More chicken needs to be added! The chocolate sorbet was exquisite. No notes. Was not offered to add candied almond or hot honey, it didn't need it. Possibly best restaurant dessert. Lower score because I was judged harshly by my server about where I lived, them being uppity and saying, "Eww, I'd never live there." After observation it seems mostly "regulars" dine here, I must have not looked expensive enough, or behaved poorly enough. For the price, I shouldn't be leaving hungry, or ashamed. We were driving from Nashville to Pennsylvania and stopped here on a whim after the place we originally planned to go to was closed -- and wow, we are SO glad we did. From the moment we walked in, the service was amazing and we were seated immediately. The restaurant was spotless, and even the bathrooms were incredibly clean. The food was fantastic too. We ordered pizza, salad, an appetizer, and dessert, and everything came out quickly and tasted great. We were honestly shocked that the entire meal was under $50. And, we were in and out in about 45 minutes without ever feeling rushed. This was some of the best service we've had in a long time, especially while traveling. Came for the Gf deep dish pizza! And it did not disappoint! Being GF, it can be hard to find good pizza. While deep dish is not my favorite, this definitely fulfilled a craving! We came in a little before noon and there were only two other tables full. So a very quiet, chill lunch! My mom and I split the GF deep dish pepperoni because we didn't want to be overly full. I have been wanting to try Taglio since I heard they had a gluten free Detroit-style pizza. No one on Yelp was talking about it so I decided to volunteer as tribute. Detroit style is my favorite kind of pizza, and I get very excited when I can find a GF version. I was not disappointed at all. There was the crunch, then the soft interior that is often tough to get right. Not too doughy or dense, either. I feel ashamed to talk in this great detail about pizza crust but hey, we are who we are. All of the ingredients were fresh and we got great service despite coming in an hour before close. It was a tad small for the price but I would definitely treat myself to this on occasion. It was also cool to hear they have their own bourbon. My gluten-loving kid also approved of her pie as well. Great parking options and located in the heart of the Montgomery area, this place is bright and industrial chic. The service was very friendly and the food came out quickly. Tons of vegetarian and vegan friendly options made this place already high on my must try list. You can choose between new York style and Detroit style pizza. I went with the excellent mozzarella sticks as a classic starter followed by a small (4 small pieces) Detroit style spinach and ricotta pizza with cherry tomatoes added. First time at Taglio on our Friday pizza night. We decided to try both Detroit style and New York style: NY was the Old Schooler and Detroit was the pepperoni and hot honey - both small size since it was just two of us. We ordered a small Greek salad to split while we waited. Hubby also had a blonde ale, which had an almost rose color to it; he didn't love it but did appreciate the full pour in his pint glass. Salad was very good. The Detroit style pepperoni pizza won the contest - nice and crispy, good spice/sweet flavor. The NY Old school was also tasty but more on the average style good fresh tasting sauce though. We would try either style again with different flavors to fully test them out! One of my favorite pizza spots for sure! First, there's plenty of parking. The inside sitting area is pretty big too. Maybe I've gotten lucky, but I've never had to wait to be seated, which is great if you need last minute dinner plans! The food is delicious. Most recently I split a medium New York style pizza and did half pineapple chipotle (no bacon) and half Asiago chicken. Loved the chipotle! The Asiago was pretty good but felt a bit too cheesy for me. I've tried the buffalo chicken and margherita in the past, both excellent! While on a business trip in Ohio, I tried the lunch special at Taglio-Montgomery, which included a Caesar salad, pizza, and a drink. I added some extras to enhance the meal--chicken on my Caesar salad and extra toppings on the pizza--and even with the additional cost, it was still very affordable. The salad was outstanding, with fresh, in-house croutons that added great flavor. I'm not usually big on salads, but this one had me wanting more! The pizza was also delicious, made with fresh ingredients, and had a perfect balance of flavors. The manager greeted us and gave a rundown of the menu, and the staff was friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely return. I got the old schooler and it didn't disappoint. It looks smaller in size than I remember though. Speaking of cost/price, I was appalled at the mozzarella sticks appetizer we ordered. They charged $12 for 4 sticks. How are you supposed to share 4 whole sticks at a table? One per person? $3 each? I expected at least 6 for the price. It's expensive so we don't get it as often as I'd like! Often we select extra sauce and pizza places still skimp on it despite our extra charge but taglio did a fantastic job today with the extra tomato sauce which on the tomato basil is more like fresh crushed tomatoes - delish!! There are a few parking spots right outside taglio otherwise a whole parking lot which includes nearby businesses. The place itself looked spacious, perfect for any gathering. We love taglio, knocked off a star due to high prices. Our large Detroit style tomato basil pizza with extra sauce and add jalapeños was $30. Extra sauce and jalapeños each cost $3 additional! Decided to try out Taglio for my birthday dinner. We had a large party, and were afforded a window view in the main dining area. We were all seated as we arrived, and our server was spot-on with refills, appetizers, and generally checking in with us without making us feel it was his job to do so. Our orders were taken as soon as the party decided what we wanted, and I know the conversation taken seconds off the wait, but it seemed the pizzas arrived quickly. Everyone was pleased with the generous portions and quality of the food. I can't consider myself an expert of Detroit-style pizza, but after visiting Taglio, I wouldn't mind becoming one. One of our choices was a hot-honey pizza. They drizzle hot honey over a pepperoni pizza.
