Even though we had doubts, we trusted their word and agreed, hoping it would fix the issue. Later, Action Inc. declined to cover the cost -- likely because they realized the repairs were unnecessary. I truly believe Mick's Repair was trying to scam Action Inc. for money they didn't earn. Despite Mick's not doing any repairs, they are now refusing to return our car or even let us get our belongings out. We told them we know they didn't need to do any work just to check the engine, and after that, they became hostile. At this point, they're holding our car hostage. It's been a stressful, long experience, and I wouldn't recommend this shop to anyone. I've read other google reviews and yellow pages reviews stating similar stories like recommending unnecessary repairs, rigging the cars, and not fully repairing things so they can charge more labor costs for the next visit.

No thanks! I figured there had to be another tire shop in Butte and I am so glad that we found Lisac Tire! They were super friendly and had someone check us out right away. Thankfully after they inspected the tire and discovered no damage it was determined that the valve stem was faulty and they replaced it for us for a reasonable price quickly. We're through Idaho now and driving through Washington and the tire has not lost any pressure. So thankful we didn't stay at Les Schwab and kinda feel sorry for the guy who was still likely waiting when we were already heading west in the I-90.

In the meantime I went to Lisac's Tire for a quote, they said they could get the parts same day from local suppliers. Just before I went to Lisac, Les Schwab called to give me a quote. Same guy from the front desk, he said it would cost approximately $3,300.00 and they would not be able to get to it this week. All that money for presumably just rotors, brake pads, calipers, and labor. I told him I'd just go to Lisac. Lisac then completed the job in just a few hours for $319.00 and told me my calipers did not actually need to be replaced. I only asked for them because Les Schwab told me I needed them! 383 miles from home just before the Anaconda, MT rest stop, the engine overheat warning sounded in…read moreour truck as we pulled our travel trailer toward our destination camping in the Idaho panhandle. With little choice, we limped at 40mph 20 miles back to Butte. That was Saturday. We holed up in a hotel until Monday when things opened back up. Dealership service dept.s were full up. Kevin, office manager, of Car Tune took in our truck with no promise of being able to fix whatever was wrong in a hurry but did offer to run diagnostics asap. We left the vehicle with him/them and made our way back to our hotel. After only a few hours Kevin called us and said it was fixed. Indeed it was. We were able to salvage part of our intended trip and drove the truck pulling our trailer back home - 630 miles, 11.5 hours. No overheating. The truck ran perfect. Thanks Kevin, Kevin and crew!
