I'm sorry to be "that person", but your girl needs to vent. I've got my lashes done for years now, and even though my Lash tech was super sweet, I have to say these are the worst lashes I've ever had done... I had a special occasion, and I ended up being late to dinner because of how much I hated my lashes. I tried putting fake glue on lashes just because how unhappy I was... but that looked even worse because of how thick the lashes are. The lashes look nothing like my inspo pics. I wanted fluffy cat eye lashes that were longer and thicker at the ends to really get that sensual eye look, but instead I got clumpy, thick, heavy, spiky, caterpillar lashes, that are the same length, & are not at ALL "cat eye" lashes. I literally wanted to cry and it ruined my whole evening.. especially after paying a hefty amount, almost $300 and taking a little more than 3 hrs of my day, I definitely had to make a review because of unhappy I am. I don't have the time to go back to the business to get them redone, and it's probably not going to look the way that I want them to look anyways so now I'm just gonna have to look ugly for a month with these lashes that are hammajang. read more

Stopped by to celebrate Taesthetics 3rd Anniversary and give myself a little graduation gift for finally finishing my Master's degree so I got my brows threaded with Ilihia which I'm not gonna lie I was a bit nervous about since I had only seen Kui for my brows since I started coming to Taesthetics which has been about 2 years now. But those nerves went away real fast by the time she was done since this was the first time she's ever done my brows she wanted to make sure she was thorough so she did some mapping to see if that would be the shape I'm okay with and always letting me know what she was doing before starting anything new like tweezing to get my smaller hairs out or even using a razor on some parts to make sure my brow shape was defined. Plus she was so funny and nice to talk to so I honestly wouldn't mind seeing her again if Kui isn't available. On top of that I also got the Glow Refresh facial with Sabrina and I promise I could've taken a nap during the facial because it felt that relaxing. Also loved that she did go over what she was gonna be doing before starting the facial. Some time after I got home I noticed that the usual little bumps that I felt under my chin no matter what I did were smooth (and they still are today) and none of the exfoliators Sabrina used felt too harsh on my skin so I'd definitely recommend seeing her too! read more

Went to Sammy twice for brow lamination and have loved it! The results last much longer than my DIY kit :) Brows are even and her attention to detail is great. You can tell that nothing is rushed--brow mapping, trim, shaping, treatment, threading (or waxing if you choose that). You also go home with a kit which includes the castor oil and olaplex treatment, which really helps to nourish the brows. It's a bit pricey, but highly worth it. read more

If I could give it more than five stars I would! Shalia did my full set of wet lashes as well as my very first dermaplane facial! Oh my goodness, I am 43 years old and I've never had any facial or any work done on my face at all, but let me tell you just this facial made my skin look at least 10 years younger! Got a lash lift and brow shaping about two months ago - loved the results and wanted to refresh before the holidays. Also saw their free dry brush with Brazilian wax promo so figured I'd do all three! I had Sam for my Brazilian and Sam for my lash lift and brow wax lol. Sam was super friendly and excited for the Brazilian. She even offered to show me the strips! Weird for some but I loved it! Super satisfying to see how well the wax pulled not only the hair but the bulbs as well! Temperature was perfect and she was very communicative, checking in to see how I was doing. She even asked if I preferred her counting before pulling or if I wanted her to just pull. The lash lift this time was different than the last time I got one and were done by two different girls. There was some irritation in my eye towards the end but Sam helped me get rid of it quickly. And the results?!! Crazy lift!! Looks like I used a curler and mascara! Love it!! The lift lasted as long as they said it would. It was when new lashes grew in that were straight is when I knew it was time to go back. The brow wax was great, showed my results from last time for reference. When I asked for more shaping to be done in a specific area, she was able to see what I was talking about and address it. The next day they also checked in to make sure everything was going good. I've given this place multiple chances over time because it's convenient and I always hoped my experience would improve, but unfortunately I've never left completely satisfied. My most recent visit was especially disappointing. The technician removed almost the entire tail of my right eyebrow, leaving my brows noticeably uneven. It takes a long time to grow eyebrow hair back, so this was really frustrating. I expected a simple cleanup, but much more hair was removed than I was comfortable with. I'm not a confrontational person, so I didn't say much in the moment, but after looking at my brows at home I was genuinely unhappy with the result. After several visits with similar dissatisfaction, I don't think I'll be returning. I hope they take more care with eyebrow shaping and listen closely to what clients are asking for. read more

SABRINA DID SO GOOD! I went in with ultra untamed brows, haven't had a wax or tweezed in over a year. Sabrina went over the process clearly, i was comfy and cozy during the whole process, it was AC'd and she made sure to ask how i was doing. The waxing was so painless, i didn't feel a thing. And normally my skin is sensitive after waxing my brows but i wasn't even red or itchy! Now the after portion, LEMME TELL YOU. SABRINA MADE MY BROWS LOOK SO CRISP AND CLEAN (I got the brow lamination and wax), like i can't stop looking at myself in the mirror. And her colleagues came over to see and all of them were complimenting how good they came out. My brows still look pristine as if it was right after i got them done. I really didn't want to write this review, but my eyebrows have not been the same since my visit, and I honestly hate how they turned out. I looked all over yelp of eyebrow places and this place had good reviews but I left extremely disappointed. I went to this salon right before a trip, after growing my eyebrows out so they could be shaped professionally. I now remember why I always do them myself. I have very thick eyebrows and told the lady that I wanted to keep the thickness and just have them cleaned up. Instead, they ended up extremely thin, uneven, and completely different shapes. One side even missing half an eyebrow. I don't wear makeup or know how to fill in my brows, so I went on my trip with barely any eyebrows, and it honestly ruined every photo I took. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and a bit humiliating. I felt like everyone there was staring at me and judging me. The girl doing my brows made small talk and asked me personal questions, only to ignore my answers and change the subject mid conversation, it just came off rude and fake. What really bothered me was that she knew she messed up because she tried to smooth things over by giving me castor oil for regrowth and a "student discount." I should've spoken up, but I tend to be too nice when someone's providing a service. Still, this experience was genuinely terrible I cried in my car afterward. read more
