My husband said his was good although they put too many onions on top (if I had to guess it was 1/3 of an onion chopped-a little rediculous). He also had a Catalan margarita that was tasty. Our waiter was friendly and efficient. He talked to us about how he came to Denver from the east coast and liked it here. I'm extremely disappointed with my experience at Tacos Rapidos on Evans. I ordered beef enchiladas and chicken enchiladas for myself and my child, but when we opened the food, both meats appeared pink in color, which immediately made us uncomfortable eating it because it looked undercooked/unsafe. Because of that, we barely touched the food and kept the receipt and container so we could return with proof, especially since the drive-thru signage states refunds require a receipt. When I finally called to explain the situation and request a refund, the employee refused, hung up on me, and after I tried calling back, it appeared my number may have been blocked. To be clear, the mold visible in the photos developed later because the food sat untouched while I was trying to figure out how to return it, so I am not blaming the restaurant for that part. My issue is that the food initially appeared unsafe to eat due to the pink meat, and the customer service afterward was extremely unprofessional. cashiers were very rude. I asked for no pico and Add guacamole on my tacos and the cashier did not put guacamole on my tacos. I had to check my order before leaving drive trough and they fixed my tacos and put the guacamole but when I gave them the food back but they literally flooded my tacos with guacamole. The carne asada on my tacos was dry and old, I work fast food and the costumer service there is so unacceptable. I am always friendly with all the customers and ask them if they need anything else in their bag like utensils or napkins or sauces. The guy who took our order didn't even let us finish our order we had to add a taco and two drinks at the window. 24-hour mexican fast food. If you go inside, you'll find all the mexican guys who didn't score a girl that night consoling themselves with some of my favorite burritos. The burritos are huuuuuge and perfect - all they have in them is meat, guacamole and pico de gallo. The nachos are great and also gigantic, and don't miss the carne asada/whatever fries - like nachos, but with all the meat/guac/beans/cheese/pico/sour cream on FRENCH FRIES. Good fries too. My favorite is the pork/adobada, but the carne asada and carnitas are wonderful as well. A huge perk, especially given their size, is that the burritos don't get soggy and are excellent cold the next day - just re-wrap the yellow paper they come in and there's lunch. Would give negative stars if I could. Doesn't matter what time of day you try to get food from here you'll be waiting in line for half an hour only to be given attitude by their staff. The food isn't good enough to deal with that kind of a mess. I watched a cook scratch his head (yes his scalp) before he wrapped up some poor persons burrito. The last time I went my girlfriend got a bean and cheese burrito, plain old bean and cheese yet there was something that was crunchy inside of it. Hmmm a crunchy bean and cheese? No thank you. Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. We stopped here because the smell of burrito was calling to us. We knew none of the other restaurants would suffice that day. The food was incredible. But the service is what took down the stars for me. I can handle slow service during a busy rush, but our waitress was inattentive and unhelpful.
