This lovely event has grown in size and popularity and it's been a fun transition to watch. You'll find fresh produce and local meat as well as artisan foods such as gluten free baked goods, locally sourced honey and unique salsas that rival anything you could buy in a store. I also love the kitschy artsy/craftsy stuff. It's fun to talk to the vendors-they are usually the people who make the goods themselves. Supporting local art and food is important to me...a few years ago I put a ton of effort into selling goods at events such as this, so they hold a special place in my heart. Be kind. These folks are doing something that they love and hoping to make a little money doing it. Consider supporting local rather than big box. I especially love that you won't find MLM type companies. Yes, I know those folks are also trying to earn some money. But I think Farmer's Markets should be reserved for local goods. I appreciate that the organizers of this market feel the same way. This year, it was nice to see how everyone adhered to the CDC guidelines and kept the market open, with accommodation for the virus. Great job, everyone!

Literally 2 weeks and my order I got an email that my order was ready for pick up. I drove over tonight and it was dark, and the street, being rural, had no lights. When you enter the property you'll see a sign that says "No Entry", drive through, stay to the left of the house and in the back you'll find the retail store. See pics of the entrance. I told the nice ladies inside the store my name and asked me to go outside, turn right, to see Travis who will load up my car. Sure nuff, T Money had my two 35 pound boxes ready to load in my car. I've not yet tried any of the beef yet but when I do I'll update the review. This spot is my new jam... can't wait until I run out of eggs.

You can find them either at one of the local farmer's markets or (and I think preferably) by getting a share. You can have your share or half-share delivered or pick it up at several locations. Most importantly the produce is incredible. It is so fresh and yummy. No grocery stores can compare. It doesn't get fresher. Their means of production are environmentally friendly and totally healthy for the consumer and for the workers. It is local and totally owner operated. You can stop by and see the fields, meet the farmers, chomp on a carrot and share a laugh. Healthy, fresh, locally grown veggies delivered with a smile. Fred Openshaw, with gorgeous apple cider and apple cider slushes that are worth their weight in gold, deserves every single dollar in your pocket. Tagge's Farms, with snappy green beans and an 8-foot display of salsas, jams, butters, and mixes, should get any spare change you have left. Volker's Bakery is also a stand-out, the vendor today had baked all the goods at the stand before coming to the market to sell out. The Asiago-pepper bread is my personal favorite and I buy a loaf every time they have it!

Hopefully this market will expand a little bigger with more variety of everything. I'm glad it wasn't over ran by the crafts or honey vendors like most other farmers market.

The cinnamon crumble donut had great flavor, sweet and moist! We warmed up the pumpkin cinnamon roll when we got home and it was rich in flavor. You get a subtle pumpkin flavor, but it was so delectable. The sourdough garlic knots were soft on the inside and had a nice garlic flavor, we warmed it up when we got home and paired it with some marinara and it was amazing! Definitely recommend going! Rented this event space and upon arrival were surprised with no A/C. No prior notification it was…read morebroke. The only reason we rented that particular building was because it had A/C when we visited. They put in industrial evaporative coolers which the noise level was overwhelming along with the humidity. After we requested a partial refund they immediately said the A/C was not broken. We have 40 guests who would say otherwise along with the fact their Venue Coordinator who delivered the bad news. Just a side note their 3 stall bathroom is actually a 3 Station Portable Restroom Trailer.
