Feel I need to update this review. Tried a burrito this time. It was hearty packed full of meat. Carnitas here is good. Like the fact they are close by.

Fried shrimp tacos are truly delicious

Fantastic find while in town for a sports tournament!…read more My family and I were in town for a sports tournament, looked up highly-recommended Mexican spots on Yelp, and Miguel's popped up. When we arrived, we discovered it is actually located inside a Mexican market, which is always a great sign for authentic food! We ordered three super burritos, drinks, and an order of chips and guacamole. We dined inside their nicely renovated dining area while we waited. The food was absolutely fantastic--the super burritos were massive and made with high-quality ingredients, and the guacamole was phenomenal. The staff and cooks were incredibly nice, attentive, and welcoming. We left completely full and made sure to thank them for the superb food. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town for a tournament. Thank you to the staff for a job well done!

We went about 6 PM so not sure if going to a different time would've made a difference. The service was pretty good. There was only two people working. The gal that helped us didn't know how to add my points to their point system and had some issues with the register, she was OK. My wife has the chicken tacos I had the asada. We both left Mexican food, and we both feel that we are very fair when it comes to the food value and the taste. As far as the taste, the meat tacos were a little rough and gum like, probably from sitting out too long. The chicken tacos actually fell apart as my wife was eating them, and the chicken was very, very overcooked so again, probably sitting too long inside the burner. They do not have the right ABC license so you can't drink alcohol and eat hair even though you're sitting inside a liquor store. Overall an okay place, there's so many selections of Mexican food in Clovis, this one was so so.

This place is officially bookmarked for every future drive through Fresno!…read more The lengua and chicharrón tacos were honestly some of the best I've ever had. I also sampled the carnitas on top of crispy taco shells as well. The meat was incredibly tender, juicy, and packed with flavor, and the tortillas came out hot, fresh, and perfectly cooked. Every bite reminded me why simple food done right is hard to beat. I was hoping to try the mojara frita, menudo, and barbacoa, only to find out the menudo and barbacoa are weekend only specialties. Needless to say, I was pretty disappointed, but it also gives me a great reason to come back. What really stood out, beyond the food, was the hospitality. David, who appears to have been running the place for over 20 years, was incredibly charismatic and provided the kind of customer service that seems harder and harder to find these days. You can tell he genuinely cares about both the restaurant and the people who walk through the door. One of my favorite parts of the visit was when I saw the owner come out and greet the regulars and customers. The interactions felt sincere and heartfelt, not forced. There was a real sense of community here, as if customers weren't just patrons but part of an extended family. That kind of atmosphere is special and says a lot about the people behind the business. Great food, warm hospitality, and a welcoming environment--I'll definitely be back, hopefully on a weekend next time.

It felt like the kind of spot where you actually want to sit and stay awhile with your family or friends. The food was comforting and flavorful. The Birria consommé had rich, deep flavor that tasted like it had been simmering for hours, and the Birria tacos were crispy, cheesy, and satisfying. The rice and beans were delicious and the sauces to die for. Everything on the plate felt fresh and homemade. And the beer setup with the lime and salt rim? Perfect on a warm day. Cold, refreshing, and honestly just looked great too. What really stood out was the overall vibe. The staff seemed friendly and upbeat, and the place had an easygoing energy that made the whole meal more enjoyable. You can tell this is a local spot people genuinely enjoy coming back to.

Ordered my food and went to find a seat inside. I noticed the inside wasn't clean much, it was spilled food on the floor & as much empty tables that were available inside the tables were not wiped. I sat outside to avoid having to wipe the table or step on food. Finding a table outside I noticed 3 tables that were full of food/trash. Their condiments table area could've been more cleaned. I noticed the small cups to put sauces were dirty, I had to pick through to find a clean container for my sauces. The lid of the storage for the condiments itself was broken and the area wasn't attended to enough. Sauces were very low & overall messy. While trying to pour my sauces in a very very small container I had to hold the broken lid and swat off flies. That's a lot of work for my green sauce. Our food came out quickly with our drinks. I ordered the 3 street chicken tacos, for my drink I ordered the Guavarita. My friend ordered 3 street chicken & asada tacos & the Mango chilli drink. We both enjoyed the street tacos & both drinks were delicious. This is my second time coming to this location. My first visit was at night. They had a live dj, the place was packed but overall clean and attended to. Overall in the future I may just ordered my food to go if I'm in the area. The food is good it's just the upkeep of keeping areas clean that puts me off from sitting and enjoying my food.

They season its original home made. Their food reminds me my mother's cooking. She has the same touch and their food tastes like hers. So that is why I love coming here. They also have bottles imported drinks from Mexico. The service it's casual as you come to the counter and order. If you stay they will call you and you would pick up and go to your table and eat. Your cloud base website area is no longer connected, there is nolink to your page to take you to the menu to order. It took to long to maneuver thru your webiste, and still could not locate a area to review menu and order ahead. So I passed unfortunatley as a customer within a large organization right around the corner from your new store. The chance of employees going to the store to order rather than preorder & pickup is not ideal for lunch crowd. Unfortunate, I would suggest you get the site fixed or present it to the online customer. Rather than foot traffic. Walkin customers have hours to order and eat at lunch. Employees maybe have 30-45 minutes to order, wait, drive back...not ideal it's too bad. I went to McDonalds instead.
