I have heard about this taco truck spot for years. I finally decided to go search for it on my way back home from a long days worth of work out of town. When I arrived (9:00PM), parking (ambience) was plentiful and easy and ordering was simple enough. It's am empty lot, so it is what it is. I ordered 18 tacos; 3 of everything: asada, pollo, adobado, cabeza, carnitas, tripa. I was given 10 sauce cups and was able to get at least one of each sauce... the red and green sauce were really low and there were only enough for one of each, but that's fine and I didn't but probably could have asked for a restocking of sauce, but then again it IS late (9:00PM). I even took home one small bag of pickled onions, one small bag of the flavored grilled pepper and onions. I was so hungry and ready to dig in when I got home... that when I did, I devoured 2 plates and experimented with each sauce and flavors for the asada, trips, and pollo with the missus. Tacos = 6/5 Sauces = 5/5, that habanero sauce! Everything was delicious, it was the bomb. What an experience of flavors. I went ahead and had 1 taco of every meat and immediately I realized the spot lives up to it's reputation. I hate to say it, as I have had a lot of tacos around town... but this is likely now the best tacos I've had in town. read more

I don't even care what others think, their food is always fresh, heavy with many customers that are already waiting once you get there. They have carne asada, TRIPAS, cabeza, adobada and carnitas. Not too many trucks offer tripas so this is the place to order them and ask for them to be cooked crispy. The creamy HABANERO salsa is to die for! It's pretty spicy and flavorful as I get a good kick of garlic and onion in it. There's also a guacamole salsa, original red and green salsa. They offer grilled chilis and onions, pickled carrots and onions. All their condiments and sides are self serve. They're located on a vacant dirt lot on Marty and Ashlan right off Highway 99. The meat was marinated and grilled to perfection, the habanero salsa was actually spicy and served warm because it was freshly made! My bf & I have been coming here for years...I don't know what's changed, but sadly it's not the same :( The quality has just seemed to go down in both the food and customer service. 1. They no longer have the condiments outside so you can fix your own tacos/food. They also didn't have guac- that's a must for me. 2. The guy who helped us was very rude when we asked a question. I'm not sure if I just came at a bad time, but 1am on a Friday night is usually prime time for taco trucks from my experience. I honestly can't figure out how this place has so many positive reviews. My nachos were mostly chips with nothing on them, and I couldn't taste anything but salt. SO SALTY. They also looked like they just had a square piece of cheese melted over lazily. My boyfriend got a torta and a taco. He said the taco was okay but the torta was bland and small. At almost two dollars a taco this was absurd. I have been coming to this place since it opened up. Therefore, I've been coming here for MANY YEARS. Never once have I experienced anything bad at this place that is up until today. I went in like normal with my friend and we ordered 3 asada tacos with everything and a burrito with no cabbage and no cheese. The young man who took our order was great, he even chuckled at the no cheese and we had a laugh amongst each other but he got my order right and took it down. I get my food and everything is great and I'm eating my burrito that was also my first meal of the day and I'm halfway through my burrito and I finally look down and I see what could possibly be cheese.....I take the tortilla apart to find the entire tortilla with cheese. Either way no big deal, I asked my friend if she could go and let them know and she does, only to see my friend turn back around with an upset face and tells me that the lady at the front (who's name is Miriam who is sister to the owner) was severely rude and she didn't feel comfortable saying anything further so I'm confused at this point because I don't understand why someone would be rude about that so I then get down to go and talk to her to let her know that there's cheese in my burrito and she instantly goes GIRL PLEASE DID YOU NOT KNOW THERE WAS CHEESE IN THERE and I said no I didn't because I asked for none therefore I trusted that you wouldn't put any in there. She then continued going off about how it was all my fault that I ate a burrito with cheese when she's the one who made the mistake in the first place. The argument became so severe that I was forced to also partake and ended up calling her a dumb B*** because she was being severely disrespectful FOR NO REASON and kept trying to make it seem like it was MY fault for eating a burrito that had something I specifically said NOT to put in there. What really had me shook was the severe lack of respect when we were extremely polite nor were we looking for a refund just a simple acknowledgement of the mistake would've been suffice. I have not consumed Dairy in MANY YEARS as I am ALLERGIC and lactose intolerant, which I also communicated to Miriam because she laughed in my face saying "who doesn't eat cheese" as if it was any of her business in the first place. I could've literally ended up in the hospital or even worse BLOWING UP A RANDOM TOILET!!! Maybe her fat ass should worry more about what she consumes more often and maybe she wouldn't be so incompetent and overweight instead of judging people for shit they can't eat. It was even more surprising to find out that this is the owners sister because I couldn't believe that she would jeopardize her sister's great food business by the EXTREME CONFRONTATIONAL service that MIRIAM provided. The parking is pretty decent since there is a big dirt field next to where they park so advice parking there So the pricing is normal nothing crazy and trust me when I say this...it's worth every penny The asada meat is juicy and they are pretty quick with getting orders out. The salsa set is pretty cool as well and they give u ramekin cups to go depending on how many tacos you get from what I'm assuming! The employees are cool also and polite and not rude like some trucks are. They are pretty busy because of their rep and that they have amazing tacos so make sure you aren't in a hurry because you will wait a little bit but the wait is worth it! I would always pass by and wonder why it was so packed. Tried going one time around 10p and it was super packed and decided I'd have to try it when there was less people. Today was the day. I decided to give it a try with my husband to see why everyone was standing in a small area and waiting for these tacos! Out of ten the tacos are 7/10 - there was no napkins in the bag but there was a great selection of salsas and the tacos were pretty packed. I had ordered a plate of 6 and was full by taco number 3. I was afraid the tacos were gonna be tiny but they're a decent size and will certainly fill you up. The wait was a little while. These tacos are not to die for, the taco meat was a tad bit dry; but they sure are good enough to continue to come back for a quick craving of some decent tacos.
