    I cannot recommend this place enough! I had a dog sitter fall through and needed a place for Thor to stay. They let me book with a five days notice! They have a complementary daycare day where they get to know your dog . It made me feel so much better, knowing that they were comfortable, taking care of him. I'll be taking Thor here every time I leave town! The staff was so friendly and kind!

    Being new to Atlanta, I didn't have a go to groomer for my pup Zoe. Someone recommended Brookhaven Bark and Board to me, so I decided to give it a go, and I think they will be our new go to groomer! The first thing I noticed was that the lobby is still closed to customers, so they are doing curbside pickup. I really appreciated this because it shows they care about their customers and our health! We got the full service groom and it was pretty affordable, $75 for everything. I dropped Zoe off at 10 for a 2 pm pickup, which was perfect because it gave me enough time to run some errands before picking her back up. When I dropped Zoe off I didn't know what to expect, but I was very pleasantly surprised! She now has the perfect trim and smells so fresh. You can tell they really know how to groom golden retrievers. They definitely treated her well while she was there- she came out with her tail wagging and a huge smile, and even tried to follow the employee back in! Thanks Brookhaven Bark and Board!

    I tried Puppy Haven at first, they discriminated against my doggo. So NOT Puppy Haven! Now we go to Bark & Board in Brookhaven!! We're 3 weeks in and have had an excellent experience there thus far. Very pleased with the friendly team and they seem to genuinely love my pup! By his 2nd day, the front desk team smiled, got out of their seats and greeted my dog and me on a first name basis! This alone was fulfilling in itself and it gave me confidence my doggo is in great hands! I see the staff on camera giving my doggo belly rubs, love, and attention, just really interacting with all of the dogs as they play. They get snack time, outside time and have kiddy pools to play in on hotter days. Last but not least, when my dog gets home, he is exhausted! He literally plops on the floor to nap. And sometimes, after a long day at work, that's exactly what I need.

    I had my dog stay at the Brookhaven location back in September when we decided to go away for a weekend. Now that I am seeing negative reports and news stories, I wish I had posted earlier. Muffin stayed here for a weekend. While checking up on her I noticed an employee throw her over a gate into a play area on multiple occasions. Watching her being abused while being 13 hours away is one of the worst feelings I have ever felt. Any dog owner, or half decent human understands you don't throw dogs, let alone a 6 pound dog. I frantically called all of their locations with no response. I sent an email including any screenshots I could of what the employee looked like and what I was watching through their video cams. After an hour I received an email from the owner Stuart and a store manager apologizing. They stated "they removed the employee from interacting with dogs and gave him training on handling," along with keeping my dog safe in her area the remainder of the time. The reason why I had not posted earlier is because I believed the owner handled it well at the time. I understand you cannot control your employees every move, so I cut him some slack considering he was very responsive and polite. Unfortunately, I was very wrong. If this employee mishandled my dog that day...he should have been fired, and not given another opportunity to lay his hands (or knees* in this case) on another. * This employee can be found kneeing a dog in a local news report. Please do whatever you can and not bring your pets to this place. They clearly cannot guarantee safety.

    Love love love B&B Brookhaven - they treat my dog like their own :) When he's still sleepy in the morning they let him sit in their lap at the front desk and help check other dogs in, they know him by name when he walks in, they're so patient and so professional. They keep Joey cool in the summer and warm in the winter- they feed him my surprise lunches and never forget a grooming appt. - this place is a Marriott for dogs. Best part? Joey comes home ready to SLEEP. I've watched a LOT of camera footage- you won't find any wrong doing by the humans...the staff are saints from above to love these crazy dogs we drop off to wild out in the masses for 8+ hours a day.

To keep my furby fresh and clean between visits I've decided to go to the self-service dog wash now owned and managed by Fur Side. Automated scheduling was easy as pie. Showed up for my appointment and Mary greeted me at the door in PPE. Raised tubs with sprayer mean you don't have to bend over to bath your pooch. There are plastic aprons to keep you dry as possible. The shampoo and conditioner is great and complimentary, along with ear wash. Although I bought my own brushes, there are brushes available for use. Bring your own towels now. It's a safety thing. All in all a great bath away from home. I'll end with this. My Beauregard was freaking out with the sound and feel of the high powered dryer. He dang near killed himself trying to get away from it and I was going to have to leave with a wet poodle. Mary showed absolute mercy and stepped in to help me. I'm not experienced in bathing Beauregard myself so I was not what he wanted or expected. Mary advised and showed me the best way to dry my pooch and make the experience enjoyable for both of us. She gave of her time and herself and we are eternally thankful. P.S. I already had a full service groom scheduled for a future date. This will be Beauregard's first visit to Fur Side.. I'm even happier about this now.

This is more like a doggie spa if I do say so myself. Not only do they groom but they also provide a face mask and massage for your pet. I've included a photo of everything your puppy will be enjoying during the grooming visit. I got the pleasure of meeting the owner. She started her pet grooming business after years of working at an agency that didn't treat the puppies the way she thought was adequate. She took it upon herself to create a better environment with loving and caring groomers. She has traveled around the world perfecting her skill and teaching her groomers updated techniques.     Went down hill. I was a client for 3 years and had been mostly satisfied. Today, everything…read morechanged. There must have been some technology clitch and I never got the SMS saying my dog was ready. They finally called me to pick her up. Instead of believing me when I told them I hadnt gotten their texts (although I showed them my phone) they proceeded to charge me the penalty of a dollar for every minute past the grace period. I am not complaining about paying the penalty (I am fully aware it exists and understand why businesses need these policies). I am furious that they are unwilling to recognize there was a glitch and decided to not rely on my word, not trust the phone when I showed them I hadnt gotten their texts and disregards our history, and waive the penalty. An appt that usually costs around 80 plus tax and tip, today costs $194 without including tip!!!!!!! Here go the details if you are interested. When I dropped my dog off I was told I would be notified 30 min before she was ready and that it should take approximately 1 and a half hours to cut her hair. In the past I had shown up at the time I had been told when I dropped her off (although I hadnt gotten the text) and she hadnt been ready. Therefore I began to rely on the texts before going to pickup. Usually this was fine except for one occasion. I was told she would be ready around 4:30. Then I was texted that it was taking longer. We went back and forth and I finally decided to go and stand there at 7:30 pm and insisted on getting my dog. She was still wet. Although I never got an apology or a discount for the poor service, given the long relationship, I took my dog in today. Today I didnt het their texts. There must have been some sort of glitch. Given I wasnt responding to the texts they said they had sent me they finally called me 2.5 hours passed the time they told me she should be ready. I told them I hadnt gotten the text and they proceeded to tell me I should have shown up at the time they had given me upon drop off. Upon arrival I showed them I hadnt gotten their text. Then they told me I should have picked her up at the time I was given and shouldnt have waited for the text. I told them about my experiences in the past when I had shown up at the approximate times I was told, and the time I waited 4 hours and still got a wet dog. Anyways, my dog is fine, and has a great hair cut as always. When I get into the car, their texts started coming through. They told me they had charged my credit card 194 dollars. I was surprised that although I had shown them that I hadnt gottern their texts, they still charged me their penalty. No regard for hour history, and no recognizition of their previous mistakes that I had not complained about. They continue to fight with me over text. See pictures.
