    Spicy Indian Chicken Wings
    Paolo B.

First time dining here and drove all the way from Illinois to try this top notch Indian restaurant here in Chesterfield. The nan bread and garlic chicken were excellent but some other dishes especially the Lamb Vindaloo has some sweetness which I did not expect. The wing appetizer was a little dismal as the meat was a little dry. The mango lassi was also very good. Overall we had a nice dining experience yesterday and our waiter was very attentive. Definitely will come back if I am in the area.

Four stars for overall food/experience, but five stars for the butter chicken, yum! Clean, fast service, friendly wait staff.

Great experience! We started with the samosas which were amazing. Got the chicken tikki masala and dal- the dal was just ok but the tiki masala was delicious! Naan was a little flat but great flavor. Service was super fast and the waiters were very sweet. Will definitely be back!

I am obsessed! The service is extremely friendly, fast and great atmosphere. The food is delicious! I had the butter chicken and the portion and flavor amazing. The garlic nam is to die for! Definitely will be going back!

This restaurant is in a good location in Chesterfield by many other shops and grocery stores. It's a bright restaurant and is clean when you enter. The service was mediocre and the waiter didn't have great communication skills and was not the friendliest. Food was brought out in a timely manner. Appetizer - vegetable samosas - this was very delicious and came with the chutney and another sauce. Came out hot and fresh, very delicious. Main dish - butter chicken and chicken tikka masala - the chicken tikka was very tasty and would definitely order again. It was spiced right and I did have them bring out additional chili paste as well. Only downside was that there was a quite a bit less chicken in it compared to the butter chicken. The butter chicken was not my favorite and I'd probably order curry lamb next time to try something different. The naan bread was delicious as well and came out with the main dish.

Met a friend for dinner here during the week. I ordered the Chili Garlic Naan and the Gobi Manchurian. My friend ordered the Vegetarian Biryani and the Aloo Gobi. We both tried everything and we were in agreement. The food was OK but nothing stood out. The service was great. The portions were large. We just weren't in love with the flavors. My chili garlic naan wasn't very hot or garlicky. The Gobi Manchurian was probably the best thing. It was lacking in flavor though and not that crisp. Onward.

It's been over 5 years since I've been to Taj Palace! I just remember it being delicious. My friend and I came here for lunch the other day and it seems a lot has changed. 1. They no longer offer Lunch buffet - I thought it was maybe temporary due to COVID, but it seems permanent at this point 2. The space looks smaller now. They have a wall that covers entry to the kitchen and they put more tables and chairs where the buffet used to be. We ordered the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikki Masala, couple Garlic Naan's and the Tandoori Chicken. Butter Chicken and Chicken Tikki Masala were delicious as always, but the portion size was small. It was about $16-$17 each Tandoori Chicken was dry and had no flavor. We had to dip the chicken into our Tikki Masala and Butter Sauce to comfortably eat it. Overall, a bit pricey for what it is, but still delicious! You had around 10 years to check this place out, if you haven't, do it!!

Great food and service. Nice crowd for an early Sunday dinner. Must have a good local following.

Went here for dinner before a show on a Tuesday evening. They were busy but service was great. They brought me a separate vegan menu which was so awesome! We had the vegetable pakora and the Aloo Gobi, which was delicious! The portions were so generous I had plenty leftover for lunch the next day.@eatveganwithjoan

I'm always looking for a new and great Indian restaurant and my mom and dad told me about this place. My mom and I went out for dinner and I must say, this is a great contender with my other favorite Indian restaurants. We ordered the Chicken Vandelou and the Chicken Curry. Both were phenomenal! I've never had a Vandelou dish, but I was pleasantly surprised. This restaurant specializes in a specific region of India and they make dishes from that region which was really interesting. Another spot to add to my regular spots for a great dinner!

I found the service to be lacking and the food to be average. There are better options very near by.

Avoid ordering the kadai paneer as its gravy is not good The paneer tikka masala, however, is a better choice.

I was hopeful that they were possibly just very busy at that moment. The parking lot is shared with several other businesses located in this plaza. There is disabled parking in front of the business, but the ramp is in front of Sauce on the Side next door. As I entered this casual spot, they were very busy on this Saturday night. You can place your order online or at the walk up counter. There were several people in front of me, but the line moved fast. The menu is on the board behind the counter and you can see some of the fresh items displayed. There are some tables inside the restaurant if you decide to stay. It seems that the majority of the people ordered takeout. I ordered the onion pakoda, which is similar to onion straws, and it was a huge serving, enough for 2-4 people. It was served warm and crispy. The onions were sweet and the fried batter had good flavor. I tried the weekend special, which were 3 vegetarian choices out of 5-6: Palak Paneer, Paneer Butter Masala and Eggplant curry. Rice or naan does not come with it. It costs extra. The garlic naan was fresh and flavorful. The Palak Paneer was adequate, mildly spiced, and about what I expected. The paneer butter masala was well-spiced and had a slight capsaicin kick. The eggplant curry was absolutely delicious and rather spicy. I'm glad I had a drink close by. This was a very good value as I had enough leftover for another meal.

Great food, service, and atmosphere!…read more This space is massive so bring in your family, friends, colleagues, and teams in for a great meal. The portions and prices are amazing. They have vegetarian, vegan, and gluten free options too. I would say the biggest meat protein on the menu is chicken. They have great music playing and some nights have live singers playing as you eat. They have a full cocktail and liquor menu so grab a drink on the patio and enjoy some gobi and naan to snack on. I loved their kid menu options and names so grab those picky little eaters. They offer a lunch buffet on the weekends too so come and fill those bellies with healthy and tasty food. It's not all spicy but you can certainly tell the cooks to crank up that heat flavor on your dishes. The staff was one of the best parts. They all were so friendly and gave their best recommendations and pairings. They moved as a team and everyone knew what we ordered and got it out fast. This location is very accessible and the bathroom set up is top tier. They have multiple seating options and a chair or two can be easily removed for wheelchair users. The silverware was strong but not too heavy which is great for those with less muscle control or littles learning to use utensils.

We've been to a number of restaurants over the years that specialize in Indian cuisine. I had read…read moreabout Mint & Martini and added it to my list of places I want to go to. I made a reservation, but when we got there, it was so empty and toldwasn't necessary to have a reservation. We were there at 7:00 on a Saturday night and there were only eight other diners in the huge restaurant and I believe there were four outside. We were seated right away and then menus were brought over. They have an extensive cocktail/beverage menu and a separate food menu that was also rather large. We ordered our martinis and started on the food menu. We ended up ordering way too much food! I had the French Martini and do not recommend it. I had a Lemon Drop Martini after that and it was good. My husband had two Dirty Martinis and liked them. We started with the Samosa Chaat and it was good! It was actually the food we liked best. We ordered some Butter Naan but there was very little butter. We asked the server what his favorite entrees were and he mentioned one of the things I had been looking out, so I ordered it. Then he tells me one diner had complained that it was too chewy. I think he expected me to change my mind. I did not, but wish I had. I had the Lamb Roganjosh. The flavor was good, but the lamb was very chewy because it was full of fat. I have never had an Indian lamb dish that had lamb like that in it. My husband had Goat Bhutan Masala. He said it was okay. It did say it was bone-in goat, but the bones were tiny and hard to find until they were in his mouth. My husband had looked up their menu online and had seen fried jalapeños on it, but they weren't on the menu. They made some for him anyway and they were so hot, they were inedible. We were taken care of by three different people and they were all great! The space inside is huge and the patio probably doubles the seating they have inside. There were ten of us in the restaurant for a while and I think only six more came in before we left at 8:30. They are open from 11:00 AM until midnight. They have live music in Saturdays, but not the Saturday we were there. There are a some Indian restaurants in the area that we really like, so I don't think we'll be back.
