Wish I could give 0 stars. I reached out to them right after receiving the one and only usage on the subscription. I let them know it did not clean my car at all and I wanted the subscription canceled and refunded since the service I paid for was not provided. They did cancel but also said they would not be refunding since I used the subscription already. Absolutely appalling. The bird poop on my vehicle was easily removed by wiping with a wet rag. How could your car wash not even remove new bird poop?! That's part of y'all's main marketing strategies! Terrible customer service. We got the membership, and after going online to cancel and receiving an email confirming the cancellation, they continued to charge us. After we finally noticed, 3 months later, that they were still charging us, I went in to dispute the charges. They told me they could not process any refunds on-site and told me to deal with their online customer service. After explaining what happened to customer service and showing them the email cancellation, they dared to say it was our fault for not noticing. I currently have a membership at this location and have for the most part been satisfied with the people and the service. The only issue I have had in the last couple of years was a double bill once that was never resolved and I occasionally need to drive thru twice to get the truck really clean. I have now discovered a new issue. There is no easy method to cancel a pass and get a replacement for a new vehicle. You are directed to a website to fill out a form and there is nothing that happens after that. No confirmation email, no case number , no promise for a response. I went to the office of Take 5 on Saturday, May 31, 2025. I had a frustrating situation that has been ongoing regarding my membership that nobody seems to be able to take care of and their customer service number that was given to me does not work. It has been proven by the manager there that even he cannot get through to the number. It's frustrating because there isn't anything that the employees at the car wash can do, yet there isn't any other number for me to call. I spoke with Taylor, and while her hands are tied, she took the time to listen, take down the information, and discuss the issue with me, and I left with some hope that she will follow up with the manager and prompt him to try to get me a resolution. I appreciated the time she took to listen to me, her dedication to the issue, and the accountability that was taken. I have seen Taylor in action before and she has always been a go-getter and really the only one that I've ever seen working in the front lines. From what I've seen she's always been great at getting sales and taking care of problems. I always see her moving around and going from place to place. I really hope that my issue gets resolved and for the first time regarding this situation I'm very hopeful. Thank you Taylor for your service. I bought a monthly wash deal at 33.99. I had a friend in a physical rehab just down the street from take 5 on university in denton tx. When my friend was transferred to a different location, I stooped by and requested termination of the service. I was told by the employee it had been terminated and I would not be charged after this. I recently checked my bank account and discovered they had hit my account twice since then. I contacted the company in reference to the termination of the service and refund of the two months charges they shouldn't have taken. Customer service was a joke. " I will notify the customer complaint department and they will handle the refund via email. No phone number or person to speak to just email. Yes the monthly deal sounds great but there is a huge problem being they can and apparently will continue deducting from your account after termination of service. read more

Came by here for a quick little car wash just the $10 one and as soon as I pull into the stall to pay one of the sales people comes over and tries to convince me to purchase their unlimited car wash pass for a month. I said no because I haven't been to the car wash in months and I said I only wanted the $10 one and he listed off the sleet, rain, and mud coming up in a few days and said that it would've been a good idea for me to purchase the unlimited washes. Honestly, I just felt like he was being super snarky to me plus my car wasn't even fully cleaned in there. There's still spots on my windshield, there's still spots on my car that weren't cleaned by this car wash. I am very disappointed with the car wash that I received today. My car was washed recently, but after a recent road trip I had some stuck on bugs and a dirty windshield. I paid for an upgraded wash with bug prep...after the wash my windshield was still VERY dirty. Additionally, the back of my car was soapy and looked completely unwashed. I have been to The Wash Factory numerous times and never had much problems. A quick $5 car wash is hard to beat and my kiddos love riding through. I have lost a magnet and an antenna ball in the wash but that's probably not their fault. I should have taken them off beforehand. I have only chosen the $5 option so I can't speak for any of the other options. I really come for the vacuums. Having 3 kids you can imagine the inside of my car and at The Wash Factory we can take our time and vacuum every inch of the car. It's a great opportunity for the kids to help! Sometime the vacuum may not be very strong so you might have to try the one on the other side of your car. There are lots of stalls and my car gets clean. The only other negative is the drying section of the wash isn't long enough, but not a big deal. Anyways, this is my go to car wash that I attempt to visit at least once a month. My son took his car there yesterday and this is what happened. I've seen from prior reviews this isn't the first time this has happened. They wouldn't show him a video of the actual damage but only a still shot where they claim the car was already damaged which it was not. They are refusing to accept any liability when they apparently have an issue with there wash. I would not take any cars to this or any other location as they won't fix anything that they cause. This company steals money from you right under your nose while giving you service that is subpar at best. I am not one of the many people who has suffered from vehicular damage, which has also gone untouched by their nonexistent consumer relations department, but I have been the victim of theft. Do NOT use your debit or credit card at this location. They will take your information, and then charge you 10 dollars a month for a "subscription" despite you specifically choosing to opt-out of said service. And then when you want to cancel this subscription, there is absolutely no way for you to do so on their website or over the phone because you have to input a customer ID number that they never mailed you! They are unreachable when it comes to issues, probably to make it feel impossible for their victims of robbery and deceit to fight back. The manager that finally calls you back after hours of going through loops in their phone system is hostile and cannot handle the idea of letting you finish your sentence, and then refuses to take the calls you try to follow up with afterward. This was the manager of the Denton location on University Drive. When you finally do get through it is, endlessly, excuses and excuses. It would be less painful to pull screws out of your gums than to cancel unauthorized, sneaky charges to your bank account. Beware of this company. Public Service Announcement: In December 2022, the Take 5 Car Wash location on University Dr. caused back-rear fender damage to my minivan (see photo). I very reasonably had the panel re-attached at my own expense, e-mailed and called both the local and corporate offices, and filled out paperwork with all the appropriate documentation, cataloging the entire incident. After nearly two months of no response (and not returning my calls or e-mails), the management denied compensating me for the damages caused, citing "pre-existing conditions." This vehicle has never been in an accident nor had other damages to this area of the car. Bottom line: No reimbursement for the well-documented damages, and little apology. There are no apparent warning signs or disclaimers at this location. I will not return to this or any other Take 5 Car Wash locations for risk of future damage to my vehicle. Really, ZERO stars. This place is TERRIBLE. Just moved to town earlier this year, and today was my third visit. The guy sold me on a $20 one-time wash claiming 7 layers of soap, undercarriage and wax--among other features--but I seriously doubt it. The worker at the entrance of the wash gives a poor once-over with a brush on the front and rear of the vehicle. Once inside the wash...yes, there are plenty of suds; however, the conveyor the car is on moves very quickly which doesn't give ample time for the mechanical washers to do their job. Then, there is very little rinse--drippy 'rain' falls from the top and doesn't spray from a variety of directions. I have a mid-sized SUV and when I pulled out there were still suds everywhere on my vehicle--the worst being on the entire rear (hatch and all). Suds were in the crevices of doors and the hatch because they weren't sprayed out by an efficiently powered sprayer. 'Rain' didn't rinse the seven layers of suds!! I had to get out of my vehicle and use the damp, complimentary rags to wipe down all the suds. My car was quite dirty and this wash was good enough to get the main crud off, but my car was still dirty when I left...on the lower panels, rear, and wheels. Mainly streak marks from the washing fabric arms that were dragged through the dirt. I won't be a return customer. EVER. read more

Went thru the wash in my BRAND NEW car. Car was damaged. not major, but still requires a part replacement. The staff Jaylen and Ernest took the incident report and my contact info and I talked and emailed the pics to the manager Brantley. Took pictures and called the "customer service" line - which keeps you on hold for 5-6 minutes and then tells you to leave a voicemail. Done that 2x and no response. So, I'm not really the type that's picky about my car wash. I'm actually terrible about keeping up with car washes. It's not uncommon for me to forget to get this done for a month or more. Oh, I know, you are all collectively gasping in horror. When you commute through multiple construction zones, you start to forget what your car looks like under all that filth. However, I know it's much better for the paint, if I keep up on it. Therefore, I prefer to go to convenient locations that are near my weekend errands and at a light. This fits the bill for both. When I started coming here it was the $3 Car Wash, now it's the $4 Car Wash... my, how the times have changed. They have about 5 options that go up in price, but honestly the $4 always seems to do the trick in my book. My last car wash had dirt and dust and mud from 3 states on it as I had just come back from a road trip, and that was as clean as every other time. Also, during this time of year, my neighborhood, full of pretty trees, becomes a sticky mess with tree sap everywhere. Ugh, I hate sticky things and the windshields get to be such a mess if they dry overnight. The $4 wash handled that just fine too. The only thing I would say is that the wash is a little on the rough side, so I strongly recommend you turn your mirrors in. Anytime I forget, I get really anxious and nervous. It's strong enough to get all that gunk off your vehicle, but also strong enough to knock your mirror around. If you go when it's crowded you'll only be able to use one vacuum, which is a bummer. I suggest going before 9am on the weekends, they stay crowded into the evening after that. Coming in early is awesome because you can use all the vacuums you want. It's definitly faster with my husband working one side, while I work the other. The vacuums have extremely fierce suction, I often struggle, to the amusement of my husband, as I catch it on all sorts of other things- luckily not my hair. Speaking of which, the only thing I can't manage to get with those vacuums is the dog hair off the seat covers. Everything else comes out looking pretty good. It's a car wash!!! This place is terrible. I went through it and they knocked a piece of my car off and it is hanging by a thread. They filled a report and said they would call me in LESS than 48 hours. 5 days later nobody has called me so I had to call them. I swear to god I called 9 times before anyone picked up. They did not offer me a PENNY because it is 7 years old. That is not even old really?! I own a 2010 Altima. Anyways there is another car wash place actually right next to it with the same prices. Horrible service. Pass was not working, gentleman came to help and got it to work. We went through the wash and the same employee came up to my car and told us to pull over. We did so and he told us that they have video and audio footage of my brother calling the employees derogatory phrases (which he would NEVER do). When we asked to see the so called footage, they told us they are not allowed to do that??? We called corporate and the manager and have yet to get a call back. When we mentioned that, the manager claimed to have called us back right away. We have no record of getting a call, missed call, or even a voicemail. The gentleman that originally talked to us was super nice and helpful but the lady (from what she said, the manager) was rude and not very helpful. read more
