I LOVE this place. They may single-handedly have the best margaritas in town. Tasty and strong -- just how I like them. Every time I go, the drinks are consistent and well-balanced, and they don't skimp. I usually pop in for a quick happy hour with friends or former coworkers, and it's perfect for that. So far I've had the deviled eggs and the potato latkes, and both were really good -- great little bites to pair with a margarita. The vibes are super cute, cozy, and welcoming. I cannot wait until the weather warms up so I can sit out on the patio -- it's going to be such a whole mood. The staff is always friendly and helpful, which makes the experience even better. Unbelievable experience this morning at brunch. My friend and I each ordered a regular coffee and a bowl of French onion soup plus a Croque Madame to share. Our server brought all three food dishes out at the same time, which we could not even fit on the small table without taking off some things to put on the bench next to me. The soup was tasty, but mostly large cubes of bread with practically no cheese at all. The Croque Madame had no discernible cheese on it at all. The worst part: we each requested a coffee refill (one was never offered), and our server poured half of my friend's topped up coffee directly from her cup into my cup! I was so shocked that I was speechless. To top off this incredible faux pas, she split the check into two without asking, and I was treating my friend. Instead of bringing a new check as I requested, she had me sign her tablet that just showed the total, with no breakout, had me fill in her tip, and then walked away with neither asking me if I wanted a receipt, which of course I did, nor providing me with one. First let me say I feel bad I didn't take a picture of my deviled eggs I got as an appetizer. They really looked amazing and tasted even better. I came it with my best friend for a late lunch, he had been here before and recommended it. He isn't a foodie but if he recommends something I have to try it. We sat at the bar, ordered some coffees, I got a latte, that was served with this super yummy cookie. I also ordered deviled eggs because I want too hungry, but I also have never seen deviled eggs on a coffee/wine bar menu as an appetizer. After waiting ten minutes for the table to be cleared off (the couple left about 2 mins after we asked for the table), another worker came and told us that we couldn't sit outside at the now empty table because they needed it for a larger group with a reservation 15 mins after our own. We decided to cut our losses and go to Sleepy Bee next door. I stopped by in the late afternoon for a snack and a latte to give me a boost of energy before dinner. My vanilla latte was exactly what I was looking for and did not disappoint. My coworker and I ordered the whipped goat feta appetizer with pita and veggies for $15 and it came topped with seeetie drop peppers, micro greens, and extra virgin olive oil. We would have licked the plate clean if we hadn't been sharing it. It comes beautifully separated and you stir the two together. It is way more tart than sweet and really tastes fresh. I ordered the Brie croissant sandwich with turkey, and a side of soup of the day, which was salmon lobster bisque. Another person came up to tell me they were out of turkey, and offered prosciutto, and I asked if there were any other options. She came back a few minutes later to tell me they could do. Chicken thigh on the sandwich instead, but there would be an additional up charge. I was flummoxed by that. If you don't have ingredients, then you should sub without gouging your guest. The "neighborhood social house" is a coffee shop, restaurant, and wine store all in one. We opted to sit inside where it was cooler. Bob Ross was playing on the TV, and it was pretty busy for a late lunch. I selected a small bistro salad with the gluten-free bun, and my partner ordered avocado toast with smoked salmon. The salad had a base of peppery arugula and was loaded with berries, oranges, nuts, and sweet drop peppers. Very tasty and filling. The GF bun was slightly sweet, toasted and buttered. Also good! My partner enjoyed his toast, especially the smoked salmon. Had we not been joining friends later, we definitely would have tried a dessert. Hopefully, next time we're in town. For wine I think this place is an absolute win. Good variety and their club membership has great benefits if you plan to be a regular. The food menu however left a lot to be desired. Nothing was stellar and they must be attempting to take minimalism to the next level because every dish was plated in the smallest serving style ever. Don't bother coming here for dinner. Options are very limited and not good. Came here with 6 people and we all ordered the charred brussel sprout salad with salmon as it was the only item that sounded appetizing. Warning: it only has 3 brussel sprouts. They only brought out 5 salads, completing ignoring our sixth person who received nothing. Server apologized and said she would bring another salad. 20 minutes go by and we finally receive the sixth salad. It's hard to believe but the salmon was raw on one side. After informing the server, she said the chef checked the temperature and confirmed it was cooked. We showed her the side that was raw and she agreed it's raw. Unbelievable. The kitchen made another salad but it had completely different ingredients to the other 5 we received. Never mind the fact that we had to wait another 30 minutes to get the salad... shocking. To top it off, the server said "we will comp the salad but the chef said you have to pay for the salmon". We couldn't believe our ears. Clearly the chef at this restaurant is a bit too proud and unable to own his or her mistakes. I've never seen such behavior at a sit down restaurant. This is not a large restaurant, but it has a really lovely atmosphere, and an adorable, covered,patio for warm days. What we ordered: caramel latte, hazelnut cappuccino (oat milk), French omelette with cheese (served with side salad), charcuterie board, and Muhammad dip with grilled pita and crudites. First, let me say absolutely every thing we ordered was wonderful. The French omelette was the winner for both my mother and I. It was so silky smooth and delicate. The chef came out when the charcuterie was presented and explained each item. This is one of the most beautiful charcuterie boards I've had in the area, especially for the price. They have a unique menu with bistro-like options and an extensive wine selection. I've tried the gnocchi with added bacon. It was perfect pillows with a nice outer crisp. I loved it with a light alfredo sauce. For breakfast I've gotten the Banana Fosters Crepe. The bananas were deliciously bruleed and the custard filling was tasty. My only problem is the service is terribly slow. Even if empty and only dining with one or two other people, I've waited near 40 minutes for food. They have also been slow to bring the check at the end of the meal too. I needed to leave once and had to keep waiting around, as I was unable to get the server's attention, who rarely stopped by anyway. One person ordered the Croque Monsieur Sandwiches and added the poached egg. We ended up ordering another one for the table to split - that sandwich was really good! The shallots and pomegranate citrus gave it a delightfully distinct flavor. It was slightly salty ad slightly acidic. It was SO good! Mark ordered the Eggs Benedict. One Star based on overall service. We had dinner reservations last night at 7:45 and arrived on time. We were seated quickly at a table for two. The restaurant was full at the time and most people were eating their dinners. There appeared to possibly be a private party that was being held outside on the covered deck. We ordered a glass of wine and a soda which was delivered promptly and then placed our order for dinner. My wife ordered a salad and the salmon and I the Croque Monsieur with onion soup. By 8:45 the interior of the restaurant was virtually empty, except for a few other customers, and we had still not been served our food. When it did finally arrive after being told several times that it was almost ready. The server gave us both our salad and soup at the same time as our entrées. We then had to make the choice of whether we wanted to eat a cold entrée or a cold soup and salad. The food was excellent, but it was not exactly the best experience having to wait 45 to 50 minutes to be able to have our dinner all at once. I think there has to have been better communication between the kitchen and our server and us as well about what was being prepared and when and how it would be served. After dinner, my wife had espresso and I had the Affogato, which was terrific. We have come to dinner there many times and really like the food, but this was not the best experience. read more

Saturday afternoons are my "me time," and I often look for a new coffee shop to check out. Somewhere I can sit and enjoy a coffee while I read or work on a project. Earlier this month, that place was The Park Pour. While very unassuming from the outside, I would equate the inside to a fine dining experience in both price and atmosphere. I got a chai latte expecting to be disappointed (it's hard finding a great one!), and I was pleasantly surprised. I would say this chai latte is the best in the city! It was incredible. A very strong chai flavor with lots of cinnamon on top. Perfect. I also had the deviled eggs and stuffed cabbage soup. The soup resembled French onion in appearance but had a surprisingly sweet flavor. The deviled eggs were definitely the prettiest I've seen and were unique in that they used pickled eggs and topped with honey flakes and chili. I would recommend both. The inside is super small and not great for sitting and working or reading - not super comfortable seating and very small tables. However, this would be a great place for a date night! read more

I had the most amazing experience at the park pour today, it was my first time and I'm definitely coming back! I started with brunch, had their French omelet which came with mixed greens. This is the best omelet I've ever had. It was soft and buttery and filled with spring veggies which right now is corn, edamame and tomatoes! Sounds strange but it tasted so good! The salad came with little sweetie drops which look like baby peppadews but have a little kick! So tasty. I stayed and worked for a few hours and got a latte and muffin for an afternoon snack. The lemon muffin is the perfect little size and so tasty. The latte art was beautiful! The staff are so friendly and check in whenever you need them. There is a private parking lot and outdoor patio seating! With fans If it's too hot. And free WiFi. I could've spent all day here. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! What a wonderful post walk weekend brunch spot! We were lucky enough to snag a table before the place filled up at noon, starting with a sizable drip coffee and a refreshingly unsweetened iced matcha latte. Hubby and I enjoyed the avocado toast, but the moofahn of the day (on my fav blue oven English muffin!) stole the show. We frequent here for breakfast and it's the perfect spot for families or even weekday business meetings.
