I think there was a combination of elements creating chaos at the shop today-- a difficult vehicle ahead of me, training going on, etc. It came down to ONE person not listening to what I was asking; she just walked away and told me they wouldn't service the vehicle. Cooler heads prevailed and the others at the shop treated me better, you know, with recognition that I was the customer. Perhaps she just needs some training in customer service. However, I do believe that the people in the shop did the work correctly, and my rig is safe to drive.

GAS PRICES At MORE than a dollar cheaper per gallon than what we left in Glendale, CA, I continue to be amazed at the cost of filling up this U-Haul Truck at a full 30% LESS per gallon ($4.49 in Glendale versus $3.3 in Butte). We are really figuratively scratching our heads on this one (though we DO know it has a lot to do with the special TAXES you will find in Califronia as well as the additional additives to the gas).
