My in laws boarded their dog George for 2 weeks while they were oot visiting their newborn grandson. The kennel provided no photos or updates, but no news is good news right? Wrong. He was skin and bones, would not hold his head up, and is having difficulty walking. I've provided photos of the dog before and after. The owners response is that the dog is hyperactive. Sure, some dogs in certain angles can show ribs and be 100% healthy. This is not that. I hope that anyone considering subjecting their pets to this type of treatment thinks twice. I'll also be posting a video and my review to as many other outlets as possible. Please please do not use this business to board your pet.

When I picked up my pet, his leg was hurt so badly, he could not walk. We had to take him to the vet for treatment and because of this acquired an extremely high bill. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this dog kennel to anyone. If you truly care for your pet, please carefully choose a boarding facility that provides a safe and healthy environment where pets are treated with compassion and attention. Please be warned that this kennel may not provide adequate care for your pet. I hope this information saves others from the misfortune that my pet had experienced.

Jay is truly the best groomer I've ever trusted with my dog and I don't say that lightly. I moved…read morefrom LA to Atlanta and went through several disappointing grooming experiences before finding him, and now I wouldn't let anyone else touch her. He gets it right every single time, no exceptions. My dog gets a lamb cut, which requires way more than just clippers it takes serious precision and skill with scissors, and Jay absolutely nails it. The attention to detail, the consistency, and the care he puts into his work are unmatched. People literally stop me all the time to ask who her groomer is, and I always send them straight to Jay that's how good he is. You can tell he genuinely cares, and that makes all the difference. Finding someone you trust with your dog is everything, and Jay is that person for me. If you're even considering booking with him, do it. He's worth it.

I wanted to love the service but it just didn't work out…read more I moved to Atlanta in 2023 and lived on a different side of town for the initial six months. I found a groomer that I love but wanted to find one closer to where I purchased my home. I called this place at the time and they weren't familiar with my dog's breed so I opted not to take her there. Fast forward a year later, I call them back because I wanted to finally avoid the commute to Cheshire Bridge. To my delight, BIS let me know they now have a groomer who specializes in doodles so I decide to book the appointment. Unfortunately, the first time I brought her for a bath, she came back with a rash or hot spot on her back paw. She had never had a hot spot up until that point, and she was three. We discussed it could be the shampoo but it was concentrated to one paw, so that didn't quite make sense. The second time I brought her the hair cut was not to my liking and I paid even more than I do for our groomer who consistently does a fantastic job. So, although I appreciate that they found a doodle groomer, she just isn't the one for us. **Also, they may want to ask if the bow or the bandanna is the preference for each dog, b/c not every female dog wears bows. Just a heads up.

My first visit was pretty good. I hit a hiccup with vaccines because the place where my pup…read morereceived his bordetella didn't put in writing when it expired. And because it can be either six or twelve months I called and was on hold for a bit. Tiffany was great about it She was able to clear things up, give me a tour, explain how the facility operated and get my little fella settled. When I left I was able to see my little guy from their cameras. One thing I liked about Pet Paradise is their kennel sizes. The are oversized and have plenty of room to roam around when not in the play area. Actually two separate areas with one where they can see their neighbors and the opposite side where they can have privacy with a place to lay down, get water and just relax. When I came back to pick him up I learned he did pass the temperament test. Buy when I asked how he did Rachel informed me she did not know. I was told I would be getting one more free day because I should have had a folder to take with me telling me about his day. The folder was missing. So I will return and with such a great experience I can see checking them out again.

If I pay to board my fur baby, her area should be kept clean and dry! every time I saw her on camera In the playgroup, she was always standing, not laying on the turf ! I'm soo mad at the nonchalant response from the manager Shaquita of how this could've happened like it's no big deal & was told oh she probably had an allergic reaction or it could've been her laying on the turf, & take her to the vet & let us know but "no we don't reimburse for vet bills" because you signed a waiver!! So basically your dog can come back damaged but because you signed to put them in their care they aren't responsible for anything. Plus, I've boarded her at this location several times a few years ago for the same amount of time & this never occurred. Unacceptable & anybody with eyes can see that this is just horrible and neglectful & they just handed her over to me like oh well we aren't responsible!

Would not recommend for long-term boarding, especially for dogs needing coat maintenance…read more I boarded my Shih Tzu here from July 11-22. She has a drop coat that requires regular brushing to prevent matting -- I know that's not something a boarding facility can do for free every day, and I never expected that. At drop-off, I explained this to a young woman, possibly Haley (who was doing intake) and the groomer, who happened to be there. I even brought my own brushes and asked for her to be brushed 2-3 times during the week. I was told they'd check with the groomers. We also scheduled a mini groom for pickup day, July 22nd. Over the following days, I checked in on the webcam when I could and noticed she was looking increasingly disheveled. On July 19th, I reached out again to confirm the grooming appointment and to ask if anyone was brushing her, since she looked matted on camera. Haley responded right away and said she'd ask the groomers. On the morning of the 22nd, I got a call from the groomer explaining that my dog was severely matted and would need to be shaved down. When I reminded him I had specifically requested regular brushing at drop-off, he asked who I'd spoken to -- it became clear that the request had not been passed along or acted on for the entire two-week stay. He was apologetic, waived the dematting fee (which I would never have paid), and said he'd try to save as much coat length as possible. When I picked her up, it was obvious he'd tried, but the result was thinned out, uneven and choppy -- chunks clipped short around the mats, with a longer matted section left near her neck and tail and her top knot was a dreadlock. She looked worse, not better, and I had to book an emergency appointment at PetSmart of all places afterward just to even out her cut. What frustrates me most is that this was preventable. A specific, repeated request was made at drop-off and again mid-stay, and nothing happened until the final morning when it was too late to do anything but shave portions of her coat. Why not just do a proper cut? I was hoping this could be a regular daycare spot for my dog since I'm heading back into the office a few days a week, but after this experience I won't be returning. I don't care about the money. I'm hurt and disappointed more than anything. Photo 1: "Discovery Day" on July 8th. The "before" after a full day of daycare. No problem. Photos 2-3: During the stay. Photos 4-6: The "after" on pick-up.
