a burrito cut in half

We kept seeing this taco truck and one day I saw a huge line! I decided to try it out. I am from Arizona so my expectations are very high but this was worth it! Johnathan was a great host and made an excellent steak burrito and tacos. I can't wait to try the rest of the food!!!

Tacos asada, al pastor, and chorizo

I can guarantee that every single person has their own favorite taco place. I can also guarantee that debating where to get the best tacos in the Twin Cities is as heated as the 2020 debates. While I can't say that Tacos Tacuba has the best tacos in the Twin Cities, I can say that they do have some pretty damn tasty tacos. Since it is a food truck, the menu is pared down compared to a brick and mortar location, but that doesn't mean that Tacos Tacuba skimps on the pure variety of their dishes. From tacos, to tortas, to gringas, to gorditas with prensado de chicharron, Tacos Tacuba really does feel like authentic Mexican food from the streets of Mexico City transplanted to Burnsville. I tried their gorditas de prensado de chicharron, which was pretty tasty but not really my style. I do love tacos though, and their tacos were amazing! I tried the chorizo, the asada, the al pastor, and the cochinta pibil. They were all flavorful and huge, and generous for the price! The chorizo in particular had a really nice sweet smokiness that I hadn't found in other chorizos. There also aren't too many places that have cochinta pibil, which is a slow roasted shredded pork seasoned with a variety of spices. Tacos Tacuba did it so well, I'm tempted to go back just for the cochinta pibil. They also provide green or red hot sauce, and the hot is HOT. I'm talking sweat down your brow hot. The tacos do come with some raw sliced beets, which I guess if you like beets, it's great? I could do without. The staff are super friendly, and they work to get your order out as soon as possible. You do have to wait, sometimes up to 30 minutes if there's a few orders in front of you, but you can definitely wait in your car if the weather isn't that good. There are a few stools to sit and eat if you prefer too. Tacos Tacuba might be my new favorite taco spot, and it's a welcome addition to the south metro.

It wasn't there. And I'm so hungry! The directions took me to a gas station??? Really bummed out.

The Asada was full of flavor, not too greasy and the burrito was packed.

I placed my order in person at the restaurant at 5:47 p.m. and didn't receive my food until 6:20…read morep.m. During that time, not a single employee acknowledged me or gave any update on my order. A few of the workers kept looking in my direction, so I assumed my order would be ready soon, and the restaurant was pretty busy, but that wasn't the case. I even walked to Speedway next door, came back, and my food still wasn't ready. I watched multiple DoorDash drivers come in, wait briefly, and leave with their orders, many of which were fulfilled before mine. I had only ordered six tacos, yet I waited over 30 minutes, along with several other dine-in customers who also seemed to be waiting a long time. On top of the wait and lack of communication, the tacos themselves were disappointing--mostly packed with cilantro and barely filled with steak. It was disappointing to see online orders consistently prioritized over guests who took the time to come in and order directly. I've never experienced that kind of service imbalance at a restaurant before.

Like crusty edges off the grill going on someone plate or old dry meat being used that you won't want to eat but your trying not to be wasteful so your customer can take it to go so they won't complain in your face! I know the trick of trade in the food industry! Quite sad but please do better at your establishment several times I have gotten old or mediocre food stop rushing for the people who think they want their food fast and slow down and do it right please it will be better and bring in more wealth!

Delicious street tacos that are only $2 each on Taco Tuesdays! The corn tortillas are fresh and the…read moretacos are loaded with onions and cilantro. The steak asada tacos are my favorite -- the beef is perfectly salted and so flavorful. I also enjoyed the chicken tinga tacos, which has a tomato-based adobo sauce. The barbacoa tacos were juicy but I would've liked a little more salt. Don't miss the condiment area, where you can get lime wedges and mild, medium, and hot salsas. The mild salsa wasn't spicy at all and added nice flavor to the tacos. The medium salsa isn't that spicy if you have a spice tolerance. The hot salsa is more hot than flavorful. Food is made quickly and service is friendly.

This is the food spot we eat at the most hands down. At least 2-4 times a month. I love the food. Their Tinga is sooo good. I ordered a side of their rice the other day (because I love it in my burritos) and oh my gosh that was amazing. But the staff don't even fill up my cup full of rice . It was only like 80% full. Felt like I got ripped off a bit, for the cost. I also really wish they would look into adding more menu options. We need queso here, I bet they could make an amazing queso. I also wish they had a salsa specifically for chips. Their sauces/salsas are great, but only on food. Not great with chips. Overall - still great. Go eat here. Service is slower than before. Prices have gone up. Wish they had queso and a salsa for chips specifically. Wish I got a full cup of rice when I order a side of rice, considering how expensive the rice is.

Shoutout to Yelp for introducing me to Los Mangos!!! I absolutely loved grabbing dinner here!…read more As part of Yelp Elite week, I received a mini mangonada with chamoy & tajin. I also got mini pancakes drizzled with white chocolate, Nutella and topped with bananas and strawberries. Both were so yummy and the perfect amount for a quick snack For dinner, I ordered the al pastor sopes platter with rice and beans and felt like a meal my friend's Mexican grandmother would make! What blew me away most was how fresh everything tasted, coupled with the large portions. The tacos and tortillas are hand made (hechos a mano) and that made a world of a difference. I love supporting small businesses because you always taste the extra love your food was made with. I've frequented Que Taco and after learning that the family owned, mother-daughter duo are the same owners of this place, it all made sense. They have a very friendly staff and I would definitely recommend to family and friends who are in the area!

Followed up by the best homemade and seasoned tortilla chips ive ever had with fresh guacamole... i do have to say the chip to guacamole ratio could be balanced a lil bit better cause your girl is a big dipper!
