Nice wall

The place is really nice. They got a couple of different areas you can eat in outside and inside. The bar was beautiful. It had over 100 types of different whiskeys. The pizza was delicious. Only thing I wish I would've asked for I don't even know if they would've done, it was to get it. Cut in squares, but everything was wonderful. It's a really nice place. The staff was extremely sweet as well.

This location just keeps giving and giving... love the multi-levels, patios, and staircases. It's like a labyrinth of pizza! Half-priced Mondays are a steal. 12in pizzas for half price (originally starting at $14). Goodfellas is so, so good. I had ample toppings which can be hard to come by as most local pizzerias are stingy on their toppings. Loooved the nacho cheese sauce option for their giant breadsticks. Customer service was superb from the cashier to the chef. Once they realized they had misread my order, it was very quickly rectified with a huge portion of the topping missed. I couldn't ask for better service. My daughter and I took a trip to the very top level and the views are stunning of Pendleton. The swanky brown couches and rustic wood are gorgeous and elevate the dining experience. I would absolutely bring friends or my husband for a date!

We were in the mood for some good pizza, and this was close by. The building exudes that old time brick NY feel. They were rushed a bit but all in all good. From ordering to pizza, it was maybe twenty minutes. There is no table service once you order. We headed upstairs to find seats near the bar. We ordered the namesake "Goodfellas" pizza and the Vinnie for our party of four. The guys thought the meat toppings on the Goodfella were kind of light give the cost and description. The Vinnie was great with the olive oil base. The ambiance was solid and could see us grabbing a drink here too.

One of my favorite places in OTR. They have a great lunch deal that ends at 3PM with huge slices of pizza that need two plates. The employees were super nice and told me about the upstairs seating. I also tried outside when the weather was warmer.

I had literally just stepped out of a multiple hour dinner affair at a nearby restaurant but wasn't about to vomit from the quantity I ate so I felt obliged to stop into this place for a slice. There were legit bouncers outside which I initially found intimidating. I didn't realize you had to provide an ID to get pizza. Is that an Ohio thing? Interesting. There was a line but it moved quick. I ordered a classic cheese slice but the bread sticks, which are about as long as GF is tall, were too appealing to pass up. I selected marinara to accompany that shit. I saw somewhere that they are claiming to be NY pizza. I grew up in NY so NY pizza is my baseline. I don't know where it falls on the scale between cincinnati pizza and NY pizza but it isn't NY pizza. It was, however, decent in its own way. Not good enough where I felt compelled to finish it at the time but I did take care of it the following morning. There wasn't nearly enough sauce. I did like the crust, which held up pretty well. There was a flavor that was unique and enjoyable. Ultimately, it was mostly bread and cheese which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just not what I consider pizza. The breadstick was massive and good enough. The marinara sauce wasn't great tho.

We just stopped in for a slice of pizza and glad we did . The staff was friendly and the slice I had I enjoyed my daughter's slice was to dry for her not enough sauce . My veggie slice was delicious.

I've never heard of this place until last night and I think, in my opinion, it's very much a hidden gem in Cincinnati. The food was phenomenal and the atmosphere on the main floor felt like a movie pizza joint! Absolutely stunning! I didn't think it could get any better... and then we went upstairs! The upstairs was beautifully set up with three ginormous shelves of liquor and perfect lighting. Service was great as well! Absolutely would recommend going here!!!!

How do you visit OTR and not swing by Goodfellas?! Pizza is always fresh, salads are yummy and it's all ready to go! Spend as much or as little time here- considering there's a bar on the second floor, there isn't a reason to leave. Employees are always engaged and working hard. The place is small so if you see a line just be patient- the line moves quickly and it's worth it! Pizza by the slice, memories by the handful!

Crispy foldable crust, slice bigger than plate, amazing price. Lady serving behind the counter provided excellent service. No notes.

Amazing Pizza by the slice. It's a New York style pizza. We got one slice apiece and was more than enough.

Came here during restaurant week just to try the restaurant and can say I will be back!…read more I ordered the Ceaser salad with the short rib empanada and short rib gnocchi. The Ceaser salad was the best Ceaser salad I ever had! The short rib empanada and the gnocchi was good as well but the gnocchi was covered in scallions. That wasn't stated on the menu or by our server when I asked if onions were in the dish, so unfortunately I did have to send that back and have it remade then ate the rest once I got back home. I also tried the Black Angus NY and it melt in my mouth like butter. They were busy and it did take a while for the food to come out but the wait was worth it.

Wow! What a way to spend our 1 year wedding anniversary! I loved this place…read more It has been a few months since eating here but I still find myself thinking about it. Our next trip to Cincinnati; It will be extremely difficult to stay away from here. We spent the day in Newport and around Cincinnati and wanted somewhere nice for the occasion. I was iffy on this place at first... you can throw a rock all over America and hit a place with 'Barrel' in the name these days. The Yelp reviews swing both ways here but I'm here to tell you my take... because it swings so far towards the 5 stars that it's very much a 6 or 7 star place(maybe more). We gauged our arrival time based on other activities that day. We wanted ample time at the nearby Lego exhibit so when we arrived there, we made a reservation for 4:30-5. Eating early and making our way back to Louisville was a great idea. The entire time we were there, no one else came in so we had the entire place to ourselves(It was a Friday). The atmosphere is homey but during busy times, I could see it being noisy. The booths could easily fit 6 people comfortably... probably 8 in some cases depending on how wide some of you are. Special Note: This place highlights The Parrillada Experience for Two on their menu and we wanted it! We didn't order it because at a price tag of 130-and pictures online, we didn't want it to be a failed outing. After our first trip, The Parrillada Exp will be on the agenda next time. It's a mixture of different steaks, sausages, shrimp, sides, and salads. Definitely worth the cost. On to the food: Sausage App - Argentine Chorizo. Farmhouse Sausage. Grilled Ciabatta. Hearts of Palm. Green/Red chimichurri. Pepper Relish. I don't like ordering this type of dish when I go places because you never know if it's going to be delicious or very bad. It ended up being super delicious. We couldn't make up our mind which sauce we liked the best and which meat we liked the best. App PERFECTION! Land and Sea - This is what my wife went with. Asada Skirt Steak. Jumbo Shrimp. Asparagus. Red chimichurri butter. I had bites of the shrimp and it was good. I had to save room for my dish. Wagyu Denver Cut - I went back and forth. Lobster ravioli being on the menu almost made my decision instant but I was going back and forth between ravioli, steak, and a few other things. I asked the server which he recommended of the 4 Chef's cuts. He recommended two... one of which was the Wagyu so I went with it. I wasn't disappointed AT ALL. He mentioned that the Wagyu Denver Cut was a new addition to the menu... I'm not sure but you could definitely tell it was cooked, arranged, and presented with care. I savored every angle of every bite. We also ordered a side of brussels because of course! Originally we were going to dessert somewhere else but went ahead and ordered the Hazelnut Vanilla Creme Brulee here. Perfect ending to the meal. This brulee was light and had the right amount of crunch. It was also larger than expected. We had no complaints with this place. Easily one of the better restaurants I've had in Cincinnati. If you're doubting visiting this place, take the dive! Other notes: They have beer and a small cocktail variety but they primarily seem focused on wine(plenty of options to choose from).

The server and manager were very friendly and apologetic for the inconvenience. The food is 7-8/10. It always comes out fresh and plated nicely. I ordered their chicken sandwich and that was good! My family shared a lot of our entrees, I feel their poultry and seafood are their best. The pork chop though tender, wasn't incredibly tasty. I have not tried a beef dish. The dessert was delicious! The manager recommended eating the pan a cotta and pan de crème together and that was soooo good! It was a nice, light dessert but very tasty! I would definitely recommend trying it

The good first, though: Whatever the flaws in its business model, Green District still turns out well-conceptualized salads that always seem fresh and tasty. The Hide & Go Greek is a very nice chicken one with a robust, terrific dressing. The Thai One On salad is (you guessed it) an Asian-influenced one with shrimp, lots of cabbage and cilantro, and a kind of generic but fresh-tasting Asian-style ginger-heavy dressing. Also very good. Fortunate thing you can order online and don't have to verbalize those unwieldy salad names to a fellow human. (But if you think those names are bad, another one wants you to hold its beer: the Tequila Mockingbird.). Anyway, the food gets this to three stars, but only barely. Alas, the service at this location is a shambles. Count on at least a 35-minute wait, even if you order right after 11am, when things presumably ought not to be backed up. And it looks like chaos back there--just not enough employees back there, most likely. Last time it took this restaurant an incomprehensible 50 minutes to get my salad out. (Who with a regular lunch "hour" downtown has time for this?) Credit to the unflappable and put-upon young fella at the end of the line; he kept doing his job steadily and kept cheerful about it. The manager is always madly rushing about and isn't nearly as cheery (but it almost certainly isn't her fault, either). It astonishing that the food can be is good as it is in this environment. There's something very wrong about this restaurant's business model when the family-run lunch spot down the street (seemingly just as many orders) can crank out your to-go salad (as good as here, for the most part) in three to five minutes and be as friendly as they can be about it. Whoever came up with the plan has some major issues to resolve.
