Instead, I was told I needed a separate police request. When I tried to explain the discrepancy and clarify my options, the representative cut me off and said, "Let me tell you where you have chosen not to listen," which immediately set the tone. He then claimed the cameras wouldn't be helpful due to their height and low resolution--again, the opposite of what Trader Joe's staff had told me, based on multiple recent incidents where license plates were successfully identified. As I continued asking reasonable questions, the conversation became increasingly hostile. I stated I would call back if needed, and he responded by saying I was not allowed to call again and that he would file harassment charges against me if I did, claiming it was because I had called "so many times." That is simply not true--my call log reflects that I called once, waited four days, and then called a second time. The lack of consistency, professionalism, and basic courtesy here is unacceptable. This was a straightforward request following a serious incident, and it was handled poorly from start to finish.
