Good food and good service, and the price was great. My son and I were able to eat dinner for $25 before tip! The chips and salsa were great and the salsa had a nice kick. I had the combination #1. The green chili is good. Not as spicy as I like, but not bad. The burrito and chili rellano were great. The rellano was very crispy. The tostada was good as well, but it was falling apart so I had to eat with with a fork and a knife. My teenage son, the quesadilla expert, ate the entire chicken quesadilla which means it was good. I had a bite, and I liked it too. Overall, good restaurant, but with so many option out there, I will likely go to places with spicier green chili. Our group was craving something close to authentic Mexican food, so Yelp brought us to Guadalajara. It was right on one of the majn roads, and easy to find. We got here and were seated right away. Our waitress, I believe her name was Maria??? I could be wrong, but she was super nice and great with the recommendations and answering all of our questions. We sat on the exterior seating, which was cool, and spacious enough for our party of 5. The ceviche oyster was soooo delicious! It was my first time having this style, and I must say it was fresh and savory! The chips and dip were complementary - chips were crispy and freshly made, while the dip had such a nice kick of spice! I love spice. I had the 3 taco asadas, and they were able to sub out the beans for more rice instead. It was really good and they packed it with the asada which I really appreciated. I also had a horchata. That drink was one of my faves! I love how it was perfectly sweetened and it was smooth, not grainy at all. The cup was as huge as my face too, which was shockers, because it was a really good portion. Anyway, the service was awesome! Our waitress was friendly, and easy to talk to. Our waiter was kind and accommodated our group of 7. The food came out so fast and was all freshly made. Best table salsa in the state? I wouldn't be surprised. The chips and salsa are already on the table when you sit down, but the chips are fresh and the salsa is nice and chilled, and spicy! The ceviche is next-level, truly it's the best ceviche I've had at a restaurant, hands-down. And the tostadas they serve the ceviche with are delicious and made right in-shop. I had the opportunity to come here with a large group, so I was able to sample a lot of the entrees. Everything exceeded my expectations in terms of flavor. The shredded beef in the Burrito de Desebrada was soft, easy to eat, and tasted like it had been marinating for days. The sauce on the Enchiladas de Pollo was delicious. The meat in the Parrillada de Guadalajara was extremely tender and addictive. The Carne Asada was like a real authentic carne asada made on the grill. The Caldo de Cameron y Pescado had a generous portion of fish and came out hot and steaming. The chilies that the parrillada and carne asada were served with were authentic and mouth-exploding spicy. The margs also are cold, taste great, and are strong. The service is attentive and on top of things. The staff all walk around with a earpiece so they can all communicate, that's something I don't think I've seen before. This place was excellent! We were looking for a Mexican food restaurant to eat at on our way home. I looked on Yelp and noticed that this place not only had a lot of reviews, but they were almost 5 stars. I was really excited to try it out knowing that it got such great reviews. When we pulled up, we noticed that the restaurant itself was very small. They added on a covered section in order to have more "indoor" seating. This covered area was nice for not being a permanent part of the physical building. They have installed heaters inside which made it feel comfortable. We were seated right away and served complimentary salsa and warm chips. I love when restaurants take the time to warm up their chips. The salsa was spicy, but so good! Our server greeted us right away and took our drink order. Everything on the menu looked delicious. I ended up ordering a house margarita and a combination plate with a smothered bean burrito, an enchilada, and a soft chile rellano. I loved the green chile!
