I went to the burger place across the street and found the this chocolate factory store. The store is set up nice and they do have a good selection of chocolates. The employee that came from the back didn't seem to care much for helping customers. We ended up with a few different toffees that were delicious. I felt the prices were reasonable.

Recommend especially for Valentine's Day coming up! We happened on this place while walking in downtown salt lake and had to pop in. It is in an industrial area so you might miss it. They have all kinds of chocolate options from dark to milk. The were sold out of quite a bit since it was the holidays but they were able to accommodate. The cashier nicely made me mg own variety pack where I chose what I wanted. My dad went gaga over the pecan toffee which was divine.

It feels like all the local malls have a V Chocolates kiosk, generally offering samples of their chocolate-covered caramels. I have tried them, and the caramel itself is very good: not overly sweet, seeming to be naturally flavored, and perfectly soft. But at these stands they only ever have milk chocolate everything, and that is NOT my jam. This factory store offers many pre-packaged goodies just like the kiosks, but with at least quadruple the inventory displayed, and many products not offered elsewhere. Along with the caramel, their other big seller is toffee (almond, macadamia, cashew, or pecan), but they have plenty of additional sweets: cutie chocolate frogs and turtles, chocolate covered nuts, pretzels, cinnamon bears, caramel apples, and more. Many are available in both milk or dark, including what surprisingly ended up bring my favorite: mocha meltaways! Their appearance is in the vein of Utah's ubiquitous mint meltaways, however the filling is creamy, dreamy coffee flavored. It is mild, slightly crunchy from flecks of real coffee beans, and just scrumptious as can be! Another bonus of shopping the actual store is that you have the option to purchase just a few of most their treats, rather than a full box. They have a glass case at the counter, though little was exhibited within, but they can retrieve your requested chocolates from the back. When I stopped by a week or so ago, they did not have everything available (I think, like many other chocolatiers, they are just now starting to really ramp up for the holidays), but I was able to snag cellophane baggies of several of the aforementioned mint and mocha meltaways, a square of toffee, plus a few dark chocolate covered caramels. Their packaging and branding is on trend: simple and clean, in heavy, almost Tiffany blue boxes, making excellent gifts. Prices are reasonable, especially if simply treating yourself and opting out of the gift packages, as I spent about $10 for my selections. They had a small table of half-priced treats, too! Service was fine. I did wait a good ten minutes while the one employee out front was taking a an order via telephone, but I can't fault her for that, and it gave me time to meander around the shop, so I knew just what I wanted when she was available. I do hope during busier times that they will have two available to assist customers.

Treats heaven!!

This chocolate is soooooo good and the Caramel apples are so good! Personally I think they make the best caramel and chocolate I've had. This location is where they make all the delicious treats and you can even see them in action making the treats. They even ship products if you can get to a location and even have a wholesale side where they sell products to higher end stores. For me being in Arizona, I was told AJ's sell V's chocolates so that made me happy to know that Walking into the store, they have so much delicious looking treats but I was for sure getting a delicious caramel apple. I ended getting the white chocolate cinnamon sugar caramel apple which is soooooo good. Perfect tasting white chocolate with that cinnamon sugar taste that makes to crave it. I also got some sea salt chocolate caramels which you can never go wrong with. The caramel has that nice soft, fresh taste with that smooth chocolate with a hint of sea salt that is makes it a perfect treat They even have some samples which I had a truffle and a chocolate covered cinnamon bear. That chocolate is so good that I generally don't link truffles and that was one of the best truffles I've had. Nice smooth tasting chocolate that makes me think of how European chocolate tastes like. Great place for some of the best treats you will have. Check them out at any of their locations

Amazing caramel chocolates. I've never visited the store but was introduced to them by my hubby a couple of years back via a Valentine's Day gift. It was so tasty that I began ordering their chocolates from Amazon and recently directly from them. I got an assortment and can't wait to eat them

This place has the most delicious chocolate toffee. They also have other fancy chocolate options to choose from. The chocolates and/or toffee are a high-quality taste of perfection wrapped and beautifully boxed. The chocolate toffee also comes in a variety of different nutty options to choose from such as pecan, macadamia, almond, etc.. They also have chocolate samples to try from at the counter! This place is a bit pricey, but quality chocolate done right is always worth a high price.

Carmel pretzel bites were really good. They use Belgium chocolate, higher quality ingredients, no preservatives and all the chocolate is wrapped in a aesthetically pleasing decor. Order online or check out their store when you are in the SLC! If you come in ask for Paiten! She is really friendly!

This is what I got extremely disappointing

Absolutely amazing chocolates! My favorite is the salted caramels, or the no nut chocolate carmels. We drive from Heber just to get them!

If you're looking for pastries that are as stunning as they are delicious, Fillings & Emulsions…read moreabsolutely delivers. Their fruit-shaped creations are little works of art--so realistic it almost feels wrong to eat them... almost. Each pastry is fresh, light, and packed with flavor. The pistachio was incredibly tasty, though definitely on the richer side, so it's one you might want to savor slowly. The raspberry had a beautifully balanced sweetness with a vibrant, delicious filling. The lemon was very zingy--almost intensely so--but still delightful if you enjoy bold citrus flavors (just maybe not an entire one in a single sitting). The standout, though, was the mango. Easily the winner. It had such a bright, powerful flavor, and the fresh mango inside made every bite feel special. Everything about it--from taste to presentation--was just beautiful. The only slight letdown was the macarons. While still good, they didn't quite match the intensity and uniqueness of the pastries and felt a bit underwhelming in comparison. Overall, this place is a must-visit if you appreciate creative, high-quality desserts. It's clear a lot of skill and care goes into every piece. I loved the building that the pastry shop was in, as it had a "lunch room" feel to it. There are a few restaurants inside so there are options and there's plenty of seating.

The sweet cashier recommended Strawberry & Mango, so that's what we got. They were delicious! I think the mango was my personal favorite. The crunch of the chocolate coating was so satisfying and the fillings soft and gooey. It didn't feel artificial either! The location is in a food mall, which I wasn't expecting but it was so cute inside. I wish we had more time to check out the other vendors but we'll have to come back. On a separate note, it was kind of hard to find a trash can.

Your…read moreeyes start stinging the second you walk in, and somehow the smoke follows you through the entire meal. We were quoted a 10-15 minute wait despite there being multiple open tables everywhere, which already set the tone. The person at the front also seemed like greeting guests was a personal inconvenience. Not exactly the warm welcome you'd expect from a place trying this hard to look aesthetic. To make things worse, several pastries sitting in the front display were visibly burnt. Not "artisan charred" -- just burnt. The pastries we ordered were actually good, which makes the rest of the menu even more disappointing. We tried the soft scramble, pork cheek tartine, truffle tartine, and mushroom fettuccine. Everything looked beautiful but tasted either burnt, bland, or both. Every toast item arrived burnt enough that you could taste it in every bite. Our server came by often to refill waters and check on us, but the service somehow still felt oddly impersonal. Since the restaurant wasn't busy at all, it also made us wonder how attentive the service would be during an actual rush. Honestly, this place feels more focused on looking trendy than serving good food. Stick to the pastries if you go -- it's the only thing worth ordering.

Leona our server - retook our order and kept our water and coffee filled. As they got busy service began to slow- special drinks slowly got delivered - and we had a noticeable wait for our food. But the atmosphere is very nice and our company awesome so it wasn't as noticeable. Food came out hot - which told us the kitchen was busy but our server was delivering the food quickly. Everything was delicious- well seasoned and perfect temperature- soft scramble look yummy - the Benedict so good they made it a yummy meatless dish! The eggs poached well and served with peas a really neat compliment to the dish. Mushroom pasta looked very good and I'll have to order it next time. Funghi pizza was excellent- the béchamel was excellent and melody of mushrooms yummy- crust was good a bit dark on the top but bottom crust good. Overall we weren't in a rush so the wait wasn't too bad - the food is excellent and worth the wait

Their chickpea bao buns with chipotle aioli blew me away. It was the perfect level of spicy and very filling without making me feel heavy. It seemed actually nutritious, so no need for the guilt after (that I saved for the cinnamon roll dessert I picked up at the same time). The price was also very affordable. I love how much variety is available here and that it's all vegan. I always feel spoiled for choice, I never know what to get because it all looks so good. There's a decent amount of seating inside. Their burritos and fries are my go-to favorites. The burritos are just top-notch, but I have a soft spot for their fries -- it's kind of an inside joke for me. Whenever I go out to eat with people, they always say, "Well, I know what El is having," because I always get fries with my food. But theirs are surprisingly amazing. Fries are usually just "fine" or "good," but theirs? They're very good. The owner is incredibly kind, and their baked goods are fantastic -- especially the peanut butter brownie, which I can't recommend enough. Their soft serve is also really good, and I'm excited to try some of their candy next time. I even took a non-vegan friend there, and he really enjoyed the food. Beyond the food, the team is so nice, and they have a little vegan market with some really cool products. I bought about half a pound of vegan bacon from them, and now I'm making all kinds of breakfast sandwiches at home. If you're in the area, whether you're vegan or not, Sweet Hazel is a must-visit. And if you can't stop by in person, their partner company Break Free Candy ships their sweets, which is awesome. Seriously, if you order anything from the menu, make it the peanut butter brownie. It's life-changing -- and I say that as a huge brownie lover.
