They do not know how to handle your memberships on a local level. They do not have a reliable way to handle your cancelation request on a corporate level. No one will return your message, the membership management page gives you a 404 error, won't respond to your email, they've turned off their comments and messages on social media, they will "cancel" your membership and KEEP CHARGING YOU. I signed up for a fleet of vehicles and I'm still being charged for every single one MONTHS LATER. read more

Was in dire need of a car wash after the harsh winter, so stopped at Goo Goo, because it's not too far from home and right off of route 23. It was not busy at all on the Sunday afternoon, even though it was great weather. I got the car and wheels wash for $15. They have 3 tiers if washing at: $7, $15, and $21. For me, $21, is a bit high for a car wash, especially since other competitors offer the best wash for $18 or less than $21. I was given two air fresheners and absorbent cloths by the attendant before heading in for the wash. I thought that was nice, because ended up using them right away. There are plenty of spots for vacuuming. Was able to spend enough time cleaning the inside of the car without feeling rushed. Will be back to this location. read more

I had driven by this car wash many times before finally trying it out. It's nice to have one in downtown Birmingham so I decided to give them a shot. It was a very weird car experience if I'm being honest. When I got in line to go in, I normally drive onto the ramp and put my car in neutral, my car was not going forward. I kept trying with no luck so I ended up having to drive in the car wash myself. I didn't like that I couldn't see the car in front of me and could barely see the car behind me. It seemed like a possible safety issue if everyone has to drive through it and cannot clearly see in front of them. The cleaner itself didn't seem to be doing a good job with the final rinse. When I came out of the car wash, I saw so much soap still on my car. As I was vacuuming my car, it was drying, and eventually disappeared. The next day or two my car was very clean. Then all of a sudden all my windows and windshield started getting covered in dust and dirt. I suspect it's from the soap residue attracting small particles since it was not properly rinsed. The vacuums were working properly which I sometimes struggle with at other car washes. The floor mat cleaner was also not working which I usually encounter this problem at most other car washes lately too. Overall, I probably won't be coming back here unless the safety issue I mentioned is addressed. read more

The worst. The equipment was fine, but the employees are part of the Sales Prevention department. I'll never go back based on the child who was working the gate who had to stop and go get his skateboard while he talked to his boyfriend and the girl at the entrance who wasn't interested in anything. They kept us lined up and held against our will. The employees make a company and I feel bad for the investors in Take 5 who have to hire such awful things to work. The employees showed me what they are made of and you can fertilize a farm with it. read more

I have been going to the Hueytown, AL location that used to be Goo Goo's. It was a good experience every time. After they changed to Take 5, things started going downhill very quickly. I went back this past Sunday and many things weren't working. After going through the half-working wash, I went to the vacuuming stations. Half of the nozzles didn't work at all, the rest had a lot of split nozzles and the air suction was terrible. I have brought up the problems multiple times and have been told that a tech was working on it. NOT!!! I didn't get a membership to get my car half done. If you can't keep your business maintained, you shouldn't be on business. read more

Started out as 5 stars, but quality has been dropping over the last month (starting around October 2018). Details below - hoping management/owner sees this and can help. About 6 months ago, I bought a membership, somewhat on a whim, for the unlimited monthly package - at the highest tier offered. I was happy with the package and decided to buy a second package for my wife's vehicle. Both of us had good experiences for months - the wash worked well and the staff was always friendly. No problems billing, etc. I used the wash about 3-4x/wk and my wife 1-2x/wk. Fast forward to early October, and the first problems started showing up. My wife's vehicle is white, and mine is dark gray. I noticed some colored soap that had dried on my vehicle after a wash - didn't think much of it, just wrote it off as a one time thing and moved on. A few days later, I noticed a lot of dried, colored soap spots on my wife's vehicle. Lots of them - not just a handful. Again, not the end of the world - but worth asking about. So, at my next stop in the car wash, I asked the crew - they right away said they knew what I was talking about and the tech was coming that night to fix it. Great! I waited a few days and came back - no luck, though. It was bad enough that I needed to use a hose to spray off my vehicle - there were soap suds all over it. While I was spraying my vehicle down (they provide a hose, but it is just 1 hose and it could use about 20' of additional length), another customer asked about the soap and complained about the poor rinse and dry, as well. I thought maybe the tech tech needed more time or a part, etc - so, came back a week later - same results. It's so bad now these there are bubbly duds left all over our vehicles after each wash. And I know it's not just us, because as I mentioned, I've heard it from at least one other customer, the staff acknowledged it, and I can see the leftover soap and water on other customer vehicles. I don't want to cancel our two premium memberships, but I don't think it's worth the hassle to keep coming through (my wife's car particularly looks like a rainbow-mobile after going through, since it is white and the colored soap shows up a lot). I also can only imagine what the chemicals in the soap are doing to paint long-term for those customers who don't take it upon themselves to rinse/wash themselves after the wash. Oh - one last note - my vehicle meets the specs for the wash, but the tire shine is not big enough/long enough to get tire shine on my entire tire. About 80% of my tire is covered in tire shine but a strip of each tire is always left "uncovered" by the shine. Here's to hoping management/owner sees this and reaches out so I can keep renewing my monthly memberships These guys used to be 5 stars, and I know they can get theragain :) UPDATE - 6/25/2019 Business owner replied as you can see, a while back. That was great. He also left an email, to which I sent a note - but never heard back. The problem was never corrected. I am still paying for the monthly membership (shame on me for not moving on!), but the issue has not been addressed or improved. read more

I had the unlimited monthly membership. At the end of March, a lady hit my car and I called customer service to suspend my membership until the vehicle was repaired. The problem came after repairs were completed. When I called customer service to reactivate, and for two weeks I heard nothing. Then I get an email informing that I would have to pay another month to reactivate. Mind you,there was still over 15 days left on the membership. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! WILL SCRATCH YOUR VEHICLE!!!!Let me preface by saying that I was hesitant about going here to begin with. We were heading to my grandmothers on the east side of Columbus and went through the wash. We drove off and when we got to my grandmothers house (30 minutes away) we noticed the immense amount of scratches to the paint on the hood of our SUV. I immediately called the number online for this site and spoke to a representative that said it was extremely important I go back to the wash (30 mins) and fill out an incident report. So I did that immediately. I got on site and talked to (I'm assuming the manager on duty) and he reviewed the cameras. He came back with a clip board and had me fill out the report and said that the scratches may have been caused by the top roller. There is no other feasible way I could get scratches like these from normal every day driving. Plus the car is essentially brand new. No other paint issues anywhere else on the vehicle. Anyways I finished the report and asked to look at the cameras myself and the manager allowed me to do so. The cameras are so far away, and such poor quality that you cannot see scratches on my vehicle before or after the wash. Anyways I was told I'd be in touch. 3 days later 3/11/20, I received an email that they completed their investigation and that they are not liable for the damages based on their investigation. (Pictures included in review.) DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR VEHICLE SCRATCHED!!! Horrible experience, will never go here again and hope all of you avoid this place too. I went through the drive thru and there ws no soap or even water coming out. Only brushes and I was worried as I had my daughters new car. When I came out I drove around and spoke to the only employee on duty it seemed. She said something was wrong with the pressure but she fixed it and go thru again. I vacuumed my car and then saw cars lined up not moving. She then went and put out a closed sign... So she knew there was a problem and should have refunded me. Avoiding from now on as Moo Moo does not give me that service. read more

One of the better washes in Columbus, area. Here is the one negative thing - the pre-wash here isn't very consistent. Starts at the beginning, you either have a couple of guys "pre-wash" the car very well or sometimes they will just throw some water on your car and tell you to pull up. Ive noticed that the prewash makes a huge difference. The grounds are kept nice - all of the equipment always works. The wash (albeit a little expensive) is quality. read more
