The reason I am giving this a 1 star is due to an awful experience my husband and his friend had tonight at the location in Barboursville on the stretch of Route 60E. We pay a monthly membership and have always experienced friendly customer service, except for tonight. There is a female "manager" named Kerry who was working the drive-through tonight around 5:30p-6p. In the past, when we would drive up to the drive-through, our license plate gets scanned. My husband drove up and waited longer than usual. He saw someone standing there, so he rolled down his window and asked if it scanned. Kacie or Kacey points to the windshield, and yells at him, "NO, THAT'S NOT OURS!" My husband says, "I know it's not. I'm talking about the license plate." She yells , "I SAID WE DON'T SCAN LPR?" My husband was confused because he didn't know what LPR was and she never mentioned it previously. He told her he wasn't sure what LPR was but told her it usually scans my plate. She yells, "LICENSE PLATE READER, UGH, I HATE THIS JOB BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE YOU! " He asked if she was ok and asked her to please stop yelling at him. She then proceeded to yell again saying, "I'M NOT YELLING, YOU THINK I'M YELLING, THIS IS YELLING!" My husband asked her to get a manager, and she said," OH YOU THINK THIS IS FUNNY? I AM THE MANAGER!" My husband then asks to speak with her manager and she said no one was there, but there was a different manager over there and points. After the wash was completed, my husband drove to the other manager and explained what happened and asked who and when their General Manager would be in. He was told on Sunday at 11a. If this poor woman hates her job she should not be there. Maybe she has issues. read more

Pretty much the same as the Barboursville location. I do like that they are one company, therefore, your monthly memberships work at both locations. I do prefer Barboursville to this one -- seems to have both lanes open always where this one has one lane closed. However, it appears 5th Ave location has more vacuums available in general. I'd go to either, depending on which was closer in my errands that day. I miss Magic Tunnel!! read more

Today's trip to car wash was below average in Huntington. The vacuum nozzle fell off. A new hose on mat cleaner was too short to reach both mats and another driver was entering the exit as I was leaving, and almost hit me. I really liked this car wash when it initially opened but it has been declining in service and workers are not as friendly. I think the initial look was to get customers and now they do not really care. read more

I went out to a dealer and bought a brand new Subaru Crosstrek, and went to a magic tunnel car wash location for the first time, this one being in barboursville. After going through tunnel the brushes there scratched my car all the way down the drivers side. After giving me a run around for over a week and having to call corporate to get anyone to answer about fixing it. The district manager John Wright told me they are denying the claim and that "snow" caused the scratches, and they would not help me. This is after only owning the car for a week and then he told me I couldn't have possibly had time to inspect the car to see the scratches! Saying I'm basically lying. The evening it happened a regular employee told me that 100% the brushes did it. Absolutely never go here. read more

I love how they manually touch up your car first before you go thru the wash. That makes a big difference in how well it cleans! Great service and made my Audi shine. read more
