To go with the planty theme, I had the crazy idea of wearing a two piece wedding dress with custom embroidery pieces of my cats & plants on the top. SUPER special thanks to Lexi Ke for bringing my vision to life. I gave New Era Cleaning & Tailoring my dress, patches, & great grandmothers coat 2 weeks before the wedding. The skirt needed hemmed, waist needed taken in, top needed to be fitted to my measurements, & the patches needed to be hand-stitched onto the top.... Somehow, someway they were able to get it finished in time! SOOOOO thankful for their customer service & for the hard work the employees do! This the friendliest, best dry cleaner I've ever done business with. I've taken things in twice so far. The first time was a beloved silk dress that had gotten some stains on it during a possibly drunk walk through the woods a couple of years back. Um...anyway, I've had it cleaned a couple of times since then and nobody had been able to make much headway on the spots. I told the folks at Kergaard about them and they said they'd try. Try they did - they cleaned it twice trying to get them out and the stains are now almost unrecognizable. I can still find them but nobody else would ever notice them. Almost good as new! Then last night we realized one of Sean's suits needed to be pressed for a wedding that we were leaving town for at 11:30am. Yikes what do we do?? Kergaard to the rescue! I called as soon as they opened and asked if there was any way that I could have the suit pressed within a couple of hours and he said he could help. I brought it in at 7:15 and he had it ready by 10:30. I offered to pay extra but the guy wouldn't hear it. Less than 25 bucks for three pieces pressed and ready to go within 3 hours? That's great service of you ask me. Also, even before I started taking stuff here, we always noticed there were people dropping stuff off getting out of REALLY nice cars. Good sign for me. These are the type of people who dry clean everything they own so if they're trusting Kergaard, so am I. The people that work here are so friendly and kind, I just love to support a place like that especially in my own town. Take your dry cleaning here. You'll have a good experience.

I wanted to specifically talk about their leather cleaning services. I took this vintage suede rancher coat t them to have dry cleaned because when I thrifted it the coat was very dingy and stained. Norge Dry Cleaners is clear on the fact that they outsource leather and suede cleaning, so technically they aren't the ones cleaning those materials. That being said they seem to trust good companies with that service because the coat came back in excellent condition. I wish I took before and after photos so that others could see the difference. I can't wait to continue using this company for my cleaning and alteration needs!

She answered, drove up, told her how short I needed them hemmed (30") and walked out with zero rushing fee. Two days later, I walked up there, grabbed my pants, paid, and left. It was quick and easy. The pants fit great. The lady was super sweet and kind.

I wanted my dress to fit pretty snug and she told me that it will be "okay" and I could tell by the way she fitted me that it was going to not be "okay". Very disappointed with how my dress turned out. I had to come back twice to get it fitted and if I wasn't on such a time crunch I would have had more work done to it because it still was not how it should have fit me. The bridesmaid dress was pretty pricey so I wouldn't recommend coming to this lady to have any work done on a nice dress because she can ruin it and snag it and not own up to it. Unfortunately, since the dress didn't fit how I wanted it effected my whole evening of one of my best friends weddings. Overall, I am very disappointed in this alteration job.
