We rented the "Schaffer's Mill Vacation Lodge with Golf Access". Schaffer's Mill is a beautiful complex with a lovely golf course and golf clubhouse that includes a pool for adults/kids, changing rooms etc. within the clubhouse. Unfortunately, while you can get access to the golf course (must contact TSP in advance to set this up and extra costs incurred) you cannot access any of the other amenities. This may not be important to you, but as a family with two young kids, there was a lot of disappointment about being 20+ minutes away from any swimming options in the June heat. We tried to contact TSP to remedy this, but were told there was no solution and our fault for assuming that golf access meant access to golf clubhouse (along with activities listed that included "swimming" for the property). It does appear that they have made the lack of included amenities more clear on the listing now, so for that I am grateful to have improved the experience for any future families looking for a good summer spot for kids -- would look elsewhere. The house itself is decently maintained, kitchen is well stocked for a rental (no basics like sugar, butter, oil etc.), the beds were comfortable, ample space. The layout is a little weird with two bedrooms on ground floor and the master off the kitchen. Although the house backs up to the golf course, there is no access to the course from the house (except through bushes) so there was very little outdoor space for kids to run around. We had an issue with the front door that TSP responded to quickly. read more

Stayed at the Falcon Point Place property for my daughter's wedding weekend! The house was amazing and filled with great amenities. The views from inside the home and from the deck are photo worthy and lend themselves to the feeling that you are floating atop the trees! Will definitely be back again soon! read more

We stayed at the Alpine Meadows Chalet condo for 3 nights in December. Easy to book, and no big issues while we were there. The condo is right next to the ski resort, with snow on the hill, right outside the sliding door!. My daughter loved being able to walk right out to play in it. We stayed with another couple. The upstairs master is loft style, so no door on it. Plenty private still, as it is around the corner up the stairs. Great, cozy cabin-like condo in a great location, and with a 1 car garage that fit our Suburban! And dog-friendly! We stay at private rentals several times a year. The only things that stood out to me that could be improved upon are as follows. 1. Another chair or two in the living room, we were always short one space for comfy seating. 2. The hot water heater ran out of hot water quite quickly during morning showers. 3. Both TV's were in the living room for some reason, instead of one up in the master like the pictures show. Maybe it wasn't working? We used the smaller one to hook up our Roku. We would definitely stay here again if we need a rental in this area! read more

Unfortunately, this firm operates with a lack of integrity and does not have the Property Owners best interests in mind. If you are in the market for a Short Term Rental Mgt Co. in my opinion I would keep looking for a firm that is more established and has built a solid reputation as a Professional Firm, this one has not. read more

We stayed in a beautiful house in Kings Beach over the MLK weekend that Tahoe Signature Properties manages. It was great, came as described on VRBO. We had an outage with the cable which they addressed after hours. The house had the basics items, but also soap & shampoo in the bathrooms (not all properties do). We had a wonderful time at a Tahoe Signature Property, through VRBO, in Tahoe/Donner. The house was lovely, fully equipped with everything we needed, and exceptionally clean. The property had a fenced in area for the dog, including doggy poop bags! Our six year old grandson spent lots of time playing corn holes in the backyard, and we all loved the location of the property, particularly it's access to a lovely trail right behind it. We all voted to go back to the same property next year! Tahoe Signature Properties were a pleasure to work with, from the moment we booked the property up to the end of our vacation. All in all, a marvelous experience that we will never forget and we would recommend Tahoe Signature Properties, without hesitation. read more

Check-in instructions were very easy and we were glad that we did not have to do too much upon check-out. Our family stayed at the Skislope Vacation cabin the weekend of 7/27-7/29 and we enjoyed our stay. Our trip to Bass Lake was unfortunately cancelled last minute due to the fires and we were lucky enough to find this cabin in Tahoe Donner Lake area. The house was nicely decorated and was fully equipped. The property management was easy to contact and provided us with easy check in/out procedures. It is close to the freeway, gasoline and grocery stores. Unfortunately, it didn't have air conditioning but thankfully we were able to cool off by opening the windows and it cooled off in the later evening hours. We stayed at one of the properties managed by this company in March of 2019. The directions for check-in were very clear, which was great since we arrived there late at night. They had turned on the heat ahead of time for us - such a nice touch! The room our kids stayed in had bunk beds, which they love. The house was VERY clean and well appointed. The master bedroom we stayed in was humongous and had a jetted tub in the bathroom - such a nice treat after a long day of skiing. The sheets were soft and the mattress was comfy. It also had a garage for parking the car inside - also wonderful when its so cold overnight. There were hooks for the skis, a few snow toys that were available to use. The house was warm, cozy, decorated nicely (updated) and most importantly - very clean. The location in Kings Beach was really convenient to many restaurants and of course, Kings Beach itself which is beautiful year round. read more

I normally don't write reviews and especially on Yelp, but I feel it's only fair that I write this one. I originally gave her great review on AirBnB and she ended up writing a very negative post on me through AirBnB insinuating that I had more guests than what I told her (which was not true) since we moved furniture around, and that we left the place a mess and did not follow check out instructions. I booked a rental house with Dana in Kings Beach through AirBnB. I will never use AirBnB or Tahoe Signature Properties again based on how rudely Dana was in her public post about me. Let me say that we left the place just like how we found it. For $1600+ for 3 nights, which includes a $300 cleaning fee, I don't think she should have complained about us being there and should be lucky to get renters there at all. Dana is not good at communicating as well. After we book the place on AirBnB, we were charged the fee right away but didn't have any check-in information/confirmation. I didn't get any check-in information until 5 days leading up to the travel date. I ended up emailing back and forth to at least 5 times. It turned out that she had a typo in my email address, so I wasn't getting her emails until the day before our travel date. I think if you don't want renters at your house--you should just not list it on AirBnB. When I originally booked the place, I told her 6 adults and 4 kids. It actually ended up being 4 adults and 5 kids. Two adults did not make the trip due to bad weather conditions, and it ended up being 5 kids because I decided to take my 2 year old daughter with us. She was not part of the original plan, but she's 2 and she decided last minute to not stay with her grandparents. So we actually had less guests than what I told her originally. Dana complained about furniture being moved around and all the bed sheets being used (not sure why she is surprise with that), which probably why she thinks we had more guests. We had 5 kids from 2-9 years old. The kids at times wanted to sleep in one room, then the next night wanted to sleep with parents, then one night we had one father sleep in another room since he stays up late and the 2 year old needs to go to bed early, etc. Yes-- movable mini futons furniture were moved around from one room to the next, but we did not move any permanent furniture like beds,sofa,etc. Also--we did move the coffee table to the side of the living room since the sharp corner edges was not kid friendly and the kids all congregate in the living room floor. If you have young children, you would know that traveling with them would require moving some furniture to accomodate them for their safety. There was no official rules about moving furniture around. If she didn't want people moving furniture, then she should have put that in her instructions. The condition of the house when we arrived was horrible. There was trash still in the garage, dirty dishes in the kitchen, and a disgusting tray full of something like bacon-oil in the kitchen, not to mention a smelly odor in the house upon arrival. Regardless of these negative issues, given the abnormal circumstances on Sunday thru Tuesday of the horrendous snowstorm, I would have expected a nicer behavior from Dana given that we had to spend over 4 hours shoveling snow just to leave the driveway. Having an understanding of the difficulties that other people face is an important part of living in the universe. We did not initially complain of the bad condition of your place upon arrival, as it is what it is. Similarly, I would have expected a more empathetic response from Dana given that we had to spend 4 hours on Tuesday morning trying to leave the house while shoveling snow and clearing the driveway. There was over 2 feet of snow blanketing the entire driveway. I am sure you know that shoveling 2 feet of snow from this driveway is not a simple feat nor that it can be done in less than 4 hours when done by hand. Check out time was 10am, so you can imagine trying to get out that early with all that snow and small children....all the while trying to clean her house (she ask you to turn down the temp, put dishes in dishwasher and start the wash, put towels on floor, and take out trash). Cleaning ladies were supposed to be at the house by 10am, but we didn't see them. The only check out instructions we didn't do was take out the trash due to short timing--which the last renter didn't do either since there was trash when we arrived. What is the point of having cleaning company come if they can't take the trash out or start the dishwasher (which we did) and especially we are paying the cleaning fee of $300. You won't have that cleaning fee at a hotels or Bed N Breakfast places. For the price you pay to stay at her property--save your headache with dealing with her and book a hotel at the local ski resort. That $1600+ price that we paid for 3 nights probably covered their entire monthly mortgage. read more
