She asked a couple of questions about my hairstyle and she started cutting my hair. End result was fantastic! Tui is not only amazing barber, but also an amazing person. Embry was my stylist and I will definitely be coming back to her. She was very friendly and professional. She wasn't rushing everything which I also liked. I got a haircut which comes with a shampoo and hairstyling at the end. Embry asked how I like my hair styled and did it just like I asked. This is so hard to find even in nice salons! The stylists typically just blow dry your hair straight or style it how they think looks best, which I hate. My haircut looked awesome too and she even thinned it out so it isn't so poofy. She also didn't make my scalp hurt bad from combing tangles out of my wet hair or burn my head from the heat of the blow dryer. It's the little things. :) Just an FYI: the address on yelp is wrong, the address on their website is correct. (I went to the wrong place lol). It's still on McDermott, just on the opposite side of the road behind Starbucks.

Most of the girls give good cuts....some better than others. I will continue to visit this location, I like it. Often, the girls who cut my hair the best fail to give me their card so I don't know who to ask for :) Mostly good experiences at this location. Just 2 bad experiences (minor): 1. 45 minute wait 2. One girl tried to rush my cut so fast that she ended up pulling on my hair. She was racing another girl on speed. I really didn't like that. Overall, 3/5. I will continue to go to this location.
