18 tacos; 3 asada, pollo, adobado, cabeza, carnitas, tripa. 10 cups with at least one of each sauce.

I have heard about this taco truck spot for years. I finally decided to go search for it on my way back home from a long days worth of work out of town. When I arrived (9:00PM), parking (ambience) was plentiful and easy and ordering was simple enough. It's am empty lot, so it is what it is. I ordered 18 tacos; 3 of everything: asada, pollo, adobado, cabeza, carnitas, tripa. I was given 10 sauce cups and was able to get at least one of each sauce... the red and green sauce were really low and there were only enough for one of each, but that's fine and I didn't but probably could have asked for a restocking of sauce, but then again it IS late (9:00PM). I even took home one small bag of pickled onions, one small bag of the flavored grilled pepper and onions. I was so hungry and ready to dig in when I got home... that when I did, I devoured 2 plates and experimented with each sauce and flavors for the asada, trips, and pollo with the missus. Tacos = 6/5 Sauces = 5/5, that habanero sauce! Everything was delicious, it was the bomb. What an experience of flavors. I went ahead and had 1 taco of every meat and immediately I realized the spot lives up to it's reputation. I hate to say it, as I have had a lot of tacos around town... but this is likely now the best tacos I've had in town.

I drive a long distance for this old love of mine. Circa 2015:)

Still my all time FAVORITE taco truck in Fresno!!! I fell in love since 2015. I don't even care what others think, their food is always fresh, heavy with many customers that are already waiting once you get there. They have carne asada, TRIPAS, cabeza, adobada and carnitas. Not too many trucks offer tripas so this is the place to order them and ask for them to be cooked crispy. The creamy HABANERO salsa is to die for! It's pretty spicy and flavorful as I get a good kick of garlic and onion in it. There's also a guacamole salsa, original red and green salsa. They offer grilled chilis and onions, pickled carrots and onions. All their condiments and sides are self serve. They're located on a vacant dirt lot on Marty and Ashlan right off Highway 99. It's a dusty dirty trench so don't come with your nice shoes. Surely a diamond in the rough.

    Hair in our food

There was quick service, but unfortunately we found hair in our food. The food was alright, but the food could have been much better. If your really hungry get it, but if you want quality Mexican food go somewhere else

More than 50% of the filling was shredded cabbage.

Nothing lasts forever. Reminiscing when there was two men and a woman running this small taco truck. The meat was marinated and grilled to perfection, the habanero salsa was actually spicy and served warm because it was freshly made! I don't know what happened after all these years, but I'm so sad to suggest that you DO NOT waste your money here. The taco meats are bland, the salsas add nothing to the tasteless meat because they have ZERO kick and the prices are just not worth it at all.

The food lacks flavor and they put more cabbage in their food vs meat. The meat is greasy and very small portions.

Ordered a taco of Tripas, it was so disgusting. Meat seemed to be 3 days old. Dark, rubbery and fowl. Was not edible.

Is the brick and mortar shop going to open? that has been coming soon for over a year.

    Do they take debit?

    Yes! Debit and credit.

    Where are they located?

    ashlan and marty

    When are they open?

Everyday after 5 pm, except Monday and Thursday. Holidays excluded, depending on what holiday...

How can I find out where and when this place will be? Is it Only a taco truck and do they-move around or do they have a regular spot? Or do they also have a restaurant?

It's one spot on ashlan and marty, but they are switching locations in November to Clinton and Brawley near O'Reillys

I don't think I've ever felt betrayed by Yelp reviews...until now…read more During a recent road trip we stopped here to picked up some lunch/dinner because tacos are quick and easy and their Yelp rating is high. Location/services: Upon entering the building I immediately noticed the heat. It was a hot 98 degree day and the restaurant felt like an oven and was maybe 3-5 degree cooler than it was outside. I then quickly noticed this was a very simple operation (almost like a food truck), and not much to the menu, but there were folks sitting and eating and a few others waiting to order, so I assumed the food must be great. We ordered 4 meals (tacos with rice/beans) which was meant to be eaten there but after waiting in line and feeling like we were in a hot box, we decided to make it to go. We sat and waited for our food (about 20 mins), we chatted and observed our surroundings and it became very apparent the restaurant was not maintained with basic cleaning because it was very grimy and just plain dirty. I then used the restroom and it was absolutely disgusting. Our ordered was called and the staff was very nice. The food: As I mentioned, we got 4 orders of tacos (all carne asada) with rice/beans, and we asked for salsa and limes. We got grilled jalapenos, lemons and one sandwhich baggy filled with red salsa. Not a big deal. The meat was fine but the tortillas were inedible. They were tough, flavorless, and greasy. The bean and rice were ok. We ate enough to curb our hunger but none of us finish our food. Upon my best judgement, I had convinced myself that the food was gonna be great because their Yelp rating told me so. I was so wrong! One last note, there was nothing here that resembled a bakery/panaderia. So if you think you could also grab a treat here, you are wrong.

What could have been a disappointing surprise turned into one of the best local dining experiences we've had in a long time. We had the pleasure of meeting Miguel himself, and his hospitality immediately stood out. He took the time to introduce us to several items on the menu and encouraged us to try a little bit of everything. I'm glad he did. The red beans and rice were absolutely phenomenal, and every single thing we tasted was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with pride. You can tell Miguel genuinely cares about both the food and the people he serves. What impressed me most wasn't just the food--it was the atmosphere. Miguel has a gift for making you feel welcome. His heart for hospitality is second to none, and it's obvious that serving great food and creating a great experience are his top priorities. If you're looking for a hidden gem in Clovis, this is it. Whether you're stopping in to catch a game, grab a meal with friends, or enjoy a simple flip-flop date night with your spouse, Miguel's is worth the visit. My sister introduced me to this place, and I'm actually waiting on her to come back to visit so that we can take another trip back together (it's been a minute)! It's got diner vibes to me. Booths, seats at the front counter facing the kitchen, and a few more tables in the center. It's not the most aesthetic restaurant but... it's on the corner of Blackstone & Dakota-- lol I didn't expect it to be. Friendly staff. Great chefs. Service is always good/quick. We've never waited long to have our orders taken or to receive our food. Now... those enchiladas! They're the closest thing to the type of enchiladas my best friend's mama makes (she's from Michoacan)-- she makes the best, most authentic Mexican food! SO, when I can't get them from her... I know where to go. They are cheese enchiladas-- served with lettuce, tomatoes, avocados, and sour cream.. sprinkled with cotija cheese. They also come with some bomb potatoes and your choice of chicken or steak-- we always go steak. Sooo good and the flavors are always on point! + They give complimentary chips and salsa-- very good. We use that same salsa for the enchis. Pair it with a crisp coke, chef's kiss! If it wasn't obvious, it's a yes from me. This little hole-in-the-wall family-run business needs more recognition!
