I went here after a place prior I visited said their vacuums weren't working there. Clean & Green's car wash cleaned my car pretty well for only $10!! I'm new to Texas and noticed that it's very dusty here and my car literally gets coated in dirt/dust from the roads. So I was really shocked that $10 did a good job! Everything was very clean and the vacuums are GREAT! The vacuums weren't cheap half-ass suction ones, literally picked up almost everything. After doing a few additional touchups by hand, my car looked brand new like it just came off of a dealerships lot! Also by the way, a sign tells you to turn on your wipers and I did NOT. In my head I thought "they are going to start going off once it detects water and what if they get broken through the wash" it was quite odd to me. I read a review that their wipers came out broken....yikes. Everything went fine even though I didn't turn them on. So probably best if you just ignore the sign lol. read more

I tried the Ultimate car wash w/ everything. Not impressed. When you first drive in the wash you're supposed to stop when the lights indicate red, however you can't see anything due to the wash quickly starting and soap pouring all over your windshield. PROS: strong vacuum suction, air spray hose, and single/monthly memberships. CONS: sewer-like smell, trash cans full, not enough drying time, rain-x did not leave my car spot free. read more

Possibly the worst car wash I have ever BBG em through. Bought the most expensive and proceeded to enter wash. While in the wash, the top cloth caught my wipers and ripped both off. As I was exiting, the rinse barely worked and the blower dry time was so short I left with a soapy and wet car. We pulled in here last week around 2:30pm on a Thursday. They are connected to the 7-Eleven through the shared parking lot and right off Teasley with several entrances. There were only a few cars there, but they had plenty of spots so the entire experience was very quick without experiencing any bottlenecking at any point. This is the first time I've pulled into a non automated, self service car wash and I have to say, I kind of prefer it. Note, I'm super short so I cannot see the ground in front of my SUV and have to guess when pulling onto those automated car wash tracks, lol. So, consider what's important to you, I suppose. As we were pulling in, I was pleased to see this is a 24 hour location. That, plus the speed, makes me prefer this location to the one on University, because it's more convenient to my schedule. Since I value my time, this is a big plus. Going through, there are lights flashing instructions. This being our first time, it seemed faster than other car washes. I know we kind of rushed it through the drying time at the end and drove off with 30 seconds left. I think that was us getting used to the process and trying to figure out the timing between the car that had been finishing up when we entered and the car that was entering as we finished up. Just simply follow the lit up instructions. The car wash felt a little rough, but don't they all? It was very strong, which makes sense with it being faster. I'm terrible about washing my car on a regular basis and I commute through some construction and very windy areas, so my car is always filthy. This car wash did an admirable job with the basic wash! Nice! I'm not sure if this is an important factor to people who wash their cars once a week or more, but if you're lazy like me, this should be another plus. Since I don't necessarily have my car wash priorities straight, I'm going to tell you about the most important part to me- the vacuums. These are outrageously strong vacuums and they worked really well! That automatically makes this place my favorite in town! The crumbs, dust, lint and hair disappeared before my eyes and dog hair is one tough customer. These were so strong they got fresh with me and tried to take my sweater when I stopped paying attention, lol. Note to ladies with long hair, put your hair up before using the vacuums, or be very careful! In any case, the inside of my car looked worse than the outside of my car, yet it took very minimal effort to clean it up real nice. We paid $6 and if cheapest is your sticking point, this is a couple of bucks higher than the cheaper ones in town. There was a discount code on the receipt, which is beneficial if you go regularly. I didn't really pay attention to the prices of the higher options, but I do want to say that I think the machine talking you through the process of choosing your selection and paying probably factors in to the faster process. For the price, the convenience of 24 hours, the strong vacuums and how fast it was, I think I got a good deal with the added benefit of avoiding a crowd. I think this place will become my primary car wash going forward, I got no complaints! read more

This is the nicest self-service car wash that I've seen in the Denton area. They have roughly around 10 cleaning stations where you can use their vacuums for free which is a great deal. They have at least 4 different car wash programs you can buy. I have never had any problems, it has worked consistently every time. You can for an extra fee get a discount if you come back within a week or so but I always seem to forget that I bought it so it hasn't been a great deal for me. The actual car wash has been clean every time except one time but I don't expect them to check it 10 times a day. It's supposedly open 24/7 but I've only been to it during daylight. read more

The washer damaged the antenna (fin style) on my 2014 Madza3, with 47,000 miles. They had a disclaimer saying they're not responsible for any damagea on a car older than 7 years. I was really excited to try this place because it's close to my house! 1.) the wash is a drive in and stop on the hump kind or it's gonna beep so loud!!!!!! That game show loser beep we all hate. 2.) the wash bristles sound like they are scratching your car. After inspection that was not the case, but it's still nerve wrecking. 3.) the blow dryer is pointed in a direction that will always leave your back window dripping wet. You also have to slowly drive thru it. 4.) the back of your car does not become fully clean due to the bristles not reaching all areas. 5.) the vacuums (free, btw) have such small nozzles it will take you ALL day to vacuum your car. It's needs a wider nozzle (like the ice scraper shaped ones) 6.) overall NOT impressed. Wasted money. 7.) bugs still all up in my grill and hood. Tip for the owner: go visit Tommy Terrifics off Ross in Dallas and TAKE NOTES. They are the best ever. read more

I am here now at almost 10pm. Payed and started to drive thru the wash and forgot to put my car in park. The wash stopped and asked me to move forward. Lol! My car was covered full of soap and it didn't wash my car. I drove around and called the phone number on the building. A guy answered. Told him it was my fault bc i didn't put my car in park. I came in from out of town and drove out of my way to come to this car wash because I wanted to be able to vacuum my car and I didn't want the cost and expense of a full auto detail. I loved the design of this car wash which was obviously carefully planned and innovative. It's an exciting ride through that gets the job done. I almost always wash my car myself with a touchless spray jet. This was very different because the rollers and cleaning cloths are moving against the car. You'll definitely know that it's happening! The result was a much cleaner car than I expected - not as good as a full professional hand wash but that's not what this is. The vacuums - what can I say these are some of the best vacuums I've ever used. I "hate" the traditional fat tips that don't let you vacuum down the side of your seats. These vacuums DO allow me to do that, plus the vacuuming power is awesome! Oh did I mention that you don't pay anything extra to use the vacuums! I've been coming here since I moved to Denton about four months ago. I chose "Clean & Green" because of its reviews. It is a drive through machine wash but does a very nice job. I have no damage from their wash and I never fold my mirrors; I even have the Weather Tech storm guards inserted on my windows. My car comes out the same way it went in but CLEAN. I always upgrade my wash for the tire & wheel finish which comes out with a "detailed" look as if cleaned by hand. The free vacuum is always a huge plus. No issues, just follow the directions of the lights, real simple. The facility is nice and well-kept. I felt compelled to write this review because today is Veteran's Day and not only did I get a free wash, but I was greeted by a nice gentleman who handed out free bottled water to everyone and since I am a veteran, he provided me with a free car wash and it wasn't the basic stuff either, it was their top all-in package. I've been coming to the car wash for about 2 years now. I come several times a week because I rideshare (Uber & Lyft). I admire the way the car wash personnel honor veterans and family of veterans on Veterans Day......saving $$$$ makes me just as happy as a clean car. I do have one issue......occasionally, there is an odor to the water. I do understand the Clean & Grean concept....kinda. However, a fresh smell in the vents every time I visit would be nice. I don't think this issue is worth fewer starts because my car is still clean and the vacuums are amazing. read more

I'm updating my review as of 1/21/17. This place has gotten so much better!! I try to come here once a week or every other week. The owner commented on my previous review about the crummy suction on the vacuums. They have upped their game. I recommend this place now over the one on loop 288. The other day I had gone to the Clean and Green Car Wash here in Denton. On accident, two very important keys of mine were swept up in the vacuuming machines by me. I called Josh, the guy in charge of the car wash, and he got back to me right away. Kenneth, a very kind worker, looked through the entire vacuuming system for them even though they were filled. They got right on it and found them. I just wanna say that these people are trustworthy and awesome people! The washes also always make my car spotless. I got a paint job on my car about 6 months ago because of scratches from a previous accident, so I can no longer use car washes that have thick/harsh bristles. I've been washing my car myself but I recently moved, so finding a place and time to do it is difficult! Plus I want something quick and cheap. I always use Yelp to find places I like and I came across this car wash. I was skeptical about this one only because I was worried about it scratching my car. This was not the case. It uses thick but soft cloth wipers to clean your car. It sprays soap, cleans, rinses, and blow dries. They have 4 different packages to choose from which are all very cheap!! I personally got the Deluxe which is normally $7, but I went during Happy Hour (7pm-8pm) and I got $2 off to make 5$! You can pay with cash or card at the automated stand. There is a disclaimer sign that gives you instructions and warnings before you enter the wash. There is also a clearance sign, so if you have an elevated vehicle, it probably won't fit! There is a sensor plate on the floor that you must drive onto to start the process. It was further ahead than I expected so finding it was a bit difficult but I eventually got it (just drive slow). There is a signal light and a loud beep that alerts you if don't reach it, or drive too far. What I like most is that the wash runs 24/7! For my first time here, this car wash did a very good job. My car was a 5 on a scale of 1-10 for dirtiness and it cleaned it all up. It left very minimal water spots (you can tell because I have a dark colored car). The vacuums which are free are very powerful, and the nozzle is small and slanted, so you can get hard to reach spots. They provide trash cans at each station, so you can throw away big messes. I would definitely recommend this car wash to everyone. read more

I've been to this car wash numerous times, and have, up until a few days ago, had great experiences. A couple of days ago, I spent $13.00 for the wash (adding some of the extras), and feel like I wasted part of my money. To begin with, I never was able to get a receipt, with the offer to get a discount on future washes. After going through the wash, my car looked pretty clean, although the tires did not come out nearly as nice as I thought they should have, as there was still A LOT of grime on the wheels. My BIGGEST complaint was the HORRIBLE SUCTION of the vacuums. I spent 30 minutes plus just trying to vacuum my car so it looked ok. (I even changed parking slots, thinking I might have just had a bad one, but it was no better.) What has happened to the GREAT car wash you all used to have??? read more
