If I can give sissy a 1000 stars I would! She's very kind hearted and overall an amazing person. You can see how much passion she has in what she does and for her to be able to share her knowledge with others is awesome! I recently took her course 1 day work shop and beginners course. She explains how a typical appointment would be like from the time the client walks in until they walk out the door. She went in depth about the anatomy of the skin, technique, color theory, different needles and depth, and different pressures, different ways of shading/outlining, how to take before & after and the entire process of mapping etc) Coming from someone who has no experience with a machine, never had any background in beauty, I walked out the first class feeling confident in myself that it is possible for me to do this. Before I left she had me practice on latex which I gave her a full set of eyebrows which surprised myself and sissy. Shortly after I left I practiced and practiced day in and day out & let me tell you my first sheet of latex was not that great (but as expected as someone who has no experience) I texted sissy a photo and asked for her advice and within minutes she's replies with tips for me on how to better my work. It was too saturated, you can tell my pressure in some areas was heavy & the pixels was not there. After following her tips, the next set I did was much better than before. Moral of the story for this is that there is infinite support with sissy. She wants to see every student succeed in this industry. I had a demo day we're sissy shows me exactly what goes on. I'm a visual learner, so seeing how it's done from start to finish really put things in perspective of what to expect during an appointment. 7/16/21 I had my model day and I was beyond nervous, but she calmed me down and was encouraging me that I can do this and I believed her. I felt at ease knowing she was there supervising me. I'm gonna post photos of my two models below and this will show you that will the right instructor and the amount of time you put in yourself to get better every day, this is the outcome! Sissy is a great mentor and I am so happy I went with her. She believes in you as a person and upcoming artist even when you don't. Just completed the ombré powdered brow training with Sissy this morning and throughout the whole experience with training and my first model not showing and having to reschedule with a new model. Has been by far the best experience I've had with taking a training course. She is so knowledgeable, sweet & kind and I'm so glad I was recommended by a friend from beauty school to take her training. From the first day to the last day and being in contact with her after and being so supportive and genuinely loving makes this experience one I won't forget! I recently just took the Hyaluronic Pen Beginner & Advanced course with Marley. She is the owner of MpressBeauty and I can't even explain how much it was a life changing course for me. Marley is such an amazing teacher, she answers all of your questions with ease, and gives you all the knowledge you need to succeed. I feel so confident after taking her class. It was not only super informative, it was FUN! You also get a cute starter kit with supplies! It was very clean, I felt extremely comfortable in her class even though right now we're dealing with Covid-19 restrictions. I also decided to get .5 infusion done on my lips and she's seriously a pro. My lips came out so nice! Would recommend 10/10 read more

A trusted friend referred me to Sissy and I'm so pleased with my results! This was my first time ever having any type of work done so I was pretty nervous. I went in this morning and got my eyebrows done by Sissy. She was knowledgeable and I felt like she went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I am writing this review on behalf of taking beginners & advance Hyaluron Pen & Mesotherapy courses with @Mpressbeauty known as Marley back in 11/2020. Due to Covid-19 there's just been such limitations for everyone, so it's been rough for me to get started on this journey & as well as being a new mommy again after many years to my only baby girl. I spend half an hour doing my eyebrows everyday but now I don't need to because of sissy's magic hands. I was really amazed! I just did powder brows yesterday and I'm loving it. How much more when it's completely healed?? If only I can pull the days for my 2nd procedure. i felt so comfortable with sissy. She's really sweet and very professional. Today I took a PMU course with Sissy which was an amazing experience. She just makes you feel so comfortable and she is someone that is driven and passionate in what she does and also gives her love and energy in teaching her student's what her passion in this industry is all about and so much more. She is just beautiful in and out. I love being her student and I would highly and definitely recommend anyone who's thinking of taking any of her courses or wanting any of the services that she provides to go for it! Just went in for my touch up appointment and couldn't be more happy! The healing process from the first appointment went so smoothly and Sissy was so helpful anytime that I had questions or concerns (day or night!). All I have to say is TRUST THE PROCESS! She knows what she's doing and while it may be a pretty scary healing process (especially when your scabs fall off and there is really no color there), in the end the results are AMAZING. Omgosh! Just did my eyebrows and I can't be anymore HAPPIER with Sissy and how she did a super UNREAL SUPER-DUPER AWESOME JOB! I felt NO PAIN, as she promised! I am not a person who can do pain, therefore i put this off for years because the previous person i went to did a BAD job and it WAS PAINFUL! I LOVE MY EYEBROWS NOW! i can't wait until this heals and not having tospend so much time on my eyebrows anymore! Sissy...she is soooo soooo sweet, caring...listens to you and asks how you want your eyebrows done, draws it out, MEASURES to make sure its as straight and even as it can be, you look at it, and when you like it...she gets to work! Came back home to visit in July. My brows were fading after one year of having them done. I've know Sissy for over a year and i didnt want to have someone i didnt know work on them. Believe it or not, i'm unaware of anyone who does a good job here. I decided to see Sissy when i was in town. She did a beautiful job and i like that she was able to make them darker, closer to my natural hair color rather than that red brown that i had. I would totally recommend her to anyone thinking about having their brows done. I'm also very happy to hear that she also flies to Kauai to provide these services there. Awesome!!! read more

Let me just start off by saying that my brows came out AMAZING! Booking my appointment was so easy and I got a quick response. Sissy is just the sweetest ever and her work is awesome! I didn't feel a thing and everything was clean and sterile! Her shop is just the cutest! Hawai'i Threading offers threading for brows, full face, or specific parts of the face. They also offer eyebrow tinting, too. I confidently recommend their services to anyone without hesitation. I make my appointments using the Yelp app for The Beauty Room in Mililani's website. I like that Ada has her own room off to the side of the row of recliners ( more privacy) but today I could hear someone's high heels clacking back and forth during my entire session. There was also oldies music playing in the background that I recognized. You have your eyes shut the entire time after your eyes have tape applied. Today Ada finished in about 43 minutes which is super fast. This was not a retouch but a full new set applied. Ada is very pretty and gentle with a light touch. First time I noticed her fingers weren't cold during the service. Very glad I was in and out so quickly. You're not supposed to get your lashes wet for 5 hours. I was prepared with a Tokidoki hat, umbrella and windbreaker in my tote. Darn Kona Low Storm wasn't going to ruin my new set of lashes. Friday the 13 th for sure with wind, rain and power outages as I write this review in the dark. Take care, keep safe, dry and warm.

Upon completion of Pretty in Ink LLC I have achieved and accomplished my Licensing to call my self a certified Licensed semi-permanent eyebrow technician. At the time I have completed the course, I felt far from perfect to take on a one on one client. Pretty in Ink offered unlimited apprenticeship training and planned on taking advantage of this opportunity. I would like to say well enduring Pretty in Ink LLC I have learned every aspect to take on the right steps in servicing the perfect candidate for eyebrow procedure. Presentations were clear and easy to follow through power point. Sissy is an incredible instructor and would rate her a 10. She has covered all the knowledge to take on a patron to service them with not only fabulous eyebrows, but with the knowledge of creating one. Throughout my apprenticeship I have had the chance to have Sissy side by side with me and my models (4x and 1x by myself), until she and I felt confident in going off on my own. Now that I have completed and gained the courage and confidence of taking a one on one client, I would like to say thank you Sissy for such a wonderful experience and for always staying true to your word "I will always stand by your side through it all." She also offered me a place on her team! I had the pleasure of taking her class and this will not conclude my journey with her for she also has an advance training class that I will take sometime in my near future (How can't I- I just witness one of the best instructors and now a friend in this business!) Sissy was a gift from God. I found her during my search for semi permanent eyebrows where I came across very long wait lists. She was able to see me right away for a consult and then perform the procedure immediately. While my friend was skeptical of this, I found that she was just as experienced and knowledgeable and professional and I simply LOVE my results. I have long dyed, colored, penciled and tinted my brows and never got this beautiful, natural-looking result. Sissy made me feel welcome, cared about, listened to and beautiful. On the outside it may seem like any old office building, but as you walk in, the retro vintage art, with pops of pink, and cutesy furniture & accessories draws you in. The receptionist, Aunty Lisa, welcomes you with a smile and offers you water and coffee. It was easy to get an appointment and the wait time was not long at all. This was my first time getting my eyebrows threaded. Aunty Sissy explained the process, she was gentle, made sure I was comfortable, and went the extra mile to show me how to care for my brows. Sissy did an amazing job on me. This is the best move ever. I was hesitant at first only because I have friends that tattooed their brows and the results didn't seem to amaze me. It looked unnatural. I've colored and penciled my brows for more than 10-years if not more. Glad, I've waited and meet this beautiful beautician that practically saved my life. I was soo nervous & anxious to do it...and from the first time I talked to Sissy on the phone to all the texts she made me feel so comfortable...thru the whole process from beginning to the end...I know I have the retouch appointment but I'm soo in love with my eyebrows! Had my brows done with Sissy 4 weeks ago and love the results so much I decided to do a lash lift too. You can sense how passionate she is about what she does and it shows in the quality of her work.
