went in because there was a sign showing on my dashboard. I came 15 mins before they closed end told me to come the next morning. I came there before 8:30am and chose to leave at noon because my car was never fixed. there were customers who came AFTER me and left before me. as I leave, a worker tells me I should of left the car and left. read more

Terrible customer service. Waited 25 minutes for someone to fill my tires. The little guy who finally came out, I think his name was Taylor, was incredibly rude and unprofessional and was disgustingly spitting tobacco in a can while talking to me. read more

My car wouldn't start when I came out of a store. Tow truck driver jumped the battery and said I should have it checked right away. Drove straight to Big O's, they got my car in immediately, replaced the battery, and I was on my way. My husband recently passed away. This was just one more thing he would have taken care of for me. service was great, affordable and efficient. but sales rep was rude. when trying to explain that I called in earlier to see if they would check out the weird sound coming frim my car was and I said it could have been the muffler he immediately responded we don't do exhaust work and was trying not to allow me to drop my car off and then his co worker said that they would check it out and said they do do that kind of work. Then when I went to pick it up and payed for the service he laughed at my signature and said that I could of signed better. I will continue to come back here but will ask for another worker if that employee is working. read more

I was right in the middle of discussing my tire purchase and they picked up an incoming call. No big deal - but they stayed on the phone for at least 8 minutes. Never came back to me or apologized. It's been approximately 8 years since DH and I moved back to Louisville. In all that time we've been happy regular customers. The place is clean, comfortable and well maintained. Additionally, we've always had excellent service and fair estimates without concerns we would be hit with a couple of "surprises" on the bill. As a woman, I am delighted in knowing I have a place to go for routine auto maintenance which wouldn't treat me as if I needed to have my husband or father present to insure reasonable estimates and quality service. First time to visit due to a nail in my tire and the service which was under 30 minutes was also friendly. Because the nail didn't penetrate the tire there was no charge. Pressure and other tires checked for free. Will be using these guys again for my tire needs! read more

I love this place and all the people there. I went to Big O Tires in the winter to get one new tire. I had just purchased tires from another place 1 year previously and all my tires lost air every few days. They replaced the tire and fill the other three and the air stayed in the entire winter. They said that when I purchased my tires from a different company that the tires were not the recommended size but that they made them work. Thank YOU Big ten tires so much! I enjoyed the winter months not having to blow up my tires. I don't know how you accomplished that but you did and I was so grateful for the outstanding service. Also recently I went there to have a mystery noise checked out that was giving me so much stress when driving at high speeds...they fixed it. It was a piece of lose plastic. Been a Big O customer for 20 years in a few different locations around Louisville. Replaced 4 tires on my truck at a good price. When leaving I noticed that the bill itemization listed 'free alignment check' I inquired about this check as the old tires I thought were wearing abnormally. They informed me they did not check the alignment and asked would I like them to check. I was baffled. The invoice said you checked it, but you put things on the invoice you didn't do? Not acceptable. Time for a new tire shop. read more

Let me tell you how great Jason the manager at this Big O Tire location was. My wife's BMW had a nail in the tire, close to the side wall but not too close. I ran just up the street first to Ken Towery's Firestone. Not only did they act uninterested but then told me no way it could be fixed and tried to sell me a full set of tires. I just happened to ride by this place on my way back from Ken Towerys and decided I would get a second opinion, that is when I met Jason. He smiled walked right out to the car and looked at it and said no problem, they'd have it fixed in no time. I couldn't believe it, Ken Towery just straight up lied to my face, oh well I wont do business with them I guess. Anyway he gave me a call about 20 minutes later to tell me it was ready and when I got there I was told it was on the house!!!!! I just couldn't believe it and I tried to pay but he just said to think of them when I'm ready to get tires, WHICH I WILL! This is one company that knows how to treat people, I don't know if they are all this way but this location sure is. I recommend this place if you want HONEST people to help you and not take advantage of you the way Ken Towery down the street tried to do to me. read more
