passing they town I asked the waitress for local scenery attraction and the owner son came out to help me and advise me. He took his time to let me know what's popular plates to eat. Very nice guy. I felt very welcome. There decorating is very beautiful especially there plants. They also have guacamole salsa very yummy. There are no prices on the menu, they charged $ 8 dollars for a small plate of rice and beans! Also the Taluyas (which is a large corn tortillas with Meat was cold and under served for $15. Also they don't have any trash cans outside and they have customers bring in their dirty plates and pass them through the front ordering window, which I'm sure it's against health department codes. Not very Hygienic My recommendation look up prices before you order. Worst experience! read more

The only place I look forward to going to in Lillington is this place right here. I love their tacos! They're seriously so tasty and cheap. My favorite is the tacos de lengua (beef tongue). I always get this here because you can't always find it everywhere. Yes, it is a tiny bit extra ($2.59 vs $2.39) but it's definitely worth it. The lengua isn't mushy, but it's not too tough either. Every taco here is wrapped in 2 corn tortillas. Next, we ordered the alambre, which had 3 different meats - ham, chorizo, and steak. It came with a side of avocado, lettuce, tomato, sour cream and 5 warm tortillas in case you want to make your own tacos. Very flavorful and easily customized. But without the sauces, I thought it was a bit salty.. maybe because of the cheese that it was smothered in? The service is friendly, the food is delicious, and prices are low. Come here if you want simple, fresh, and authentic food. read more

I'm not sure why there are so many 5 star reviews or maybe we went at a bad time. We had to ask for napkins, straws, and utensils more than once. The waitress seemed surprised when we wanted forks to eat our dinner! We asked for a drink refill and never got it. The food was ok (chicken was dry and black beans were unseasoned). Maybe we will give it a second try on a weeknight instead of a weekend, we will see. read more

I got a quesadilla meal and Plato especial with a sprite for 20 bucks and it is definitely no where near enough to fill anyone up. The portion size is horrible and it's really not that good. The salsas are subpar as well. Just was not worth the money and I will not be back here. read more

Stopped in here on a whim today (and based on reviews from Yelp). Service was great and our server was very friendly. Food was fresh and came out quickly. She accommodated my request for a combination of their street tacos (not a menu option) so I tried the grilled chicken, shrimp, an beef tongue. Each was cooked and seasoned well! Authentic Mexican Tacos! From the soft corn tortilla, the fresh cilantro, the green salsa you feel transported to the state of Oaxaca. This small unassuming single wide trailer might put you off. But don't let it. Its clean, the outside sitting area nice, a little loud with the traffic. I order four tacos. They are small to me. I ordered the Al Pastor (marinated pork), Carne Asada (Steak), and two Grilled Chicken. I was literally to "chicken" to try the Taco de Lengua (beef tongue). They also had Chorizo (Mexican sausage), Chicharrón ( fried pork skin), and Carnitas (fried tender pork) The tacos are made with lettuce, cilantro, Oaxaca cheese and a doubled up soft corn tortillas. I must admit I am not a fan of corn tortillas. I always feel the corn flavor over powers the rest of the taco. I am glad i ordered the tacos. They where simple but amazing. My favorite was the steak. Next time I will not be a wimp and I will try the beef tongue and Chicharrón. Its worth the drive to Lillington if you live in Wake County. After lunch you can head from there to Raven Rock State Park. read more

A true GEM in the area! Food is prepared FRESH daily and assembled as you order it! The owner/chef makes a Torta which is a mexican style sandwich with your choice of meat - chirizo (my fav) al pastor (hubbies fav) and about 5 other meats to choose from. Then the light, fluffy bread/roll is schmeared with beans and topped with lettuce, tomato, jalapenos, onion, mayo, and avacados. and the other side of the roll is the cheese, BUT she puts it right on the flat top grill to get the cheese all browned and crusty-melty! I am in heaven each time I bite into that sandwich! The tacos are awesome as is the MOLE (special on certain days) and SOPES!!!!! I have really enjoyed everything! Cool menu with things I've never seen any other places, like tlayudas, a chewy crunchy delicious adventure! The owners have done an amazing job with this little place over the years. Constantly upgrading as they go. If you are anywhere near Lillington, GO! It's right across the dtreet from Burger King with a beautiful little outdoor eating area. I always get the best lengua tacos from the state, delicious very tender and non greasy which i am too tired to always get from always mexican restaurants, i wish they had a bigger place to bring my family, but i come just for the good food. it is great to have a place that know that they do know what they are cooking which is a a constant lack on the Mexican places in triangle, i would invite to anyone to try and compare their delicious meats versus the unflavored grassy meats one usually gets everywhere. read more

I am from Mexico city and i live in Raleigh, i never though that i wiould have tacos as the taquerias in Mexico, but i discover oaxaca just for causality and i got impressive for the flavor on its tacos and salsas (red, green and guacamole salsa) specially for the al pastor, carne asada (bistec), chorizo, carnitas and chicharron, they have the same flavor as the taquerias in mexico, so if have you been in mexico you will know what i am talking about! read more
