Worst cavendars ever. Customer service is the worst. We had a small issue and when we talked to the manager she was not the brightest. I dont know how in the hell shes a manger and doesn't know who her GM is or any of her employees numbers. One employee that helped us had one of our items and then clocked out. We asked thr manager if she could call her to see where the employee set it down and the manager was like I dont know her number. Then I asked for their GM number and she didnt know their info either! Did she suck her way to get where she is at?! What do you know!? How embarrassing for that company. I was not impressed with this location twice already. We went to purchase boots we saw online and that said this location had in stock. Couldn't find the boots in the store. Asked for help everyone seemed confused on how to look for their own items. So I went to register for assistance. Young lady at register just said "that's incorrect online and sorry". Then we asked is it not possible to have them order online for us and she said no they couldn't because there was enough in their stock to order which made no sense. So I asked for a manager. No better....manager said they order from a distribution warehouse so they can't order when less than 10...again what does that mean and have to do with us wanting these boots? We wanted to pay in store because we get rodeo discount and that can only be applied in person, not online purchases. I ended up calling customer service and telling them what happened and they said the store should have been able to help us and didn't understand why they said what they said. I ended up saying forget it to it all. No wonder I like Boot Barn better. read more

When I went over to look at the boots a little while later she came over to check on me and showed me a few pair that are popular and comfortable. I was very unimpressed with the level of customer service during my visit. My family and I were not greeted upon entering the store, and we passed several employees who were standing in groups talking among themselves. No one offered assistance or asked if we needed help at any point. When we reached the checkout, the cashier asked if we had been helped at all, and after we said no, she simply responded with "oh no, sorry to hear that." Unfortunately, she was one of the employees who did not acknowledge us when we first walked in, which made the apology feel insincere. The store was not busy at all! I've had wonderful experiences this spring at this Cavender's off 99. It's the closest Cavender to the Woodlands. The people are so friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of boots and a good selection of clothing as well. They also have handbags and belts. Great stuff for the rodeo or any ag or western event. They were easy to work with on some returns. It's not the cheapest, but you'll definitely find Western clothing, boots and accessories. You'll find the perfect boot for you! Yee-haw!!! read more

This is my third try at this establishment and i wont be back. If your going to have children working at your store at least train them properly. We went to get my Daughter her first cowboy hat. She picked out a gorgeous beaver hat that was about $140.00. I asked for a hatbox my got up to the counter. One of the ladies that was not checking this out told me that they did not have hat boxes. I stink said how absolutely bizarre I don't think I've ever bought a hat and not had a hat box. The child that was checking us out then piped up and told me that they usually only give the hat boxes to hire end top quality hats.. I couldn't believe his insulting degrading behavior. I can let him now by telling my daughter how sorry I was that we couldn't afford a high end hat for her. This place is a complete embarrassment and the owner should be ashamed of their selves for allowing self righteous children that need the sh*t slapped out of them to work behind the counter. read more

Visited the Cavender's in Spring on Sunday. I was there to buy my first cowboy hat. I elected to go with straw. I wasn't sure how often I'd wear it. There was a decent selection of straw hats but few in my size. After 10 minutes of looking at hats, Ly came over and was very helpful. Most of the hats in my size were too tight. After finally finding a hat that fit, Ly said the manager could shape the hat if I liked. Ly checked with the manager. The manager, whom I never saw said she wasn't shaping any more hats that day (3:30 PM). I'm not sure what is involved with shaping a hat, but I thought that was poor customer service. When I make my next purchase hat purchase it will not be at this store. read more

I have shopped at this Cavender's location a few times before today, but I felt my experience today was worth sharing. I found my dad's 20-year-old Stetson cowboy hat he had only worn with his dress law enforcement uniform when he was alive. It was in need of some TLC, and I was afraid to take it just anywhere for a cleaning and reshaping. Not only did the associate treat it with care, he did an outstanding job to get the hat back to like-new condition! This cavenders has waaaaay better service than the one on 2345 cypress creek pkwy. Employees were very helpful with the clothes and boots I got. Stay away from the one on 1960. I had never been to that one before but was near it so decided to stop there since I needed more things I didn't get at this location. Big mistake. Manager is an ass on the one in cypress creek. Yall come to this location instead. That way if anything comes up you won't have to deal with an ass of a manager. read more

I'd like to preface this by saying I used to work at Cavender's. Absolutely love this place. Seth was great, very helpful with the hats. A couple of the ladies asked multiple times if we needed help, which is always appreciated. The reason for my rating is the guy that checked us out. Zero customer service skills. He didn't have a nametag but his employee number is 59485. I know they're supposed to ask who helped us out so the deserving employee can get the commission-this was not asked. He didn't even give us the total, he just asked us to put the card in. We noticed the price was higher than expected so we asked him about it. He then said "fixed it" and nothing else was said. Hope this guy was just having a bad day. It genuinely threw us off at the end and made the great experience a crummy one. read more

It's rare I have an experience that is so unbelievably poor that I'm moved to write a negative review. Tonight's experience at Cavender's warrants this review. A saleswoman in the children's boot section named Kristen berated my children, yelled in their faces and scolded them in an unbelievably inappropriate manner when I walked away and when the children ran through that area to find their brother. Upon my children coming and telling me how this woman treated them- they were crying and terrified- I went to speak to her about how inappropriate she was. Upon seeing me walk over to the children's boot section she came towards me and proceeded to get in my face and nearly assault me. This woman looked and acted as if she rolled off the street ready to fight. Truly appalling behavior and someone that in no way should be near people in a service or retail setting. I said how dare she speak to my children that way and then to me that way. I immediately went and found the assistant manager who did nothing except nod her head and smugly listen to what we told her, never once admonishing her employee's unbelievably wrong behavior and words. This all after we went in and spent $600 on new boots and belts as gifts for family. The manager and owner will be hearing from us. Kristen should be promptly fired and never allowed to work near children or in customer service. Emma Ramirez the assistant manager should be ashamed and let go immediately. My husband needed new jeans and we went to the Cavenders in Spring on the Grand Parkway. No one offered to help us although there were several employees hanging out by the cash register. I had to lay down on the floor to reach his size because they were at the bottom of the stack. We kept looking around for assistance but none was to be had. I went to the desk and asked for help and these two teenagers actually argued over who would have to help us. I have never before seen such lazy, worthless, rotten employees. This store has the WORST customer service EVER!! We will NEVER go back. I hope the manager sees this and fires everyone of them. read more

Wow..... Thats all i gotta say. Worked here for a couple months. Management was absolutely awful(Chris) the manager picked favorites, pretty much all the girls were his favorites. He would never get onto the people that would always call out before their shift, only the people that worked there the most. I bought a pair of boots here for my 5 year old granddaughter for Christmas. Very good quality but after 3 months the boot strap became unstitched. I went today to exchange it for another one. A very nice young man started helping me trying to find a replacement boot. The exact one (which was what I was hoping to get) was not available any longer in her size and he gladly let me pick out another boot one size up. It was not until we were headed to the checkout that I learned that he was the manager (Clayton I believe). A very nice, personable friendly young man, mature beyond his years. When you get great customer service after a sale - it means I will always return. My granddaughter wants to wear boots everyday...no matter what so when she outgrows these I will certainly take her back to his location and buy her another pair. I was also pleased that he, Clayton the manager was wearing a mask which sets a good example for his other staff.
