I arrived Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. to pick up my dry cleaning to find the doors locked, even though the "open" sign was on. I waited in the parking lot for over 30 minutes, called repeatedly, and never reached anyone. I returned a little after 2:00 p.m. and the doors were still locked. I even knocked around back with no response. I continued calling for the next hour with the same result. When I came back Thursday, I was told by the owner's wife she had to leave and he was running late. I understand things happen, but a simple note on the door with a return time would have prevented a lot of frustration. I needed my dry cleaning early Thursday morning, so the lack of communication really created a problem. They recently purchased this business, and I genuinely wish them the best, but clearer communication with customers is essential.

We are in about once a week, dropping off both dry cleaning and my husband's work shirts. They do a really good job - our items come back perfectly done and are available when promised. The proprietors are friendly. They know me by face and can fill out my name on a dry cleaning slip without being told what it is, which is always appreciated and a sign of a service-focused business. My only wish is that they could launder my shirts at the same price as my husband's shirts - but women's shirts must be dry cleaned and that is more expensive. This discrepancy is the norm in the industry, I just wish it wasn't the case. Gould does a great job and the service is excellent.
