I ordered the pepperoni, bacon, and pineapple pizza as it was decent, and there was definitely a big rush of people grabbing pizza, which helped convince me to give it a try. The place is really nice. They got a couple of different areas you can eat in outside and inside. The bar was beautiful. It had over 100 types of different whiskeys. The pizza was delicious. I had ample toppings which can be hard to come by as most local pizzerias are stingy on their toppings. Loooved the nacho cheese sauce option for their giant breadsticks. Customer service was superb from the cashier to the chef. Once they realized they had misread my order, it was very quickly rectified with a huge portion of the topping missed. I couldn't ask for better service. My daughter and I took a trip to the very top level and the views are stunning of Pendleton. From ordering to pizza, it was maybe twenty minutes. There is no table service once you order. We headed upstairs to find seats near the bar. We ordered the namesake "Goodfellas" pizza and the Vinnie for our party of four. The guys thought the meat toppings on the Goodfella were kind of light give the cost and description. I have stopped by twice recently: the first to get my daughter food to enjoy at Pins and the second for a weekday work lunch. In both instances, the line went very quickly and the staff was very pleasant. The pizza itself is above average. I am sure it's better when it's hot... Both times it was a bit lukewarm.. but good. I had literally just stepped out of a multiple hour dinner affair at a nearby restaurant but wasn't about to vomit from the quantity I ate so I felt obliged to stop into this place for a slice. There were legit bouncers outside which I initially found intimidating. I didn't realize you had to provide an ID to get pizza. Is that an Ohio thing? Interesting. There was a line but it moved quick. I ordered a classic cheese slice but the bread sticks, which are about as long as GF is tall, were too appealing to pass up. I selected marinara to accompany that shit. I saw somewhere that they are claiming to be NY pizza. I grew up in NY so NY pizza is my baseline. I don't know where it falls on the scale between cincinnati pizza and NY pizza but it isn't NY pizza. It was, however, decent in its own way. Not good enough where I felt compelled to finish it at the time but I did take care of it the following morning. There wasn't nearly enough sauce. I did like the crust, which held up pretty well. There was a flavor that was unique and enjoyable. Ultimately, it was mostly bread and cheese which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just not what I consider pizza. The breadstick was massive and good enough. The marinara sauce wasn't great tho. read more

It's literally 3 stories with the most insane rustic bar you could think of. The kind with the sliding ladder. It was late on Saturday night and we just got into Cincinnati. We tried a couple restaurants but they stop serving food around 9pm to 10pm. When we were walking out of another restaurant a guy was nice enough to recommend Goodfellas pizza. We walked to it which on a cold winter night may have not been to smart. I ordered a Calzone and a caprese salad. My husband order a 12 inch pizza. We both were pleasantly surprised and so full we couldn't finish all the food. I really liked the sauce because it was on the sweeter side. The pizza looked delicious. The place was crowded, it really may be the only place open late in the night. We love to people watch while waiting for our food. The food was made fresh as it was ordered. We highly recommend Goodfellas for friendly staff and good food. read more

Pretty decent overall! I'm a New Yorker and even more so I'm from the Bronx. So pizza is my thing. I thought the pizza was decent here, the sauce was thicker than I'd like but good flavor. The pizza had major bubbles that's just a cooking thing...it's NY style not brick oven. The bread sticks are ridiculously long but good flavor. The cheese was good as well, the deinks are free refill and the prices are about $4 a slice. Can't complain about price 3 slices a mega long breadstick and a side of sauce and 2 drinks $25. I just tried Goodfellas yesterday for the first time while meeting with some friends. We walked in & ordered - I ordered a 12 inch pie to go since they had half-off that size on Mondays, so I would have some to bring home to my family. For myself I ordered a single slice, which I chose from behind the glass. It had cheese & jalapeños & was HUGE! I also ordered a breadstick that was about the length of my arm & split it with a friend. Everyone was nice & helpful. We went upstairs to the Wiseguy Lounge to eat. I ordered an amaretto sour white egg white from the bar & it was very good - I would definitely come check the bar out again (voted best bourbon bar by the Bourbon Review). The service there was great as well. I have never been to NY or had their pizza, so I have nothing to compare it to as far as that goes, but I will say it was a very good pizza, though not the best I've had. I unfortunately was only able to eat about half of the slice I ordered in-house, but the pepperoni had a great flavor to it & they were big pieces. The breadstick was awesome - my friend & I both really enjoyed it. It was covered in garlic butter, Parmesan, & oregano & you get to choose a dipping sauce (we went with marinara). The pizza I brought home to my family was also very good. For that pizza I ordered the Goodfella, which had pepperoni, Italian rope sausage, ground beef, & bacon. My husband & I each enjoyed some later in the evening & it was quite good - I know it's going to be a big hit with my son, too. Goodfellas is similar to Mikey's, but I like it better! Their bread sticks are GREAT! We went for Cincy pizza week and got the specialty pizza with pepperoni and pickles. It was pretty good. I love this pizza place and frequent it often. I have been probably around six or seven times total. Most of the time to sit down and only a couple of times to take it to go. Most of my experiences have been amazing but I have had one bad experience that I am taking a star off for. Overall the staff is friendly, facilities are clean and it has a cute courtyard area behind it with seating and a big sign that says OTR. My only bad experience is when me and a group of friends were hanging out at the location and we were harassed by a homeless man while trying to eat our food inside the restaurant at a table sitting down. He sat at our table and began asking us for pizza repeatedly and wouldn't stop. Eventually we gave in and bought him a slice so that he would leave us alone. But we quickly left afterwords because we were still being harassed by him. On our way out the staff told us that he wasn't allowed in there but they did not do anything about it. If this had been my only experience here I would have rated this place a single star. I was left feeling very uncomfortable with the whole restaurant for a bit afterwords but I still tend to go whenever I crave their delicious product or when friends want to go. read more
