To start with No hot tea" in a Japanese restaurant? Second service very slow we ordered two dishes and the one for me was so late that my company were almost done before they brought mine. The rice for the sushi was not sushi rice but long grain rice. The soup that was listed on the menu did not come until i asked for and had no flavor, the soy sauce containers need a good cleaning as they were sticky and this place over all needs some through cleaning. The young lady tried her best to ccomodate us. No I do not plan to go back to this stablishment. read more

Wow, tried calling in order for Friday specials on sushi and no answers on multiple calls, went there at 11:45am when supposed to be opened at 11am and it is all locked up and no one around, no signs or anything. Hope everything is OK here read more

A Tuesday night at 5:30 pm. Showed as open. Ordered on line for pickup. Received an email confirmation on order and the credit card was charged. Showed up to get our food and they were closed! Still trying to get our $68 back. read more

This new restaurant specializes in Sushi and also serves Teriyaki. I must confess we ate the Chicken Teriyaki & Chicken Yakisoba as we are not big Sushi fans. The service was fast and friendly. The atmosphere was old style as this is in an older building with tables rather than booths. The food was well portioned, so expect to take some home. There was an extensive sushi menu and I highly recommend sushi fans try this as these specialties are hard to find in small rural towns. I am hopeful it will remain. read more

The food and service was excellent. The reason I didn't give it 5 stars was that out of 6 dishes ordered, only 3 were as ordered. We got chicken teriyaki instead of yakisoba, my California crunch did not have avacado, my daughter's veggie roll had crab instead. Not sure if they misunderstood or mixed up our order with the other table they were serving. We ordered the yakisoba beef/chicken/shrimp (home run), fried rice chicken/shrimp, and the Taka plate - chicken teriyaki, fried rice, noodles and salad. Everyone enjoyed their meal and thought it delicious. The plates were HUGE, very generous portions. The waitress was attentive and friendly. read more

Was super excited to get a sushi place in Prosser...first time we went was opening day and the food was good but everything else was unorganized . Decided to give em a 2nd try...chicken teriyaki was over salted and the general tso chicken was over deep fried and the peppers where not grinder in...no authenticity and the food gave us all hurt tummy's. Stick to the sushi- that was pretty great. The crispy spring rolls were still partially frozen when served (so clearly not made on-site). They recooked them (yes, threw them back into the oil rather than new ones ), and they still had that raw dough texture inside while being burnt on the outside. The teriyaki chicken was extremely salty. Their fire alarm was also chirping the entire time, they only had bottled beverages because their fountain machine was down, and the temperature was about 78 F inside. First time we went, food was surprisingly good. Rice was a tad bit soft, but not bad. Fish was cut well. Japanese owner was there and prepared our food. We had nigiri and sashimi. I planned to go back (Save us the drive into Tri-cities unless we wanted even better sushi). So recently ordered the same dishes. Japanese owner was not there. And... The rice was extra crunchy (tasted like day old rice) the salmon looked like it was cut by my son using a serrated knife. One of the fish tasted like it... Well, I didn't eat it after the bite. Much of that pricey platter ended up not eaten. Perhaps the sushi maker that day only knows how to make rolls and so doesn't know the art of properly cutting fish for nigiri? But the dry rice was unforgivable. read more
