I stopped by here at Tactical Pro Shop this evening and I am very satisfied with my experience. Firstly, when I called on the phone, the person who answered whom I assume was the owner was pretty firm with his speech. Not sure if he's always like that, but I didn't really take it as rudeness. To me it sounded like the guy has been there for 20 years of experience and knows what you're looking for and goes straight to the point; no time wasted. If you're someone who wants to be spoken to like a child, go somewhere else crybaby. Secondly, they had exactly what I was looking for. A holster and gun belt for my 4.5 Echelon with a TLR-1 HL-X light attachment. The holster fits pretty good for the price. I'm pretty happy with it. It's not perfect, but that's because the Echelon is just now getting popular, so manufacturers will eventually make more things for the Echelon later down the road. Not a fault of the store; they had exactly what I needed. Thirdly, I wasn't going to write a review, but the young gentleman that helped me out, (handsome Persian guy), with my shopping. When I paid for everything and left the shop, he ran down the block and caught me before I drove away and handed me the tools for my new gun belt I purchased. They could have just allowed me to move on with my day; I didn't even know the tools came with it, but that made me want to write something for this business. The owner of the place has had it for 23 or so years. I like his straightforward approach. No singing or dancing around the topic. Like I said, if you want to be treated like a princess, go to a restaurant and bother a waitress. Come here for real business. Thank you 3 gentlemen that helped me. Not only did he tell me he had it, he said he'll give me a discount because he was selling a similar light for a cheaper price. I cannot say enough good things about this store. The owner, I think it's Matt, has helped me before, he is awesome. Really tailored service. Today Davis helped me out. Store was pretty slammed and he was able to help me find the holster I needed with the accessories I run. They have blue guns for everything I've needed. They'll let you try the holster on, play with retention, concealment, all the things. Which really goes such a long way for me. So many options on line but when you can try it on and feel how it works with your setup and your belly, I mean body, it helps me to be confident that I'm going to like what I get. Really cannot say enough good things. You have to be a little understanding and have a bit of time if you really want to find the right thing. They will work with you. Davis was building a gun belt for another guy, while recommending options for me, helping solve a light mount for a shotgun while Joseph(I think) was checking people out, helping others. Seems like they really like their jobs and problem solving with customers. Service like this is hard to find these days and I really appreciate how far they go to make sure you're happy. I don't feel like I was being pressured to buy things. Just shown what options they have. For as many different configurations as there can be out there with guns and accessories, their stock is really impressive. It's not a huge store and they manage to have a ton of configurations and colors. Speaking specifically about holsters but that's what I've shopped here for the most. A previous patron left a negative review and complained about the Confederate flag patches on display in store. This complaint was a year ago, and the owner responded back apologizing disregarding it as a "mistake that has been fixed". Fast forward to now, a year later, and these patches as well as thin blue line patches are still on display. The owner clearly supports these groups through offering to service them. Places like this make me glad I shop for knifes in brick and mortar stores vs online. I just had one of the best shopping experiences in a long time. Shelby was very patient and very knowledgeable. He allowed me to see more than half of their knifes, while I pondered my selection. Any question I had he was able to answer, and never once rushed me. I had a very pleasant conversation with him, and felt he was excellent in helping my wife select a new benchmade for her EDC. Never was he pushy, or showed any prejudice to the fact that she was a woman shopping for "big boy toys", something that she has encountered at other places. Thank you for the respect you showed to my wife and myself. That respect you showed my wife has earned you my business for life. I came in wanting to purchase a spyderco delica. I wanted to spend around $100, but after receiving such great service, I figured I might as well treat myself at a great business. I received an amazing deal for the pink griptillian, and my 940 Osborne, (which they even special ordered for me.) They even threw in a bit of paracord so I could make a lanyard for the knifes. About 3-4 months ago I ordered a hat and a shirt. I got the shirt but never received the hat. I emailed the owner and he said it may have been lost threw the post office because it said on the tracking it had been delivered. So he said call the post office and see if they have it. They did not now anything about it. I emailed the owner again and he did not respond. Here I am with out a credit or a hat. The least he could have done is give me a credit or simply send me a new hat. I hope this doesn't happen you anybody else. This is why I'm giving a 1 star review. read more
