Not returning to class here. My son was in tiny tots, it was ok, he had some fun, but there are hardly any children in that class. Sometimes he was the only one. We partly signed him up to be around other kids. The teachers seem like teenagers who don't care that much. read more

It's a fine place. It very big and has many students. But there is new coaches every month! At competitions we are the biggest group in the whole place! They make too many girls come. Since they have so many girls everyone gets less reps . Overall could be a better place. read more

This place is massive! Took my kids for a birthday here and it was our first time and I was really impressed. This place is huge and there was plenty of room and equipment for the kids to get on. There were tumbling tracks, obstacle courses, trampolines, beams, bars, inflatables, indoor sports, and a foam pit. The party room was really big compared to other places I've been. The staff was interactive and attentive and very good with keeping the children entertained and introducing them to the different activities. I love how organized they were. read more

All in all, my daughter is enjoying gymnastics here. She is getting to participate in balance beams, bars, trampolines and more. Her coaches are really nice and work very well with the younger children . I would not recommend this place to others though. The supervision is definitely lacking especially for the amount of kids here of all different ages. I would never send my daughter to camp or parent night out here because I have no faith that the supervision would be enough. There is a ladies bathroom with 3 stalls. For the last 5 months at least (since we have been there), there has been one stall out of order. There are so many girls and women here it seems ridiculous to have only 2 bathroom stalls in the whole place. The bathrooms are also not clean at all. I think it has a lot of potential but I think it could be run better. read more

This facility is phenomenal and huge! I had never stepped into a facility like this before. You see kids training everywhere and no matter what the age so attentive and serious. Not only do they have an Olympian as one of their instructors but all over the walls are pictures of former gold medal winners who have stopped by here including some like Shawn Johnson and Aly Raisman. The front wall is covered in so many trophys showing the potential of this training center. All instructors here are professionals and you can see in their demeanor that they mean business. My nephew (5 years old) and niece (three years old) come here twice a week and now since its summer have enrolled in their weekly summer camp. I'm just how shocked to see so many young kids following directions and paying attention so well. None of the kids were ever distracted and the cool things they could do already at such a young age sometimes made me cringe. The kids are separated into different groups by age and sex. You can see them doing everything from tumbling, the trampoline, stretching, flipping, running, bars, etc. I'm telling you there is so much going on and it's so nice they allow parents to watch from a glass window so they kids feel comfortable but not distracted. We had my other nephew in from out of town and they let us pay a day fee and he enjoyed a class. They also have vending machines filled water, Gatorade and some snacks for the parents and younger siblings who are waiting. If you live in Weston or the Broward area and are thinking about putting your little loved one in some type of camp I highly recommend this facility. I believe it's either the largest or one of the largest in the USA and they are professionals and kids are so disciplined. After a day here the kids come home all ready for naps or bed. So trust me, it is so worth it! Also have to mention I have no pictures of the inside as they ask for the children's sake, you keep it private, I respect that so I took 2 pictures of the outside showing the number just in case. read more

TAG USA is basically the Walmart of Gymnastics gyms. It is certainly large but the quality of things you get inside aren't so good. Our daughter trained there for many years starting with recreational classes, then pre-team, and finally competitive team. She actually started really enjoying it and taking it serious and even got 2nd place at the FL state championship in her age group for Xcel Bronze in her first competition season. However after that we started to see that TAG was not really the gym for us. Once the Xcel Silver season started we saw the difference in skill from TAG and the competition. Every competition in Xcel Silver our girls were killed by the competition. Their floor routines in particular were so elementary compared to other teams. The coaches would yell at the girls and blame them even though they were being taught the same basic routine. Mike the owner blamed the judges for "bias" and re-arranged the entire schedule to enter into less competitive mickey mouse meets in school cafeterias so the girls could place better. When I questioned him on the price differential he owed us he said I didn't understand how meets worked. Um, it's called simple math dude - we pre-paid you for certain meets and the meets you scheduled cost less - duh! He still owes us money but only gave us credits for future use. When I complained to him that the vans he used for school transport were absolutely filthy he lied and said they are "swept every day". When I showed him video proving otherwise and said the vans have NEVER been swept he made up some lame excuse about how "you know how kids are". Certainly the last person I would trust to sanitize equipment during a pandemic. In addition one of the coaches grabbed one of the girls to discipline her so bad he caused marks on her arm. However, this coach still works there. The owner Mike could care less about the kids, all he sees are dollar signs coming in. He's more interested in his instagram than your kids. Despite my daughter going here for several years he didn't know who she was or who we were when I confronted him with my numerous concerns. I heard this gym used to be much better when his ex-wife ran the place but it has really gone downhill since. We don't have any illusions about our daughter being the next Simone Biles but all I have to say is that since she changed gyms she was the state champion for her age in Xcel Gold and placed 2nd at the Regional Championships. The proof is in the pudding. Look up the top 100 results at the recent States. Other local gyms have way more representation than TAG - none of their teams placed in Xcel Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum. We all want our kids to get better in a positive environment with coaches who really care for your kids. I have met countless other parents who have had the same experience as us and have left for better gyms. Us and 3 other families took our girls to greener pastures nearby and couldn't be happier. Do yourself and your kids a favor, do not go here as this is a factory where they churn and burn kids just for money. read more

I've attended a few birthday parties here, and they're always fun for the kids. The party rooms are spacious and clean. The kids love running around and jumping on the equipment. There's also plenty of parking (it can be a bit of a walk if there are several parties going on). During this last visit, I wanted to buy a drink from the vending machine and the TAG staff didn't have chance for a $10, which was a bit of an inconvenience. I took my daughter him from Feb 2021 to May 2021. The gymnastics was fine. Everything was fine, but at the very end, the owner/manager tried to scam me for one extra month of payment. I could believe it. I had never had anything like this happen to me here in Florida. I signed a contract with terms and conditions for the time I was bringing me my daughter to the gym. The contract said I had to give a month's notice for them to stop the monthly payments. I gave the notice, the owner ignored it. He changed the contract and extended one month on the contract. He used a different ink pen to change the contract. I COULD believe my eyes. I disputed the charge on my credit card and won the dispute. WATCH OUT when you sign a contract with them. Ask for a copy or take a picture, do not allow the to try to scam you like they tried to scam me read more

The WORST place to bring your kids to learn gymnastics. The ownership is terrible. All they care about is how much money they can bring in. Your child's well being is least in their mind. The Gymnasts don't really improve on their skills at the rate others do at other gym's. The sole purpose of this gym is for the owner to make money off you. Do Not enroll your child at this gym. Three words - why so hot?!? Every time I go here - and it's often - it is way too hot. Try setting up a party in the heat or simply sitting makes one sweat. Poor kids that are running around in it. Is there a way to keep it cooler - I think it will actually feel cleaner if cooler with the rugs etc!!!! Happy to see some new "cubes" in the pit where the rope drop is. Many conversations stem around thinking about the germs - especially since heat helps bread bacteria. read more

Do not enroll your children in this gym! We moved recently to Miami and immediately started looking for a gymnastics place for my 8 year old who has taken gymnastics on and off for about 2 years! Due to the nature of how much we have moved in the past two years, her skills have not gotten far, but she does have an amazing attitude and hard work ethic! So, we enrolled and paid 10 weeks! Within the first 10 minutes, she was asked to get on top of a 5 feet high beam and do a cartwheel on it. She verbally expressed to the coaches (three different ones) that she wasn't equipped nor had previous training to do such move. The coach told her that she had to do it anyways! My daughter is very energetic and fears nothing. She was terrified! When I brought this issue to the receptionist, she apologized and told me that the coaches had mistakenly grouped 3 different levels together, and she had no idea why that was, but said that my daughter should incorporate back to her team. So she did! Within 5 minutes, my daughter came back crying because they kept telling her to do jumps on the 5 feet high beam. So, we told the receptionist that we needed to speak to the manager and get a refund. Long story short we emailed the OWNER, after about 3 emails he basically said he would not give us a refund and that after speaking to the staff they had done nothing wrong and so he would not be issuing a refund to us. So, IF you ever consider this gymnastics academy, just be aware that your kid may come out with a broken arm one day. They do not care if your kid has had the property training to perform such movements. Do not go here!!!!!!! read more

I love this place! I have now hosted two birthday parties for my son here and they have both been a hit! This new location is wonderful. It is HUGE! There are about 4 different types of inflatables available for the kids included in the party price, various trampolines and spring floor for the kids to run, jump and play on. There is plenty of seating outside of the party rooms for parents to sit and look into the gym if they choose not to enter. Anyone who enters is required to be barefooted. No socks allowed. I thought my feet would come out black once done and they were not. They keep their gym spotless. Their bathrooms and party areas are very clean too which is important when dealing with kids. When the play portion is over they guide the kids to the wall hand sanitizer before entering the party room to eat. The party time frame is usually 1 hour for play and 45 minutes in the party room. They have specific times listed on their site that offer extended play time and time in the party room at no extra cost which I found useful. My only gripe, and it's a big one, is that the time to set up is only 20 minutes. I practically begged for a 10 minute extension. As it is, with 5 people, it took us 45 minutes to set up. This means that I missed the first 15 minutes of my son's party. I was really stressed and sweating setting up rushing as were my girlfriends who were helping me. There should definitively be more time allowed in between parties for set up and cleaning up etc. At the very least, larger parties in the big room absolutely need more time than the other smaller rooms. I acknowledge that I am an extreme case because my decorations are typically more intricate than others. However, just bringing simple tablecloths, plates and all the food can take at least 30 minutes. But I digress... The registration process is simple. Everything is spelled out for you in the contract and on their website. The staff that works with the kids and helps set up the party is absolutely wonderful. They really do a great job in training them. Not one simple complaint about that here. I have a special needs child and they have always been accommodating with things like lowering the music or switching up the party format. We are definitively coming back for a third time! read more

3/6/16 - Came here for a 2 year old birthday with mom and nieces. Location is nice and there is plenty of parking. The facility is HUGE!!! There were at least 3 birthday parties that day. We had a room for all the kids. They had 2 young people, very professional, and super fun work with the kids doing all sorts of activities inside the gymnastics space. They did a fantastic job with the kids! After about an hour or so, all the kids and parents retired to the room to have pizza and drinks. The kids had their own table. It was a great day. My nieces enjoyed it very much! read more

We started at Tag three weeks ago. We have received such a warm welcome. My daughter has thrived in such a positive and well structured environment. The Assistant Manager AJ is amazing at his job. He always takes the time to answer questions and always builds my daughter's confidence when we walk past. We have 3 kids and have been enjoying TAG for years. We have had birthday parties here several times. The staff has always been wonderful, EXTREMELY attentive (actively walking around offering additional pizza to the kids & parents) and proactive with cleaning. At the end, they have always loaded up presents, balloons & coolers on carts and assisted in transporting them to our vehicle. Regarding the gym...it's HUGE and always very clean. Our youngest just turned 7 and Marina has been her coach. Marina is a true gem and our daughter has excelled and has definitely acquired skills and confidence to advance to the next level. All of our interaction with staff & management has always been great. We have never experienced anything negative with multiple kids who have been involved in their program. There are some reviews here that just unbelievable to me and seem completely made up. As a dad of 3, I easily recommend TAG to everyone read more

We just had our son's 5th birthday party there and it could not have gone better. Every person was commenting on how nice and clean this place was, how super helpful the staff was, and how much fun the kids had. They are very organized in running parties smoothly and I would do another party here again for sure! We booked the largest room and it was very worth it so we had lots of space for the guests and kids. Harrison and the entire team made everything easy for us from helping set up the decorations, to serving the pizza, helping serve the cake, and helping with clean-up! I highly recommend!! read more

HOT in all the worst ways. This guy is CHEAP and never turns the AC on. Every time a friend has a birthday party or we host one ourselves, the AC is always "broken". Mind you, he does this knowingly in peak summer and makes it so uncomfortable for his guests and when you ask about it, he is rude and doesn't care. Avoid this place for birthday parties if you want to be comfortable and have a good time. P.s. they only give you 30 minutes to set up so you are sweating before the party even starts. read more

I want to start this review off by saying that I really wanted to give this place a chance. My daughter is a very talented athlete and I by no means need her to go to the Olympics or even go collegiate. She was the type who actually won many competitions got gold medals and has great potential at gymnastics but I just wanted to her to have a good experience. let me start by saying that I was at Tag for several years even when I had read all the reviews. I was really rooting for this place. Everything in the reviews is true. My last day at Tag was horrible. I witnessed several girls performing skills that were advanced with not enough supervision or correction. Being that I work in orthopedic surgery this was very alarming to me. What I witnessed would've involved fractures to the neck that could leave a child paralyzed. In addition I found the coaches is not very friendly when I needed to talk to him about my daughters performance. One of them was actually really rude to me. teams don't do very well at competitions they get creamed by everyone else. And because my daughter did very well at competitions while the others didn't she was a target of bullying . You can tell the other gyms are investing more in their gymnasts time and energy and they go more quality and not quantity. Tag is about how many girls they can sign up no matter the talent it's all about money . The girls that are subpar will bully the very talented ones. I agree with a previous review tag is the Walmart of gymnastics. I could go on and on... I removed my daughter because I refuse to give one more penny to this establishment. read more

We had our twins 4 year birthday party this place was the best! They had plenty of activities for the kids to participate in. The kids had free play and structured activity. Not was it not only fun for all the kids it is a very safe environment.The staff was great with the kids and adults. They were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a minor issue with an outside food vendor that they partner up with and the manager took the initiative to help resolve it. I could not have been more pleased with how things went. TAG USA is a beautiful and large facility!!!! Lots of smoke and mirrors. Here's a break down of my experiences at TAG Recreational classes: First of all 85% of the recreational coaches are not USA Gymnastics certified, they do not have background checks, and they do not have safety certifications. These are very young kids, some still in high school. They haven't the slightest clue how to coach the skills for the children to progress, which means you'll be paying for your child to stay in the same class for multiple sessions before they ever accomplish anything... Biggest pet peeve, they are ALWAYS on their cell phones. I'm paying for gymnastics instruction, not some kids phone bill. Competitive team: My daughter has been on team for quite some time but hasn't progressed. When I would bring my concerns up with her coaches they would simply blame my daughter. I've attended probably 100 of her practices and she and many other not so "talented" kids are ignored. Mostly due to her coach thinking it's appropriate to babysit her kids and wearing pajamas to teach rather than focusing on progressing her group. The owners swear they don't make money off team fees, leotards, and membership fees. This is an absolute lie and it outrages me! 1. Membership fees are about $54 to renew. I think the gym charged us double that. Leotards and uniforms are triple of what they would cost if I just ordered them myself from GK...shipping is not $200 for a couple tiny spandex leotards...coaches fees are ridiculous. The cost of sending coaches to meets, paying for their food, hotel, and travel does not meet the arm and a leg each kid has to pay. The coaches themselves have said they don't see that money. Office Staff: The gym has a liaison , A liaison! Are you kidding me? All this lady does is walk around and gossip wearing semi- provocative clothes. The front desk staff is nearly unbearable. It's very impressive that the office staff is bilingual but the English is so bad you get uncomfortable talking to them. Silvina, the front desk manager is the rudest most unhelpful office worker I have ever met. She can't get send an accurate email to save her life and the owner will blame the parents for her imcompetence! She also gets part of the team kids competition fees because she's doing so much "extra work." News flash that's her job! The gym: Though impressive with its size and brand new equipment, the gym itself isn't functional. There's always scheduling errors and no one ever seems to know what's going on. It sends the coaches in a frenzy. Daily I see the Rec coaches fighting with team coaches. Then the Rec Director gets involved and then the owner comes out. It's all a big mess. Open gyms: Most popular open gym for sure but hardly supervised and incredibly dangerous! After school program: There is no structure and the kids are out of control! I watched a child hit then spit on a random parent in the lobby! Biggest issue here was they had an employee doing school pick ups in the TAG vans and he had a suspended license!!! He was let go but still this goes back to the background checks! Under no circumstances should a business hire people to work with children without thorough background checks! This will prevent your child from danger and any drama that the gym is currently under know with the old owner of TAG gymnastics. Now a convicted sex offender. I suggest you ignore the fancy facility in the sweet talking crooked owners. it's not the facility that makes the athlete, it's the instructors and the management. Find a facility that has good core and family values! read more

I've been to plenty of hole in the wall gymnastics places, TAG blows everyone out of the water. The coaches are so friendly and fun with the kids (I may just have stuck around and spied a couple of times!!), and they even make friends with the kids, like with my Payten (6 years old), everytime she comes by for camp or the parents night out they high five her and embrace her which makes me feel at ease and happy as a parent to see every child get treated equally, everyone is there to have fun! So kudos to the staff. As for the man that owns the place, I've met plenty of times.. he is very knowledgeable about the gymnastics world and been nothing but helpful to my family and I. And the facility, even with all the craziness, IT'S CLEAN, doesn't smell like sweat/feet like other places I've been to. Even if your child isn't into gymnastics, let them try out the "parents night out" on Saturday 7-10. You get to go out, and the kids get to blow off some steam. Maybe they'll be hooked like mine! read more

We brought my daughter here to compete for regional tumbling and trampoline. As soon as we walked in we were very impressed. We couldn't believe how huge this place was. The building was very new so this gym was clean with all new equipment. The staff was very accommodating; all the other parents from our gym commented on how we wished we lived near here. We can't comment about the coaching staff but the place was very very awesome. The one little complaint we had was the room they had the awards in one of the side rooms which was too small for the amount of people there, so it was packed. They should have had the awards in one of the different larger rooms or in the room that had the concessions. read more

Check out parents night out, every Saturday. The kids play indoors, well supervised, in a clean and safe environment. They have an awesome time. They usually go in a group so they know a few people. Pizza and snacks are available to purchase. The owners are great. read more

Celebrated my son's birthday here and the place itself is fine. My experience was completely ruined by the management that was there. A guy named Harrison was horrible with customer service. He was yelling in the lobby at customers, incredibly disrespectfully. My friends warned me about the "tempered and druggy looking man" and I couldn't believe that it was really happening. He did not handle any of our issues appropriately or efficiently, he was all over the place and yelling at everyone else- in a way that no one should be yelled/spoken to. The place can really do without such a disrespectful person in charge. I know many people that were interested in coming here with their kids for parties, but I will be leading them a different way until I know that Harrison is fired. Horrible Horrible Horrible. Ruined my day as well as, the parents that were with my party. The only reason that I even gave them stars, is because without him- the experience would have been 4/5 Stars. Place is clean and spacious. Parking is never an issue! Ask ahead of time and make sure you're not booking a party while he is on shift! read more

My kids are loving the aftercare program at TAG- weston! Melissa is so sweet and always so attentive. When I pick up the kids and they are smiling, happy and I know they are being cared for. I highly recommend the aftercare program here! read more

Coach Youin is a horrible coach! He put my granddaughter up 5 levels to "team" in one shot ( which also ups the monthly cost considerably) Then he picks at her and tells her she is wasting everyone else's time. She is 7 years old and he expects her to be a master on things she hasn't had time to develop because he moved her up too quickly. He made us think he was going to work with her, but he treats her poorly and makes her cry. She begged me to take her home and never make her go back. This child loved gymnastics until this piece of garbage got his hands on her. He's a disgrace. When I approached him, he tells me he doesn't even know which child I am talking about. It's the child who walked out of your group and you didn't even notice she was gone. Nice supervision. What a moron. I will never step foot is this place again. Also, they don't watch the kids that are there for "after care" the run through the place like animals unsupervised. Last week a kid knocked over a toddler and gave her a bloody nose. It's terrible. My daughter transferred to Tag about 3 years ago and although the life of a gymnast has it's ups and downs, TAG coaches and administrators have supported and encouraged my daughter every step of the way. I have seen her skills improve throughout the years taking her a step closer to her goal which is to receive a gymnastics scholarship. This goal is not only one that she has set for herself but it is the goal of the gym. TAG works towards encouraging all the athletes to better themselves body and mind. The owners of TAG USA also set other important ideals such as to be a giving and loving person, they model this by the many charities that they support.
