Our experience with Tahoe Getaways was disappointing from start to finish. We paid a premium price expecting a premium vacation rental, but the property was not prepared for guests. The home had visible mold in the downstairs bathroom, a broken shower door, broken screen doors, a pocket door that wouldn't close, dirty floors, and it was missing basic household supplies that we ended up buying ourselves. The biggest concern was an active mouse trap left in an area accessible to our four-year-old daughter. We contacted Tahoe Getaways immediately and received polite responses, but the proposed solution was to send maintenance and cleaners during our vacation. We chose not to spend our limited family time with people working inside the rental. These are issues that should have been addressed before check-in, especially after we were told the home had passed its final inspection. We own rental properties ourselves, so we understand that things occasionally go wrong. What matters is ensuring a property is clean, safe, and ready before guests arrive. Unfortunately, that standard was not met during our stay. I hope management uses this feedback to improve its inspection process so future guests have a better experience than we did. read more

A getaway with my husband was great at Sandy Cove in Tahoe Vista. We road bike paths from Incline Village to Sand Harbor, swam in the lake daily, and even enjoyed rain one day (relief from fire risk). Our little cabin was next to the lake--not immediately but literally a few steps away and viewable from our porch. The space was updated and very clean and comfortable. Nice for relaxing indoors or on the private beach. Food and fun restaurants were either walkable or a short drive. Tahoe Getaways staff are helpful and responsive. read more

This cabin is amazing in every way! Location was just outside of Tahoe City and near the Tahoe Bakery (yum!). Communication for check in and all was great. We stayed 5 nights at a property in Old Greenwood at the star of summer. It was very well stocked with kitchen supplies, was clean, and easy to get to the pool by bike or car for our family of 4. We had an issue come up the first night of our stay (whole house fire alarm went off at 4AM). Marissa was extremely proactive about sending out a tech the following day, and accommodating by proactively giving us a late checkout for our troubles. We were at the pool every day and loved being able to take the kids out on the golf course after our round and after 5PM. Great experience and recommend Tahoe Getaways! read more

We booked the snowbird cabin in NorthStar for my birthday weekend. let me start off my saying, it was a great experience. I was surprised to find this cabin available due to January is a hot week in Lake Tahoe. Tahoe Getaway and their members were all great, and took their time to respond back to me within minutes. Great team to book with!! The Cabin. 1.very clean inside. Freshly remodeled. 2. All the rooms had fresh bedding and soft pillows. (Every time I travel I bring my own pillow since some places have either too stiff or too soft pillows) But this cabin had two sets of pillows on each bed!! 3. Bathrooms had a big bottle of hand soap, shampoo, body wash and conditioner. And apart from that. The tile floors were HEATED !! 4. Setting. The cabin was very cozy and a free shuttle ride to the NorthStar village that's 5min away, with many food options. The ice rink, snow live music. It was an amazing time. Thank you Tahoe getaway for everything. And I would recommend this company to anyone if you're looking to book a place in the Lake Tahoe area. read more

Large common area and outside deck with a sparkling clean hot tub and gas BBQ. Two garage with ample room for 2 REGULAR sized SUV's and 2 parking spaces on driveway. Northstar Shuttle pick up service a breeze on the App from your door to resort back to the your front door in minutes! TIP: Be ready!! Kitchen just needs more than 1 pot- lots of lids but only 1 pot.
