Care instructions are in this case irrelevant as I have never worn this hat and would gladly send it in for replacement if your company would cover return shipping as should have been provided in the first place. Also, I shared a review on Google very shortly after receiving the "replacement" which did not warrant a response, therefore I consider this review of your company's quality and value as valid. Completely unacceptable. I ordered a four hundred dollar hat that arrived completely misshapen and unwearable. When I called to remedy the situation, the gentleman didn't seem to believe me. He made me pay fifty dollars to ship back a defective product. Several days after it arrived, I called for a status update, and he told me that he couldn't see anything wrong, and that it was okay for a misshapen brim because the hat was handmade. Handmade American should be a mark of high quality, not an excuse for poor craftsmanship! Utterly disgraceful! Nevertheless he assured me that he would send me a proper product. Alas, what I received was the exact same hat in the exact same shape as it was! At this point I would have been better off to order a Chinese knockoff than pay four hundred and fifty dollars for a poorly made piece of junk! What a waste of money! I am very disappointed by this company pretending to manufacture high quality American made products!

Never have I ever had an attendant 3 steps behind me (while she was on her phone, and staring off when acknowledged). When I finally had enough and asked, "why?" I was told it's their "customer service protocol". Even my 9 year old brother did not believe that. Like I said, I've spent too much money on their overpriced, used records to believe their less than ideal sales tactics. I pass by Gomez Boot Ranch quite a but, since FM 2920 is a road I cannot avoid. The store has an expansive inventory of western boots, hats, belts, you name it! In all sorts of sizes and for men, women, and kids. The staff is very helpful too. I didn't get her name, but one young lady helped me figure out my hat size and go through some of the cowboy hat choices with me. I ended up going with a felt black cowboy hat that set me back $120, but out here in Texas, you know I'll be wearing it on the daily (at least when it's not raining). I'm glad I supported a local business! They also offer complimentary cleaning whenever you need it, and there is an expert in "cowboy hat bending" (I do not believe this is the proper phrase, haha) who is on-site Fridays and Saturdays to help you get your hat to a desirable shape as needed!
