Was delivered fresh and fast. They have many flavors some unique. I got a variety pack in a really cute canister. This taffy is whipped so not as bad as the regular taffy if you have dental work. Not only the best taffy I've ever had, but in the top five of any kind of candy I've ever had! I love the custom option with so many interesting flavors to choose from. I love the magnetic close in the box. I live that there's a color guide included. But most of all I love, love, love the flavors!!! Golden Pear is my favorite. No...wait...it's Honey. Wow! There are so many flavors! My kids and I went to the Taffy Town office to buy taffy and we had fun picking flavors for our own variety bags. The employee was super nice and helpful. She really knew the product! We got 75 pieces for about $6! My kids and I have been enjoying picking a couple at random each day and savoring the unique flavors. My fave so far has actually been chocolate chip cookie! It tastes just like Cookie Crisp cereal! read more

Taffy Town is only open weekdays with limited hours, so make note prior to driving to their location waaaaay out west. It was easy to find, though, with plentiful parking, and no customers save myself. If you are unfamiliar with their product, they have bowls of samples all over the place, making it easy to acquaint yourself. This is a basic factory store, and they only make taffy, but boy, they've got a plethora of flavors! You can do the whole pick a mix thing at $5.99/lb (with 1/4 lb free!), and there are easily...let's say 75 flavors? Probably more. You can peep my pic of the "menu," but keep in mind it does not include the 10+ newer varieties (I think their website is more updated for reference). There are standards such as peppermint, cherry, and banana, creative ones like hot chocolate, chili mango, and red licorice, plus kooky ones like maple bacon or chicken 'n waffles. My favorites were candy bar, cantaloupe, chocolate chip cookie, lemon cream, caramel apple, apple pie, blueberry, honey, and all the natural ones called Simply Taffy. These are flavored with real fruit and a bit less sweet! Sadly, they are not available loose, nor as a mixed bag, meaning you must commit to a full pound of a single flavor. Not to say I couldn't eat a pound of any of them, but I love me some variety. Same goes for their sour Sassy Taffy, but it is great, too! In addition to the above options, there were some prepackaged mixed bags for $4.99 lb, leftover Christmas was 50% off, and they have cute themed canisters, local collegiate packs, and some large bulk bags. The employee who assisted me was not particularly cheerful, but no big deal. My only real complaint is that some of the taffy was not very fresh and quite hard, but it still tasted fine. It was fun to visit and select all the "good stuff," and this would be an inexpensive option for party favors or other occasions when you need a large amount of treats. I don't think they offer factory tours, but I imagine kids would get a kick out of visiting and putting together their own bag of goodies. read more

What a great find! The place is located in the middle of an industrial area, far from the "city". It is a big building, easy to spot, with plenty parking. They have some samples, around 7, on the counter, next to the register. The variety of flavors to buy was great the day of my visit. I bought plenty of different flavors, some of them tasted great and some of them were weird tasting. read more

Oh man, I'm semi addicted to this taffy. I'm not sure if it's the smooth texture or amazing flavors. Either way I'm a fan. My first visit I bought a little of everything. After trying taffy from Cape Cod and the Outer Banks, I tried Taffy Town taffy and will always purchase their candy from now on. It is soft (but not too soft), has just the right amount of "chew" for me, and there are so many flavors to try!! I especially like the cinnamon, spicy hot, and butterscotch so far! But I am still working my way through other flavors I want to try. I especially like the ability to purchase flavors of one's choosing in a customized 3 pound package. I do not typically eat candy but I so crave TT's taffy that I even take it with me when traveling. A couple of pieces a day are my preferred dessert on most days. read more

They have a huge variety of flavors (over 70), many of which don't really taste how they're meant to which is a real shame. I found the Berry and Tropical flavors to be the better of the them along with Coconut. Two new flavors for this year are: Blueberry Muffin and Red Velvet Cake. I have not tried these and do sound interesting. Other than regular Taffy they also do a sugar free version and special seasonal ones (Pumpkin faces on for Halloween, Hearts of Valentines Day ect). The company has been in business for over 97 years with a factory completely free of Peanut, Tree Nut, and Gluten. As well as being certified Kosher Dairy. Good to know! read more

Huge variety of taffies, as well as gummi bears and sundry sweets. The interior of the store is small but very colorful and fun, and there are plenty of free samples to choose from. I am not a huge taffy fan myself, but my taffy-loving companions seemed to enjoy the flavors and selection. Taffy Town was featured on the Food Network show "UnWrapped," which was playing on a TV while we shopped. I don't think they have factory tours, so it was cool to see the massive slabs of taffy being worked on TV if not in person. read more

Taffy town first off has amazing taffy. Sassy taffy is my absolute favorite. Over the holidays in 2020 I got sick and had to be on steroids for 2 months. All I wanted to eat was sour candy 24/7, but nothing satisfied. That's when I found SASSY TAFFY, and now steroids or not, I can't live without it. It's perfectly sour and everyone I give it to try loves it. Secondly, their customer service is awesome! I recently ordered two bags of sassy taffy and was missing one of the bags, not a huge deal, but I left them a voicemail that night when I got home. A very sweet representative named Shelby literally called me first thing in the morning and shipped it SO VERY quickly, I think I got it within 2 days. I purchased a 14 oz box from World Market for $4.95 ish ( a whole lot cheaper then ordering on their website, which is 12.50 ) I looked it up online to see what flavors of taffy were in the box before purchasing, as the outside of the box does not say. I love Watermelon taffy, its in the box so I purchased it. Most of the candy was good, but a few pieces were extremely hard. ( hence the 3 stars, ) thought maybe I got a bum box, but since some were really good, I don't think that was the case. Most of the box had Vanilla which I cannot stand, so that will be rehomed to someone who likes that flavor. Not my favorite taffy ( Love the taffy from Keystone SD ) , but not the worst either, , wish they had a box full of the fun flavors and sell them in the stores, such as World Market, such as bubble gum/ watermelon, bacon,, lol.. whatever,, I would buy them then for sure ! read more

Yum, taffy and lots of it. A plethora of creative flavors and fresh, they make it right here. I can't say it is as good as the salt water taffy I grew up with in the bay area, but its good. They also give tours although I have not been on one yet. They make their own fudge which is not quite See's quality, but its pretty good. Overall it's hard not too like this candy factory, I guess my only issue is that I'm comparing it to the Jelly Belly factory in CA, I shouldn't but I am, so I can only give it a healthy four at five stars. read more

On Sept 3, 2014, my husband and I were visiting Galena, IL. There is a bulk candy store there called, Kandy Kitchen. The salt water taffy of Taffy Town Co that is sold there is of very low quality. It didn't come off the wax paper wrapper clean. Sticky and stringy. Didn't hold its shape. It was as if someone had chewed it and rewrapped it. Soggy and lack luster in the flavor. A lot of the taffy remained on the wrapper when we finally pulled it off. What a sticky mess! Don't bother! read more
