Jiffy Lube in Jeffersonville caused over a hundred dollars worth of damage to my husband's car yesterday. When we first called about it, the customer service person ask for us to send a copy of the receipt for the repairs. We haven't done the repairs yet, because the car is at the mechanics, but we were going to get our hands on an estimate to send to them for the repairs needed. In the meantime, the manager, Bill, arrived back at work and left me a voicemail letting me know in no way, shape, or form would they refund us. He did invite us to return to Jiffy Lube and have them "service" our car again. Since their "service" included not only damaging the car, but as our mechanic put it, "They did not even change the oil. It's black--it looks like it came out of a diesel," can you imagine the hutzpah? I just called and spoke to Bill at the Jeffersonville Jiffy Lube on 10th St., and told him that we received his message, a'we do not trust them to service our car, and that they will get the review they deserve. Bill's response? "Very good." And that is the story of Jiffy Lube on 10th Street in Jeff near the new Kroger. Your experience with them may differ, but why risk it? Tim has to cover an unexpected expense and be without his car--possibly for the entire weekend and longer. Definitely not a "quick" or inexpensive oil change.

I've been to several Valvoline locations in the past and sometimes they tend to be pretty spot on…read morewhen it comes to their knowledge about cars. However, on this particular visit, I took my 02 PT Cruiser there to get the oil changed and I was told by three different mechanics that I had a severe coolant leak and that they did not feel safe working on my car. The video that you see is of coolant coming out of what is called an overfill hose which connects to the coolant reservoir in which if someone attempts to overfill this reservoir, coolant is supposed to pour out of that hose so it safely deposits to the ground. I was left without being able to get my oil changed and also given unnecessary anxiety due to thinking I had a major mechanical issues with my car. I was told by these mechanics that my vehicle was "not safe to drive" and that it would "overheat" and was also told that my reservoir was completely empty. If my coolant was empty I wouldn't be able to drive my car and my engine would already be damaged. I am appalled at their lack of knowledge and I absolutely do not recommend you take your car to this location and if you do be warned that they might not know at all what they are taking about.

I went to my dealership for a 3rd opinion. My brake pads were fine he sent me a video of him measuring them. my rotors were also fine and of course my tires were also fine. they clearly we're just trying to take advantage of me so I would never go back very disappointing that you can rarely find somewhere that will actually tell you what's wrong with your car and not try to scam you.
